Quirky coffee/tea/wine shop melded with vintage type women's clothes. My wife saw it on our walk and wanted to give it a try. It's a very interesting little place. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee or tea, but it looks quite interesting.

We stopped by to check out the vintage selection and grab lattes from Exhibit Coffee, which is located inside the store. I got a matcha latte. It was nice to have something warm to sip on while browsing, but I'd probably skip the coffee next time. I ordered it unsweetened, but it tasted sweet, so either something was off or they got my order wrong. This time we were just browsing, but I'd come back to the Friend Museum to actually shop and try things on. There happened to be a pop-up event with Rebekah J Designs, which was a nice surprise. I tried on several pieces in person and plan to order a couple later this week. One thing I noticed was that the wine selection is kept upstairs in a small room near the front entrance. The room has a full-length window and felt pretty warm, which doesn't seem ideal for storing wine

This place always hosts cute events!

Stopped in here solo for dinner while in town for work. The atmosphere is great, but the service…read morefrom Hailee is what really made the experience! She recommended a Mezcal cocktail that was a great start! Surprising because it wasn't smoky typical to Mezcal, just perfectly balanced. Exactly what I wanted. For my main, I went with the short rib pappardelle. It was incredibly rich, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Hailee was attentive and made me feel welcome at the table, which isn't always the case when you're a party of one. Incredible service and an all-around top-tier meal. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

Sommelier service was disappointing: chose to share a bottle that was listed on the food menu as a good pairing with one of our dishes. Sommelier brought out the bottle, and when told that it did not appear to be what we had requested from the menu, replied that it was. A closer look revealed that it was not the same wine as it was from a different French winery, though it was the same varietal; we should have been told this in the beginning.

Another Pike Place Gem! Wines of Washington Tasting Room is a must try. This is easily one of the…read moremost unique tasting rooms I've been to. Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Pike Place and enjoy wine (or cocktails, or fun, or all of the above) this place is a must. I can almost guarantee it'll become your new favorite spot.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
