Wow wow wow!!! This is a true GEM!!! I'm from LA and didn't realize Reno was capable of such epic proportions. The food here is incomparable- "Fresh AF" is their motto for a good reason!!! I ordered the veggie scramble and my friend ordered the breakfast poutine. Both insane. The orange juice? Freshly squeezed! I was in heaven. Our waitress Veronica was very kind and accommodating with a pleasing personality. The decor is adorable AND they donate to charity and support local farms!!! Took my fiancé and doggo out for my pups 1st birthday. Sat outside and the staff was very accommodating. They even brought a water bowl for my pup. Great staff. Food is always on point. Went for the ultimelt, the O.G. Just as magical as ever. No cap! Been eating these sandwiches since the gourmelt days, and the quality has never gone down. Best grilled cheese I've had. This is the original two chicks location. I've been here plenty of times and it is always excellent! The staff is so friendly and attentive. Their service is quick and the food is always amazing. My favorite is the yellow chick skillet -- it is so delicious! I will warn you though, depending on the day, sometimes the jalapeños are super spicy or very mild. Their butter they make for the toast is delectable - I would buy a tub of it if they sold it! On weekends, this location can get pretty busy and parking is sometimes tricky to find just due to the location. read more

I got the newly added tuna sandwich, and I have to say: it was absolutely great, and I highly recommend it as well. The waiters were super nice and friendly too, very inviting. Service was quick and the fresh grapefruit juice was great. Ordered the house original Benedict, (Bene on parm bread sprinkled with bacon) and it was brought out fast and well plated. Hashbrowns were really good and everything was well cooked. I found the parm bread made the meal far too salty, but after I took the bread out and used the potatoes instead it was quite nice. I would go back, I'm sure the other Benedict's are terrific. read more

A fabulous, consistent, amazing staple of Reno eating. I genuinely do think that Two Chicks is one of the best brunch experiences you can have in Nevada. The food is amazing, with fair portions, good prices, and with a cafe vibe that is normally only found in older diners with seasoned guests and atmospheres. staff are always fast, they're always kind, and I've never had an issue with dietary restrictions, going out with people who have Celiac or other issues. can't really recommend a breakfast place more. read more

We tired this place based on Yelps recommendations, and I'm happy to report it doesn't send us astray! The food was great! I had an omelette with chorizo, and the only complaint I could mentioned was it was dry/cooked hard, but the hash browns were great and the mango butter for the toast was to die for. I was googling how to get it at home before we left. My gf has the biscuits and gravy and that was also amazing. The staff was super attentive and quick, even with the place full. And at the end, the bill was actually reasonable. Not to mention the cool tshirts on the wall you can get and the fund raising they do. We'll totally be back! read more

I went here recently with my family and it was pretty good! I liked my bacon and hash browns the best! They were both cooked really well. I also really like the pumpkin butter with the wheat toast. My mom liked her veggie omelette. I'm a huge French toast lover but I wasn't really a fan of the poppyseed bread even though it was unique idea. The Gravy was top notch. Some of the best i've ever had and I was a breakfast cook and love to eat breakfast. Biscuits wasn't dry and extra buttery. We loved our breakfast at Two Chicks! I'm vegan and he's an omnivore so it can often be a challenge to find something that satisfies both of us. I had the vegan skillet with the vegan sausage and oh my! the portion was large! All the veggies and potatoes and the vegan sausage mixed in (not added on top like an afterthought). He had the biscuits & gravy and says it was delicious! He says he would go back there anytime and have it again (and again and again)! We had a 'drink' each, he had a Modelo and I had a Tahoe Navel, the perfect pre-noon cocktail. It has juice and stuff My only comment is that the coffee could have been warmer. Really enjoyed this spot! We were visiting Reno for the weekend and stopped by here before we left to get back home. We stopped in around 8ish on a Sunday. The parking lot was almost full (there is only about 10 spaces for the little shopping area where Two Chicks is located). There is additional parking on the street nearby. When we got there, it wasn't busy at all. We were quickly seated. We ordered 2 coffees and I got the half traditional eggs bene and the caprese bene with the hashbrowns. My husband ordered the biscuit and gravy combo. My benes came out with the sweet potatoes instead of the hashbrowns, but they quickly got me the hashbrowns as I had ordered. The food was really good. The caprese bene was to die for. My husband liked the biscuits and gravy. The coffee was good too. I did try the sweet potatoes that came with my order and I wasn't really a fan, but I didn't originally order them, so no complaints there - that just isn't my type of potato with breakfast. We will definitely be back if we're ever in the area again. read more

Their coffee is good for most places, they have mimosas and they have plates that include plant based options and some that have spice to them. Our new favorite breakfast place. Superb coffee and delicious choices on the menu. A trendy place in mid town Reno enjoying a renaissance of new businesses. Seems to always be busy with good mix of patrons from locals, health workers and university students. Quick to seat you with fast friendly service every time we've been there. Street parking available if the small lot out front is full. Definitely a must if you are in the neighborhood or new to the area. It's been a few months since we've been able to enjoy our favorite breakfast spot, but we are so happy they are back. Even if it's at reduced capacity, but it's worth it! Yes, i was hung over thank you and that order just says "Please for the love of all that is good, bring me back to life." The food was good, the hashbrowns were not as crunchy as i had hoped. Everything tasted fresh. The crown jewel of the meal was the chicken fried steak and gravy, also the chorizo patties! They were amazing! I would definitely recommend only eating here, as im sure the food is excellent when not waiting for pick up. Also, anything with the chorizo patties is going to be a party in your mouth. I will have to try this place when the pandemic is long over and perhaps even compare it to Pegs Glorified Eggs. Both of these places are of similar quality IF you eat there and its fresh!
