Team is exceptionally nice, and I love the fact that the clothes are always organized precisely by size and color. This is a very good plus size consignment store (do you like how I said that like there are so many to compare it to?!). Good selection, great pricing on the high end items, but I didn't feel the pricing on their low end items was as competitive. For example, I came across a nice George brand skirt and I didn't feel the price was low enough compared to what it probably was new. But that is okay, I still bought a pair of jeans they carry at Nordstrom for $13 and a cute little hat for $6 I'm going to embellish for the Kentucky Derby Party I'm going to! This place is amazing!! Every time I go I find tons of stuff, from a denim body fitting jumpsuit to a glorious yellow raincoat to a rabbit fur cape, this place has it all, though they are obviously selective about what they bring in. They have designer brands, a designer sales room and another huge sales room, plus they have occasional bag sales where you fit all you can into a bag and pay I think $8 for the whole thing. Really cool. Plus, duh, it's all plus sizes! Make your FRIENDS stand around and awkwardly shop for accessories for a change! I'm a size 26 btw and always find lots for me. read more

I was excited to check out this store because as a plus sized girl I love a store dedicated to me! However I found a lot of the clothes more appropriate for a older lady. Not a lot of hip or trendy pieces in my size (2/3x or 22). It is a HUGE place and maybe I'm just picky and I had a off day. I do know I wish we had more consignment shops in Alberta. Decided to drop in today to see what they had. It was my first visit and most likely will not be my last. Had hoped to find some wonderful 60s and 50s era jewelry but that was not to be. They did have some stuff from the 80s though--if you are looking for that kind of thing. Tons of clothes categorized by style (pant, skirt, etc.), then size (including tall and petite) and then further categorized by color. I happened to stumble upon this store one day when I was just wandering around the neighborhood to get some fresh air. It was a serendipitous, almost magical moment, as I had just been lamenting that I had a few weddings to go to that coming year and was having difficulty finding pretty clothes that fit. Their selection is fantastic and has options for a variety of sizes and styles. I've never left the store empty-handed. I made it a point to get to 2BB. Coming from Alaska, where Plus size shopping is a joke, this was a must stop during my Seattle trip. Before I even got there I had emailed Deb and she responded with bus routes and a cafe in the area for us. Great help! Serwa was the lovely lady who helped us. The staff is always a pleasure! The selection is vast! And the prices are better than you would ever expect! Being a plus sized Drag Queen it can be hard to find things off the rack, forcing me to have custom items made all the time but once I found Two Big Blonds it changed things! Of course I still have a lot created for me but it's nice to have options. I have even been able to bring in the rest of the cast from my show and completely costumed shows from the selections we found at Two Big Blonds! It can be a little nerve racking to be shopping for my alter ego as a boy but the staff always makes me feel welcome and appreciated, heck I've even had numerous occasions when more than one of the shop attendants have been acting as a personal shopper to help find what I was looking for. This store is HUGE, much bigger than I expected! And as such, it has a HUGE collection of handbags (that fit on skinny girls too, of course), an enormous collections of shoes (for wide feet, mostly, so skinny girls stay away), and so many clothes that it would take hours for one to browse carefully. What a highly unusual find, considering that these are plus sizes, normally so hard to find! Big girls in Seattle, do yourselves a favor and move your behinds down there immediately! Some smaller consignment boutiques only have chic clothes in pristine condition; not so here, where you can find a mixture of everything, the good and the bad, the like-new and the beat up, the pompous and the casual. There is lots of good stuff. Sizes are 14 and up. The jeans collection is fantastic, I never saw so many sizes 14 and 16 jeans in one place! The employees are nice too, helpful and friendly, while letting you do your browsing without hovering. I carried 3 heavy armfuls of jeans to and from the fitting room, without being bothered. Love to shop in peace! :-) Unlike some plus size stores, full of ugly, shapeless clothes meant to fit but not necessarily fit well, here the big girl will certainly find plenty of garments that will actually look good on her body. Most shops have a measly rack or two of tent shirts and a token dress or two, if they carry plus size at all. Many don't. Let me just say, as a personal shopper, it is VERY hard to find great plus size clothing, so I am betting that when a plus size woman gets her hands on a fabulous garment she wears it until it is in tatters. Just a guess. Ok, so this place is humungous, enormous and very big. At the front of the store are the racks of designer/higher end clothing such as JNY and Eileen Fisher, with some really beautiful clothing. They know what they have and it is priced accordingly, which is only fair. In the middle are many racks of your normal garb. There is plenty of matronly here but the selection is so big that there is a lot of great stuff, too. I saw sizes up to 30 pants racks, no lie. At the back of the store-guess what-WEDDING DRESSES and a huge sale section. Oh. and one more thing: they have hats that will make you want to run as fast as you can to the nearest speakeasy. What I wouldn't give to be able to pull off a leopard print hat with a wide brim and net! Great spot for finding clothes for larger women. My only complaint is that they don't seem to price items well. I've lost 60+lbs over the past two years and have brought in numerous loads of clothes (depending on the season) and I am consistently disappointed by their perceived worth, and then the checks I get from 2BB. Also, they price items after you leave them and send you an invoice, which seems kind of weird to me. The really nice things that I thought other large women would be able to use, I take to 2BB. But for average stuff, I just donate them to Goodwill and take the tax-write off - it's a better deal and you don't have to drive all the way across town. read more

