This local restaurant is located in the Sticks Complex in Midtown. The restaurant is cute and has a homey feel to it. When you first walk in, you're greeted to a board with their specials on it. You also seat yourself; we chose a booth in the very back of the restaurant. Our server was quick to get our orders. My friend got a grapefruit mimosa and I got a cup of milk. Milk and mimosas in the morning, not a bad way to start your day! Time for food orders; we ordered the Red Chick Scramble and the Sausage and Eggs (under Two Egg Breakfasts part of the menu). The wait time was relatively short and the food tasted great! I love their homemade strawberry butter that comes with your bread. It was a simple, yet quite delicious breakfast. There's a whole lot more on the menu I'd want to try so we'll definitely be back! read more

Very cute little restaurant. Jenga out front to keep you busy as you wait for your table. A little loud inside, if I were to go again I would request outdoor seating. My son ordered the almond poppyseed French toast, the blueberries appeared to be the wild Maine canned type, he enjoyed his breakfast. It is a large plate of food. I ordered the Chile Relleno omelet with the sweet potato home fries. The home fries were the best part of the plate. The ranchero sauce was a bit bland for my liking, nothing that couldn't be fixed and altered to meet your own tasks with a little hot sauce. I am watching my diet closely and we are going to a more vegetarian diet which is why I chose this particular spot, they have many options that are or can be easily transitioned to meet our new lifestyle attempt without making us feel like we are missing out on anything. Waitress was nice. Not sure if we will return again as we are only visiting here in Reno and to make me want to return to while on vacation something has to really stand out, and that was missing for me. I would suggest you try it for yourself, it is good food and a good environment. read more

Two Chicks was great! Stopped by here to grab some breakfast before heading to Lake Tahoe and was really glad we did! We went during the COVID pandemic and even though reservations were required, they were able to quickly accommodate us with only 10 minute notice. I had the half portion of Apple Cinnamon French Toast with eggs and sausage. It was the perfect size for me and the French toast was soooo yummy and flavorful! My friend got the two eggs and said it was aight lol. I really enjoyed their coffee and they served it in a big mug yay Service was really friendly and the overall atmosphere in here was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place :) read more

After hearing from multiple people, I decided to check out this place and two chicks did not disappoint!! I got one of the two chicks favorite Benes and the yolk was perfectly cooked, along with the other fix ins and home fries side. Parking wasn't bad as you can street park in midtown. As for the drinks, I was definitely impressed by the variety of brunch drinks. I decided to go for the chambucha (champagne + kombucha) and it was very refreshing! definitely a staple breakfast spot in Reno to enjoy on a sunny weekend read more

Love this place!!! So much variety and yumminess. We were driving across the US and stopped. I was concerned when we pulled up and realized it was part of hotel. Was I wrong! Now I just want to stay at the hotel to be able to be right by the restaurant! All ingredients are clearly labeled so those with food exclusions can get vegan, gluten, and dairy free. Not a huge breakfast person, but it was really good! Went with my sister and lady where we had a few different things and they were all very tasty. Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Tacos, and Chorizo Omelette was ordered. They do use a ton of eggs which is not my things, wish it had other fillers instead of MASS EGG. Haha.... So i was scrambling to find a brunch spot for Valentine's Day, luckily yelp suggested two chicks. Due to the current covid mandate, reservations are required. Unfortunately you cannot make reservations online but no biggie it was just a quick phone call and we were all set in less than 2 minutes. The midtown location is pretty cool, it's in the newer developed area with tons of shops around. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but it's not a big problem. Upon entering you are immediately greeted by the hostess. The restaurant itself has a cool industrial type vibe with a open view of the kitchen area. It's a very unique layout and fun to watch everything going on. Down to the grub, I had the porkchop w/ eggs & hash browns. The wife went with the apple cinnamon French toast. Everything was amazing! Even the toast with this strawberry cinnamon butter. Everything was made fresh with locally grown ingredients. Even the coffee is from a local roaster. Two Chicks is our new favorite spot for brunch. Start your day right! My friends and I were in Reno for a dance festival, we were tired of the options in the hotel/casino, so we decided to explore the town. Two Chicks had been recommended by another friend and it didn't disappoint. Although parking is a little tricky to find, we were still able to find parking near by. There wasn't a lot of customers at the time we arrived, so we were seated right away. The restaurant's structure is open, so any table you get will always have a ray of sun. The ambiance of the restaurant is that of vintage, chic, fun, youthful and there are chicks literally everywhere. The silverware comes wrapped in fabric with red and white patterns. Gage greet it us and took our drink order. Coffee and orange juice this morning for us. The portion of coffee is so generous, I am thankful for that. We ordered bacon, eggs and hash browns. I have to say that the hash browns were dry and too crispy for our like. We also ordered the salmon, cream cheese omelette. The dish is very fulfilling and loaded with protein, however one must come hungry. This is a good breakfast for someone that is planing a very active day. I think the star of the day for me was the huevos rancheros. The black beans and the flavorful salsa made my eyes close at every bite. I had mine with sunny side eggs, but you can ask for your favorite. I also had French toast, it had light poppy seeds on the bread and it comes with a blueberry syrup with real blueberries and powdered sugar. To top off the experience our server Gage made us feel very special. He went above and beyond to serve us our breakfast and to make sure we had a pleasant experience. Glad to have stoped by the two chicks before my Sunday errands Ordered a Strawberry lemonade mimosa, orange justice, nutty Irishman, and their Bumble Brie and Sweet Potato Home Fries. Very cute brunch restaurant downtown. The service was great. Loved the very hipster vibe and even the plates were egg shaped. Enjoyed the chorizo omelet while the husband had the breakfast burrito. The sourdough toast came with a strawberry butter which was unique. Prices weren't bad either. Did get confused by their "sweet potato fries" since they're not but just fried potatoes. Really great breakfast, fantastic service, and cute atmosphere. We had the a fairly simple breakfast: one egg any style (mine was poached perfectly), one meat (I had the tasty bacon), and the french toast with berry compote on top. The French toast was incredible! It was not 'smothered' in compote either so that the flavor of the toast could shine because it was not just any old bread. They make the French toast with almond poppy seed bread. Talk about YUM! The service was fantastic. Our server was funny, efficient, and fast! Oh, and one often overlooked detail that I noticed...the bathrooms were very clean! My dad always said that the restaurants reflected the care they took in the kitchen. Next time we are in Reno, we are definitely coming back! read more

