Garlic Parmesan Wings.
Cindy Z.

I called in for a pick up order, which was quick and easy. We were 5 minutes late for pick up time, but they were just finishing up the order when we came to pick up. For 4 people, we ordered the 30pcs for $33.75, which is a pretty solid deal. I was able to choose 3 flavors, so we tried the garlic parmesan, Thai chili BBQ, and buffalo gold. Since I wanted to keep the chicken crispy, I got the sauce on the side and pour it into the box to shake up right before consuming. All the flavors were tasty with the Thai chili BBQ and buffalo gold being my favorites. The Buffalo gold isn't really a buffalo flavor, but a Carolina style BBQ. It was hard to describe, but it's yummy. They have huge variety of flavors to choose from, so would love to try the other flavors. Good and cheap wing spot with good variety of flavors. The wings are a bit more on the hard, crispy side, but still great with the sauce. I wish I had more things to dip the sauce on though.

TL; dr - lackluster wings, bland burgers, decent fries Had this spot bookmarked for a while as i initially was impressed by fellow Yelpers' reviews of how delicious the wings are. My personal experience now tells me that some folks either have unreliable taste buds or haven't ever had *actual* delicious wings. We got: - 12 wings, half hot & spicy garlic, half sweet & sour - 2 beef burgers, 1 chicken burger - 3 orders of fries Nearly everything was disappointing. The beef burgers were LACKING flavor in EVERY bite, even with ketchup AND hot sauce added. No depth of salt or seasoning - my Momz couldn't even finish her burger it was so tasteless. Failure. Took a bite of my husband's chicken burger and it was just okay. The wings were nicely fried, but you could tell that they were not pre-seasoned, brined, or marinated - just fried and then tossed in their respective sauces. The sauces added a hint of flavor to the chicken, but as you made your way through, the blandness of the chicken was fully realized. Disappointing. They're not cooking any of the food with love, and it's evident. Fries were decent - crispy, but otherwise unremarkable. A week later and some are still chillin in the fridge, ready to be tossed out. We won't be back - if i'm gonna pay money for greasy food, it better be comforting, tasty, and filling. Twisted wings are not it.

Battered wings with Coco Chile Sauce & laughable disappointing "carrots & celery"
Kunyan X.

3.5 stars to be fair, but only for the battered wings bcus they're pretty good actually: lightly crispy on the outside while smothered with your choice of sauce, tender inside, kinda reminds me of Korean fried chicken in a way...but...(yes everything always comes with a BUT)... - $10 for 7 wings is really bit too much, especially if you want to get the "naked" wings, which from reviews they're just regular wings drenched in sauce, might as well buy a pack of wings and make it at home. - That small tiny bag of prepackaged "carrots & celery" might as well not be there. You serve hot fresh wings, yet the most important complement items are prepackaged, the whole experience is ruined; freshly fried wings and big, fresh crunchy celery together is the way to go, it's the contrast that make you want more. - Bleu cheese: I think this one is also bought from somewhere else, because it's bland & watery af, it's like ranch but slight hint of cheese flavor. - Guy cooking not wearing mask properly: PLEASE, please cover your face when you're cooking. This place is so small and we are in COVID times still. I really don't feel safe when I see cooks and staff in open kitchen like this not wearing masks. Okay ending is: nice touch with all the sauce options, nice non-Asian addition to the neighborhood, glad I finally tried it but probably not again unless there are some promos. Please wear a mask.

sticker still on tomato

I really like the wings here but the burger is not acceptable. The slice of tomato still had the sticker on it and the patty is incredibly dry like cardboard. You can get better quality at McDonald's or Wendy's. Really disappointing for a $13-$14 burger and waste of a meal.

breaded hot and spicy garlic wings
Nian Z.

For the wings, you select how you want them: boneless, breaded, or naked. Then you choose the sauce - it's one sauce per order of wings, so you can't mix the flavors in one batch, but you can pay for added sauce. It's $9 for 7 wings, or $15 for 12 wings. Orders come with pre-packaged carrots and celery, as well as option for bleu cheese or ranch dip. You should definitely try both - LOVED them equally. I normally don't care for bleu cheese but this one was soooo good. Not as pungent, just creamier. Ranch was a light ranch but it didn't lose its flavor Hot & Spicy Garlic Breaded Wings: really recommend this sauce! I wanted to try both breaded and naked, and I'll prob have to stick with breaded in the future. There's very little coating which is great because you'll get that crispy skin that's still coated in sauce. It's a little spicy, very buttery, and quite garlicy. It's more like the spicy garlic butter cajun boils that the actual Cajun Naked Wings were, surprisingly. Very flavorful, and the chicken is so juicy and tender eaten right away Cajun Naked Wings: when I think cajun, I think of a spicy garlic butter cajun sauce, so that assumption is on me. This is the kind of cajun that if you've been to NOLA, you'll recognize immediately - it's a hot sauce, like the ones in the hot sauce bottles that you'll find in New Orlean's gift shops. Personally not a fan just because that kick of flavor isn't something I normally enjoy, but for those who love hot sauce (think like Tabasco, but not) solely drizzled over their wings, this will be for you!

Thai Chili BBQ

After watching a clip of James Corden and Niall Horan eating hot wings, I craved some. This establishment is quite new in the neighborhood. I called beforehand and they had my order ready when I arrived. I brought 7 wings special and the total was $9.98. Thai Chili BBQ was very sweet. I like the wings at The Kettle Black in Bay Ridge more. Twisted Wings is more like take out joint. You don't get the whole eating wings and drinking a cold beer experience. The Kettle Black has a bar and you can watch sport games on their TVs. I don't think I would be going to Twisted Wings often.