This store is incredible. I live in San Diego and visited family in Seattle and thought it would be nice to find a few outfits - I could have spent 5 hours in here. It's HUGE. The selection is high quality, current, beautiful and the staff is beyond helpful. I'm actually on the smaller end of plus size (size 12) and there were still options for me. Plus they have everything from wedding dresses to shoes to accessories and a considerable sale room. The one star review is crazy - I've never seen selection like this and I've only lived in major US cities. Prices are great and they have regular sales. I love this place. There is a ton of clothes over size 16 so you can actually find something to wear that everyone else doesn't have. It is like the opposite of most stores where the larger sizes are next to the maturity clothes and consists of 3 racks. This place has rack after rack of cute and professional clothes. They even have shoes, purses, jewelry, and hats for you skinny folks. The people of really nice and willing to help you find the perfect outfit - they are even honest if the color doesn't look good on you. I have also consigned with them and sold most of the items. Their prices are very fair so you don't get a ton of money for consigning, but you do save a lot of money when purchasing. Their selection of larger size wedding dresses is outstanding. Just to clarify - it wasn't a hot day, everyone was on the other side of the counter talking and looked in our direction as we came in. No one said hello. There was a fan going in one part of the store. But it was very muggy in there. I believe you have that many items but you did not have the size selection as advertised on your website.I understand you maybe the biggest in town but I was just saying you are nowhere the best. I am only one customer. I just wanted to share our experience. I didn't say we didn't find our sizes. I was just looking and saw none of the larger sizes you said you had. If someone had said hello or even ask if we had a question, we might know about the wish list. Like I said I am only one non customer who won't be back. Excellent place to shop. You can literally find anything from a basic tank top to an elaborate wedding gown and *everything* in between. A huge range of sizes, brands, and prices. Shoes, lingerie, exercise clothing, formal, casual, accessories, jewelry, handbags, everything you could possibly want in plus size from 12W up.... The people that work at Two Big Blondes are really quite nice - I've been in many times, and each time, I'd had a great experience. One of the best consignment stores I've ever been in. I went in last Saturday with my daughter as I really needed to update my wardrobe. I've been meaning to try this store FOREVER and finally got my butt into Seattle. I wish I would have visited sooner! Wonderful selection of clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. The other ladies shopping were nice and considerate. The store is laid out really well and very nicely organized. The shirts are organized by color in each size section. The dressing rooms are nice and roomy. And major bonus, there's a fan in each dressing room! No getting sweaty trying on clothes!! I was able to purchase 2 dresses, 6 tops, 2 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shoes, and multiple accessories for a very reasonable price. I had high expectations of Two Big Blondes after reading the reviews here (and elsewhere). So disappointing. When I walked into the store, there were two folks (including the owner) at computers, neither of whom could be bothered to look up and greet/acknowledge my sister and I as we walked in. We looked around, figured out the lay of the land, the current sales, etc. There was one employee that was somewhat helpful. (Well, she tried to be, at least.) However, when I approached her to learn where the fitting room was where she had put my stuff less than two minutes prior, she had no idea who I was, or what I was talking about. I pretty much had to play "Marco Polo" with my sister to figure where she and my clothes were. I was woefully disappointed by the selection (specifically in my size, of course). The day I visited, they had zero summer dresses and no skirts other than 9,000 of the same denim skirt. More than the limited selections, I was appalled by quality of some of the items for sale. Missing buttons, stains, tears and snags were present on many of the garments I tried on. I found one or two decent deals in the sale room, but overall experienced a little sticker shock. (From some of the reviews, I was expecting the prices to be a bit more reasonable, especially considering the season/condition of the garment.) The highlight of my experience at Two Big Blondes came upon checkout. Perhaps you noted the "15% off purchases on first visit" notice above, as I did. Well, disregard that. It doesn't seem to be honored. The employee at the front counter was just as disinterested as she was when I walked in. She did not talk to me at all as she rang up my items, and even after I flashed my out of state driver's license TWICE, it didn't occur to her to ask if I had been there before. I asked her about the discount directly but she ignored me, becoming distracted by removing the sales tax from my total. I just gave up. Bottom line: I like that this place exists and the service it is trying to provide for fat women, but they need to step up their game--increase quality control, try a little customer service every now and again. I'd recommend fat women go (as I am led to believe there aren't many other options in Seattle), but without expectations. If you have the shopping experience that many other Yelpers have had, AWESOME. I would suspect that isn't the standard, though... It's unlikely I'll be back on my return trips. I will be sticking to Savvy Plus in Portland. They do the same thing as Two Big Blondes but they do it oh, so much better!! read more

