Quirky coffee/tea/wine shop melded with vintage type women's clothes. My wife saw it on our walk and wanted to give it a try. It's a very interesting little place. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee or tea, but it looks quite interesting.

We stopped by to check out the vintage selection and grab lattes from Exhibit Coffee, which is located inside the store. I got a matcha latte. It was nice to have something warm to sip on while browsing, but I'd probably skip the coffee next time. I ordered it unsweetened, but it tasted sweet, so either something was off or they got my order wrong. This time we were just browsing, but I'd come back to the Friend Museum to actually shop and try things on. There happened to be a pop-up event with Rebekah J Designs, which was a nice surprise. I tried on several pieces in person and plan to order a couple later this week. One thing I noticed was that the wine selection is kept upstairs in a small room near the front entrance. The room has a full-length window and felt pretty warm, which doesn't seem ideal for storing wine

This place always hosts cute events!

I've wandered into this shop over the years, but holy moly they recently saved my butt! I had been…read moresearching near and far for a top hat for my groom for the last year, and was starting to freak out with only 2 months left. Not only did they talk us through how to measure his head at our home and all the specifications from our weirdly inspired vision of his wedding look, they rushed out and got his custom order made and ready with nearly 2 weeks to spare! They were wonderful, the hat was perfect, and it all worked out magically! Eternally grateful for you all! Thank you!

I bought these shoes, have worn them about 5-6 times in the past year and they're already flaking. And it took forever to get these shoes since I was sold one size 10 and once size 11 shoe. The missing shoe of my size was at the NOLA store. It took over a mo th to get to me and they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and made me drive to Seattle to pick up the shoe. Was willing to forgive and order again. Ordered $500 in shoes and they wanted to charge me $50 for shipping. I constantly emailed them questioning this huge fee with no response. So I took my business elsewhere after a couple of weeks. Then they called me acting like it was a surprise I cancelled the order. If you want any semblance of good customer service and quality products, you're better shopping online at other reputable companies

Seattle Chinatown doesn't have nearly as many non-food shops as it once did. (And there were never…read moremany anyway.) Sun May is one of those tchotchkes, knick-knacks, cutesy, maybe useful, and antique places that words can hardly describe. It is very small but well-stocked nonetheless. Connie is the proprietor who is cheerful to all who enters; her family has kept this shop going for generations. Even though she is open for only two(?) days a week, shoppers just know to come visit. It's almost legendary. Her regular visitors sit on the stool shooting the breeze with her while the rest of us trip on that same stool when it is vacant. It is a habitual thing that we just know will happen. The paper cranes outside and inside commemorate Donnie Chin, whose murder is not yet solved. Though I am not a regular shopper, it is always a pleasure to see what I can discover there. Being the start of lunar new year, Connie had horse themed cute items on hand. We selected a colorful horse and a ceramic ram for next year. Prices are reasonable. Come, shop, or just say a hello, Connie will welcome you.
