It was busy when we got here 1/2 hr wait. But we were seated within 15-20 minutes, while you wait there is a small booth on the side that sells mimosas, bloody Mary's and coffee. Their coffe is supposed to be real good but we arrived around 1:30ish and it was too hot for coffee so I opted for a bloody May. And OMG! I had nit had a good BM in a while this one was so good and refreshing! Lol!!! I literally snorted the whole 8 oz. It was a perfect blend of all the mixes with a pickled green bean for garnish. You have to try...once we got seated we ordered the Almond French toast, biscuits with gravy, eggs and chorizo combo and the gourmet Benedicts. Their chorizo is decent, full of flavor. I have switched it up before and gotten the breakfast burrito, chilaquiles. Friends I've gone with have gotten the omelets, too. And the best part is always the sweet potato home fries. The best! My tattoo artist mentioned Two Chicks that was close by. Wow! Way better than Pegs!! The biscuits are way better and they have more vegan options than Pegs with egg substitutes and vegan cheeses. The first bite I took was just wow. Everything here is fresh and local. On the menu it tells you where they get their products from. Great place if you want brunch. I loved their freshly squeezed orange juice and their sweet potato home fries. I was under the impression that it was regular potato but the server clarify that it was sweet potato. It was delicious! They also have vegan option. You can also buy their orange juice or product they have for your own "grocery store needs. Definitely a go to spot when going to Reno for brunch. read more

When I first moved to Reno in 2018 I used to go to Two Chicks all the time, I loved the breakfast and the service was great and friendly. But recently it has went downhill. I was there a few days ago by myself and I sat at the bar. I sat there for 10 minutes and wasn't even offered a glass of water nor was I even acknowledged. I gave them the benefit of the doubt bc they seemed kinda busy. Then another guy walked up by himself and sat three stools down from me. Within less than one minute he was offered a glass of water and was handed a menu. I got up and left, I will never go there again. I blame the poor service on the generation. read more

After searching for a good place to have a good old fashion breakfast my sister came across "Two chicks". The reviews seemed great and the pictures looked appealing. My sister and I were disappointed by the dinner we had at the grand Serra hotel and casino the previous night so we were wanting a good place. With COVID-19 still around there wasn't much options that was even open in Reno or offered "indoor-dine-in". As soon as we pulled into the small parking lot we saw a lot of people inside which was a good sign. My sister said that the wait to dine-in was long but the outdoor seating was available and we said why not it wasn't cold or hot. We were seated and were immediately taken care off with warm smiles :) Everything on the menu looked so good and we ordered our food and it was very good and tasty! Just what the doctor ordered! The bacon was crispy and tasty! The coffee was super hot and tasty. The waitress and host came up several times to check on us and made us feel nice that we were not neglected. read more

Nice little spot. I really liked the decor and idea of the place. The bloody Mary's are excellent and I heard from someone in my party that had a cider mimosa it was outstanding. My other companion said the tomato soup was amazing and he insisted on taking leftovers home, we live 4 hours away but he wasn't leaving his soup behind. My other buddy had breakfast, ham eggs etc. She was unhappy with the ham that was visibly overcooked. My biscuits and gravy also seemed overdone. We had to get on the road and didn't care to express our concerns but with 2 out of 4 people having near full plates at the end of their meal should be a sign. If I lived in the area I would be willing to try again. I believe in second chances. Some restaurants just have an off day. Again I liked the concept and story behind this restaurant. I've passed this place plenty of times but haven't gone in because I always see a line outside waiting to be seated. I decided to try it out today so I went around 8 am - turns out it was about the right time to be there as I got seated right away. This struck me as a quality place to get good breakfast and I wasn't wrong. I ordered the Yellow Chick skillet (I think that is what it's called) made up of two eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and jalapenos, along with a side of sourdough toast and some unique flavored spread. There were probably too many jalapenos for my tastes, so I took out some (I like some spicy hot, but not that much!) Atmosphere is nice - they sat me in a corner which works good for me. There was a big group meeting for breakfast across from me, so I can say it's pretty well suited if you want to bring multiple friends. Service was pretty fast considering it was getting busy. By the time I was finishing up and 9 am rolled around it started getting crowded, so all worked out well. Looks like there's a second location getting ready to open (much nearer to me on Virginia and Meadowood Mall Way)! You go, Two Chicks! Thumbs up. read more

Fun, whimsical ambiance. Right off we liked that they had multiple eggs Benedict options. Two people in our party had traditional bennies and loved them. I had the pancake combo w. chorizo and it was delicious. My buddy has the chicken fried steak and I was almost envious because it looked so good; the sausage gravy is legit! There were interesting vegetarian and vegan options as well. The service was great - super friendly and attentive. Our food came up reasonably quick - we were in and out in just under an hour (for a table of six). I would make the effort to eat here even if I weren't staying at the Aiden Hotel. My family and I used to go in every Tuesday. I have a gluten allergy and they have always been amazing with their GF food. We sat down and I ordered a sandwich on their gluten free bread. When the food came, I started eating it only to realize it was regular sourdough. I understand that mistakes are made, but the recovery of the situation is what ruined it. The manager, Michelle, came over and at this point, I'm in tears knowing how bad my reaction will be. Michelle told us it's our fault for eating there when I have an allergy, even though we've had no problem in the past. She charged us for everything except the sandwich, even the extra aioli sauce I couldn't eat. Michelle made sure to take the sandwich away and stoped the sandwich they were remaking so we wouldn't walk home with anything. It seemed like they were just trying to get rid of us. The English muffins on the eggs Benedict were ROCK hard on the bottom. Difficult to cut through it with a steak knife! The veggies on the eggs Benedict were few and far between.. The eggs were tiny and there was barely enough hollandaise sauce to cover the top. The hash browns were like cement. We went out to breakfast but didn't realize it was a used shoe store. We had pork chop and eggs, however the pork chop could not be distinguished from old shoe leather. Delicious Breakfast and VERY accommodating!!! We were in town for a family wedding and had a very large party, they got us same day reservations and our family was able to go and enjoy a yummy breakfast before heading home!!