Finally got the chance to try it out. Unfortunately it is during covid time, so all orders are Take Out orders. Ordered 2 classic wings (with bones) Twisted Combo (7pcs) comes with fries and drink in: Honey Garlic & Garlic Parmesan sauce. It comes with a small baggie of carrots&celery and salad dressing packet of blue cheese or ranch. Hubby got the garlic parmesan but wasn't a fan. I enjoyed my honey garlic and will try a spicy flavor next time. Fries were okay; ketchup was given in small condiment cup with wet napkins and regular napkins. It was very good but wished we had it when it was more hotter (by the time we arrived home to eat it was room temp to cold).

12 Piece Wings with Thai chile bbq sauce. Lots of sauce, a touch too sweet w a bit of a kick. Wings were solid
Doris C.

I ordered the 12 piece wings; naked with Thai Chile bbq sauce through Grubhub. They order three types of preparation; breaded, boneless or naked. Naked would be typical wing style. When I arrived to pick up, the manager informed me that since I ordered a 12 piece, I could have chosen two sauces but grubhub doesn't give that option. Good to note! The wings are made to order and you get a good amount of sauce for the wings (always a plus). The Thai chile bbq sauce was a bit too sweet for me and had the level of spiciness where you get a slight burn in the mouth but it doesn't travel down. The wings were good. Not super juicy but not dry. Good for the price and freshness. My order also came with two little sealed packs of celery/carrots and two things of ranch. Apparently they also have bleu cheese but ran out that day. Overall will definitely come again.

My mango smoothie duhh

Cheeseburger deluxe special.

Juicy burger, hot French fries with a crispy coating and a cold soda made my day. I was allowed to eat inside and my food was bought to my table. What a pleasant lunch break treat.

I've ordered from here twice, both times quick and tasty! We've tried fire, toxic, hot & spicy garlic, and roasted garlic. All delicious and full of flavor! I mixed my garlic with my toxic and it was even better! We only tried the naked, but that's my favorite type, and I highly recommend. They weren't super crispy, like I prefer, but they were well cooked and delicious. I'm excited to finally find a new wing place since planet wings left bay ridge!

Price in the menu
Jason R.

Ok the wings are good. But holy guacamole talk about the ultimate bait and switch!!! The menu clearly says for a 12 piece meal $18.20. A menu which I picked up from the restaurant 2 weeks ago. I called just now for a delivery and was told the " New " price for a 12 piece meal would be " $28.26" for a 12 piece chicken meal! I thought I was hearing things and asked the phone person to repeat himself. He clearly said the same price and said the price of chicken has gone up. Come on guys! Price gouging is just wrong.

the Rockville Centre location. I got one napkin with these messy wings. Do they even look appetizing ? Terrible

Although it's a South American food spot, with authentic Latin flavors, this joint is owned by a Korean family. They used to live in Peru, Argentina, and more counties in South America before moving to Brooklyn. All of their recipes show their unique family history in South America. From Argentinian styled empanadas to Peruvian styled rotisserie chicken... it's all done really well. So well that people are surprised every time they meet the owners! lol. This is a grab and go place and it gets busy! But there is a little bit of seating in the back if you need to sit and eat there. The staff work really hard to make sure everyone gets their order in a good time. And they are all so nice. I really love their rotisserie chicken and it's paired well with their fries, salad, and even rice. Their potato salad is simply seasoned but realllyyy good; truly nothing over the top with their seasoning for it but somehow it really hits the spot when you eat it with the chicken. I also tried the grilled lemon chicken with the lo mein and loved that too! I didn't finish it all in one sitting so I had that for lunch the next day. Haha. The fried shrimp was also very good. Loved dipping it as well as the chicken, into their house green sauce. The green sauce is crack!!!!! You must get lots of it. Highly recommend visiting this neighborhood staple soon or to order it delivered to your place. :)

We got the 9 piece with their not hot sauce and garlic ginger aioli on the side. The extra sauce was delicious but the wings didn't need it! So crispy, perfectly flavored and not too sweet, good to the last drop. Each one was huge!! You only need 3-4 for a full meal in my opinion. The cornbread was fluffy, the mac was solid too but the wings are really the standout. Pretty reasonably priced too for all the food you're getting. Definitely give it a try!

I ordered the Banh Mi because it was my compelled responsibility as a Vietnamese person but it was a technical stretch. Like all of their other items I tried, the fried chicken itself relies on other ingredients for flavor. I honestly forgot it was there everytime I bit into it. While some of their other chicken items are crunchy, this one gets soft and lost and in the crowd. The bread was not the soft craggly bread that's signature to Banh mis, and that's not so bad, but their bread was a very unique doughier texture. It was even paler. It was an interesting choice. What stood out that technically makes it a Banh mi for me is the pate. It was good and generous enough that I can taste it with every bite. Because I'm dating a Taiwanese woman, I also ordered the popcorn chicken. It was a light coating, not the crunchy craggly kind. Again-- no flavor in the chicken itself. Chicken bits is a more accurate description to me. And finally I order the wings with the cilantro lime sauce. The wing size itself is big and plump. No flavor but the texture was very crispy without feeling greasy. I ate some immediately and had some the next day-- the texture stayed-- minus the parts sitting in the pool of sauce but that's expected. I think the sauce was ok, kind of your standard sweet citrusy glaze. My experience was mid. Maybe it fills a need for the neighborhood.