How have I not reviewed this place already? I love TBB to pieces. It's a really fantastic place to get high quality items at a decent prices. It's important to remember that this isn't a typical chain thrift store, but a well stocked consignment store with more high end and gently used items than you'll find at a thrift store. They have FANTASTIC sales. I've gotten brand name dresses for $5 or less in great condition on sale days. Go check them out! read more

Found my new favorite store! Customer Service = "Fab" Prices & Sale items are the "Hit" You can fill a large dressing room (fan included) with the many options you've chosen to try on...sure not everything you try is right...but I sure did take my time getting through them all...all while the sales ladies help you take the "no's" off your hands...keeping the dressing room nice & neat for the "yes" items. They have a variety of tag colors...so just figure the sales ladies enjoy there job time so the super sale items are pretty much in the correct area. I don't know about the parking situation because I had a friend drop me off ...it was easy to find and when all was said and done, I used a $5 yelp check in discount because it was that easy to want to purchase over $30 worth of clothing & accessories. I haven't left a clothing store this happy in a very long time. I was happy to hand over my grand total of $165 And thank God the uber driver arrived so quickly to wisk me home. But not fast enough that I spent a few more dollars on a bracelet I will wear with a couple things I just bought. read more

I love the layout of the store and the selection of designer clothing however one of the salespeople was very push with me last time I shopped there. I like to browse, match outfits and then get a dressing room. She kept insisting that she place my stuff in the dressing room for me and then proceeded to try to show me outfits she thought were cute none of which I liked. I think salespeople should ask you if you need help and if you say no, they should leave you alone in the store. I don't need someone to pick out clothes for me. read more

I have been shopping a 2BB for years. New, consignment or thrift, it is my favorite place to shop because no matter what I need, I can always find it here. The prices are good and much of what I have gotten here is new. Its not all thrift shop cheap, but its all a good deal.
