Staffs were friendly. Store open up at 11AM ordered Korean corn dogs, Kim classic. Half and half were no additional cost however, if you only want choose or sausage would be charged extra. Drinks: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5

Cheat day!! The store is sandwiched between a glasses store and the face shop, so you could stop in for a quick bite and also grab some face masks for the possible acne after! I ordered their spice lover corn dog with half/half. The exterior has a nice coating of flaming hot Cheeto dust to give it that nice kick. I will say that the first bite was very nice, but the amount of cheese was slightly underwhelming. It had a nice cheese pull, but not very fulfilling. The hotdog they use is your typical beef frank. I do wish that they had used the large franks that are typically used in Korean corn dogs in Manhattan or flushing. Though the flavors were great, it was slightly underwhelming overall. Nonetheless, I appreciate a small shop in my local area that offers this.

The worker was very kind however, the spice lover corn dog was very disappointing. I had high hopes for it but The cheese wasn't melted long enough--just a sad, thin slice stuck on one side. The corn dog felt so empty that the stick was practically falling off. Texture and flavor were completely underwhelming. Honestly, it looked better than it tasted, and I definitely won't be ordering this again.

I really love the corn dogs hear! So good! It's a small place and a small business. The service is amazing, the cashier was so nice! However, they did take a while to make two of my corn dogs. I think it took about 30 minutes? So, if you come, make sure you have nowhere to be!

Came here for a quick bite. I was the only one there and had to wait about 20 mins for one corndog. I ordered the crazy potato half and half. It did not disappoint the outside was perfect soft and crunchy plus sweet I got it rolled in cinnamon sugar. The mozzarella had the perfect melt and hot dog flavor was okay. 10 dollar credit card minimum. Cute decor.

On a weekday evening when there was nobody in the store, it still took hella look to receive one corn dog. I also wish the special prices/ combos plastered on the outside of the store was shown inside too. It'd be more convenient if all the offerings were in one place in the store. I got the spicy cheetos half and half with mustard, and ketchup. They forgot the ketchup but I was already done waiting so I just left. The outside was too bready and chewy- it lacked that crunch that legit korean places have. Beggars can't be choosers tho because korean corn dog are hard to find in Brooklyn. I'd probably still come here again if I was craving it while i'm in Brooklyn.

Craving some Korean corn dogs? Get your fix at Kim's on 8th Ave in Brooklyn! Along with their corn dogs, they offer some great combos that can include drinks, nigiri, and more! I ordered their original corn dog with spicy mayo to try and it hit the spot! They take credit cards. Small counters to "dine in" but otherwise, most people take out.

Always passed by and wanted to try since I like corn dogs and potatoes. I've tried k-dogs elsewhere a long time ago and I don't really recall how I felt about them. I also had $10 to waste on my Uber account so I ordered thru Uber but the upcharge is ‍meh. An extra $1.50 for the crazy potato dog compared to ordering in the store. Took about 10-15 minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered the crazy potato- with half mozzarella and sausage. With ketchup, mustard and spicy mayo. Big mistake. Too many sauces. Don't do it. I didnt remwmber how the actual kpop dogs were recommended but i believe sugar is involved. The crust itself is not bad. Quite crunchy. I enjoyed the sausage more than the mozzarella parts. Overall, probably because of the sauces I picked, it wasn't very satisfying. It was alright. Spicy crabmeat triangle kimbap-it was ok. Nothing special. Literally just rice and spicy crabmeat. Would probably not order this again. Overall, the crazy dog would make a decent snack if u pick the right condiments. Ordering in store is also cheaper than Uber (as with most restaurants). They also have a lunch special- $7.99 for a corn dog and fries available from 11am-2pm.

Not the better corn dogs. It's smaller and less chewy and not crispy. I had the half and half. The cheese was not stringy, and the hot dog was a very inferior dog. The spicy mayo was not spicy. Overall looking at the menu, everything is super expensive. Fries for $3.99 and rice cake was $7? Not going back.

I saw this a few days ago and wanted to give it a try. Kim's Korean corn dogs was having a promo : buy 2 get 1 free. I took that promo and bought 3 for my co workers to try. The wait time was about 10 minutes which wasn't too bad because I've read that others waited 30mins. I chose crispy ramen / half cheese / half sausage with honey mustard. They also sold waffle fries and Korean rice cakes m. I was kind of weirded out because it was just sitting in the front under a lamp. It didn't look that appetizing.. The corn dogs finally finished and I walked back to work. Luckily, I still had a cheese-pull when I ate it. There wasn't any wow factor when I ate it, and also I think I chose a bad sauce to pair with it. I really don't think I'll come back to get another one, I think there's better things to eat in Brooklyn Chinatown.. FYI: they charge you for a bag. Not sure if this is a new thing but I didn't know food establishments charged for bags?