My son and I, love to have Breakfast here If you are looking for a place with good Mimosas and great food this is your place. We try to avoid waiting more than 30 minutes so we sit down by the bar since there's always 2 spots available faster than a table (We usually go on the weekends) The waiters are pretty friendly and welcoming, after we got seated we were taken our drink order, a warm cup of water for me and a hot chocolate for my son. read more

Traveling for long weekend in Tahoe/Reno. Good reviews brought us here, and we always like to support local haunts. Our server Josh was very attentive. My wife had the Chili Relleno Omelet. Was very tasty, although the potatoes were tasty but a bit tepid in temp. I had the sweet potato pancakes. They fall apart as Josh aptly stated. They were good, but the soft boiled egg in the side was a little cool. I think perhaps the orders sat at Expo a bit too long. It certainly wasn't a downer experience. Decor and ambiance is superb. Food was amazing! Their veggie omelet was delicious, the sweet potatoes could have been cooked slightly longer but it was absolutely delicious! We also ordered a short stack of their sourdough pancakes which were the best pancakes we've had in a long time. Their sausage and biscuits were homemade and also quite nostalgic. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Came back to Two Chicks (TC) with co-workers. I followed lead today and ordered Eggs Benedict, and I have to say WELL DONE! Tasty Egg Benedict, a great thick slice of ham, a perfectly poached eggs, and great sauce. The only thing on my plate that was not great was the sweet potato hash. It really needed another 2-3 minutes of cooking time, not much color on the potatoes, over half the hash was undercooked. I did get a half order of biscuits and gravy, that was excellent, gravy was perfectly seasoned, and lots of sausage bits in there. I didn't get coffee, as one of my pet peeves is ordering coffee and then only get 1-2 cups, I would highly consider getting coffee here in the future as they SERVERS were on it. I would have to say one of the best service experiences I have seen. The team all works together, and it feels like a quality production. Another thing when you are larger party, and everyone is dining as individuals, I remember it was a ton of work, but they don't even bat an eye here, either technology has improved, or they are really great at their job, or BOTH! Either way, it's a not huge portions, hence why I got two dishes, but when you get a dish, the memory/flavor of the dish(es) stays with you, with pricing that is spot on, and constantly receiving impeccable service, that's a 5 Star Worthy Experience in my Book - Any Day! =) read more

Our family visited this restaurant for breakfast/brunch, hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by an incident that left us disappointed. Our son accidentally spilled his orange juice, and while we understand accidents happen, we were surprised to find that we were charged for a replacement without being offered a courtesy refill, which is common practice at many other establishments. Additionally, we found the pricing policy regarding drinks to be misleading. Ordering from the kids' menu, we assumed that when it stated "milk and juice extra," it meant we would be charged an additional fee, not the full price. Furthermore, the lack of displayed prices for drinks added to the confusion. When we attempted to address these concerns with the manager, we were met with dismissiveness and were essentially told that this was just how things were done at this restaurant. This lack of understanding and customer service was disappointing, especially considering that the food itself was quite good. While the quality of the food was fine, the deceptive pricing practices and poor customer service overshadowed our experience. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this establishment. Me and my wife just went for our first breakfast at 2 chicks . We waited 20 minutes for the eggs Benedict to arrive and the place was at 20% capacity. My wife got her hollandaise sauce in a side bowl and it was cold ( she did not request it on the side?), she is not usually one to complain. When she asked for warm hollandaise she was told they serve it this way here and there was nothing they could do for us by the waitress. An apparent manager came to our table to explain they could not re heat the sauce and that is how it is served, instead of just making a new one for her. Mine was not cold so I thought they would just take care of us. Instead we were embarrassed as we left the place never to return. Super popular breakfast spot in midtown Reno. The place was packed. We needed up taking two spots at the counter which was fine, and had a really great breakfast. I had am omelette that Parmesan, garlic, and other amazingness. I would definitely order it again. I would've given five stars but it doesn't seem this place knows how to make extra crispy bacon. This is the second time I've been here, asked for extra crispy bacon, and it comes in soggy. I had to send it back both times. I need to shout out Two Chicks restaurant on Virginia st. We went and had a nice breakfast but what was even better was their take home menu. We got a huge container of home made sausage gravy and a loaf of icky wheat bread (made locally) i used the gravy with our chicken fried steaks last night and have been eating the heck out of the bread with avocado for the past couple mornings. When we came it was raining, and their "heaters" were soooo weak. They should have a better waiting places. Our server Angie was AMAZING! So the food arrived and my eyes popped out of my head when my burger arrived, the patty was meaty and the vegetables on the burger were fresh. I chose the Mushroom Swiss burger, Wow ! Every bite was delicious and the French Fries were so crisp and delicious. I filled my belly to its limit with this meal. Oh, and my friend's omelette was unbelievable it was so fluffy and it was served steaming, every bite steam kept rising from it, it's like nothing we had ever seen, unbelievable ! As for me I probably won't be ordering a burger anywhere else. Excellent ! I did also order a Latte and it was filled to the rim and quite good. They definitely deserve 5 Stars.
