Ordered Chicken sandwich and chicken fried steak sandwich. Had to taste one to tell which was which. Both were VERY well done, VERY dark brown. Also ordered onion rings, they too were VERY well done, almost burnt. The good news is that you should have no worries about anything being under cooked. Using the screen in the parking space to place the order turned my hand a dark grey color, I'm guessing they never clean them. Lesson learned! read more

This is a must stop. Large enough side parking for truck and travel trailer. Non-traditional style Sonic. Inside restaurant with clean bathrooms! Super nice staff and good food for a good value. This is probably one of the nicest Sonics that I have ever been to. It was a pleasant roadside surprise for a pair of late-night travelers. The staff is super friendly and patient with crazy late night specialized drink requests. They even offered amusing suggestions to further modify their drinks. The bathrooms are shockingly clean for a fast-food joint, let alone for one along a highway. I was impressed with the obvious care and effort employees were making so late at night to keep the establishment running smoothly. read more

If you're driving up to Dallas and hungry this place will meet your fast food needs. It came out hot, correctly prepared, and their new chicken sandwich was delicious. Not much else you can expect from a joint right off the highway. You're not going to get a 5 start gourmet experience because this is a friggin' Sonic. Sonic has such a large variety of foods and shakes. It really is hard to decide here when ordering. A few of my favorites here at Sonic is the BLT toaster, cookie dough blast, mozzarella cheese sticks, cheese burgers and there crispy crunchy taylor tots they also have slushiest and you can add candy if you want. I don't usually write reviews for fast food, you either like it or you don't- BUT.. this sonic was awesome. We stopped here driving through from east Texas back to Austin and I ordered my usual, cheese onion rings and added on a burger. BEST burger I've ever had from fast food and they hooked it up on the cheese for my onion rings (that were the best I've ever had at sonic, btw). I called the manager and the supervisor to let them know the crew that day was totally on top of things! read more

This location seems cool because it has inside dining and a playground. But it's awful. The tables were dirty. Floors were dirty. Bathroom was disgusting. Several order stations were broken. Were out of bread to make toasters and grilled cheese. Signs taped to the window were very crooked. Old tape was left on windows. People have vandalized booths and walls with scratches and stickers. Playground was temporarily closed. We saw several flies. Will never go back. read more

They refused to give me the stated menu price and said it was wrong so charged me $.30 more for each item. The beef patties were questionable..gave them to our dog. They did not care that the law in the State of Texas says you have to sell an item for the stated price. I am going thru there in a few weeks and I plan to stop there just long enough to see if the menu has been changed as I told them it must be. Stay away from this place..there are much better out there. read more

This particular sonic is Horrible!! The young girl taking our order was very rude, she kept leaving things out in our order, and if I asked her to repeat it she would YELL the order back at me... We waited 30 mins for a small $10 order and when we pressed the button and asked about our order, she laughed and asked what we ordered and said she was going to have to ring us up again... We told her no and ended up leaving and will not return... Most of the time I am very understanding when it comes to food service because I've been there done that before... But having bad customer service for no reason isn't acceptable. read more

The food was cold, too much chatting in the back and customers were ignored. Trash on the floor, restrooms were nasty, "stuff" was stored in the restaurant in a corner. When food finally arrived, the waitress apologized for the delay. They didn't answer the call from the car when we tried to order from outside. Dreadful experience and we typically love sonic. Passing threw heading back to Dallas stop in to buy 2 drinks. After waiting several minutes to place my order a sonic hop girl walked by asked if the intercom was broke nobody would take my order. Lady next to me asked the same thing to her. She went inside and still nothing. Just kept waiting. Then I start heading inside and asked another employee the same. She had really short cut hair. She said they were understaffed, had only 4 people working but this place was not packed with people at all. She asked what I needed told her, she then walked inside yelling at manager saying she had mad customers cussing her out. Manager or whom ever said loudly enough so I could here nobody is to talk to you that way. We have a right to refuse service and if didn't like it take our business else where's. I found this to be really poor. Told lady when she came back out I had NOT cussed her she said someone else was not me, but yet I was the ONLY customer she had spoken too about this situation. Told her I hope her evening gets better. Rude and slow service. Inside dining area extremely dirty. Manager stayed on the phone nearly the whole time there.