I mainly came here for the corn dogs, which was delicious! The cheese pull was so satisfying too. I was disappointed in the fries and black bean noodles that I got. They were kind of soggy and bland. I would come back for the corn dogs though.

We dropped by before 2pm on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. There were no other customers in the store at the time. Our order consisted of a lunch combo (potato corn dog with mozzarella + waffle fries, $8.49), a potato corn dog with half sausage half mozzarella ($5.99) and sweet potato fries (5.49). I see other reviewers have also experienced a long wait time despite the store not being super busy. It took approximately 15 minutes for us to get our order. Corn dogs and fries were still warm and crispy and the size of the corn dogs were pretty big (generously coated with potatoes). You can choose any sauces you want, but they only give you a light drizzle on top. My half sausage half mozzarella corn dogs was a disappointment. It was hollow where the mozzarella cheese was supposed to be and while you do get a cheese pull, it was barely there. You could see the sausage right away after your first bite into the corn dogs and that says a lot. And for my sister who ordered the fully mozzarella cheese corn dog, it was an even bigger disappointment since it was hollow throughout...her corn dog kept sliding around on the stick because there was nothing holding it there. Felt like we were mostly paying for the corn dog breading. Both their sweet potato fries and waffle fries were decent. (reasonable portion and price). However, I personally prefer sweet potato fries over regular fries which is why we didn't end up with two lunch combos. Their lunch combo is fixed and comes with their waffle fries. I would have gladly paid extra if I had the option to change it to sweet potato fries.

Ordered a combo that came with corndog, ddeokbokki, and fries. They charge 50 cents for a paper bag, which is kinda expensive? Most places I've been to only charge 5 or 10 cents a bag and if it's more than that it's usually a reusable bag. The best part of the combo was the corn dog - I got the spicy one and it was good, tasted like hot cheetos on the outside and wasn't undercooked, as mentioned in some other reviews. Fries were okay but came in a really small portion. The ddeokbokki was terrible. It's just ricecakes and sauce without any other ingredients which I can get pass but if it is going to be just ricecakes and sauce- at least make the sauce good? It tasted like watered down gochujang, and that's it.

Last night we decided it was time she try Korean food, and specifically he wanted to choose a Bib Gourmand restaurant. We booked this reservation the same day, and watched spots get taken as we booked on the website! Street parking wasn't hard to find and we were greeted and seated immediately. We loved the calming atmosphere inside and had a table with a view of everything. After offering us water, we decided on drinks. I ordered the Velvet Reviver, which was described as an espresso martini meets a White Russian. It was delicious and almost like a dessert drink. My boyfriend ordered The Squid & The Whale which grew on all of us, especially paired with our food. To start, we shared the Yache pajun (vegetable scallion pancakes) and the Dukboki fundido (a Mexican inspired spicy, hot, cheesy dip with my favorite chewy Korean rice cakes inside). The scallion pancakes were delicious and had much more texture than once I have tried in the past, paired with a perfect vinegary sauce you can spoon on top. We all loved the dip and it was the perfect amount of spicy and comforting chewiness. I then was recommended a white wine to pair with the appetizer I chose as my entree, the Yeoneo. Each slice of salmon was incredibly fresh, and they were very generous with the amount of row that was served as well. The greens and avocado slices were great as well to add more texture. My boyfriend then ordered a yummy beer and the Daegu jorim. We absolutely adored this dish and noted that the cod had perfect structure to it, that almost mimic that of the deliciously cooked radishes in this dish. His mother ordered the ultimate comfort dish of the night, the Kalbi jjim (with no jalapeños). We were in awe at how the meat fell apart due to how tender it was. If you like melt in your mouth beef and stew like dishes, this is the dish for you. Our food was served with some banchan: amazing kimchi, myeolchi bokkeum (dried anchovies, much more mild than you'd expect), and kongjang (soy beans, also mild and with more chew than a typical edamame you might expect). We absolutely loved our dinner here and how helpful and kind the weight staff was, explaining different dishes and flavors, and clearing and switching out our plates at every turn.

Since I was staying in Brooklyn for work, Haenyeo was an easy choice for a date night dinner. We went on a Thursday evening around 8pm. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately without a wait. The restaurant was fairly busy; if you're planning ahead I would consider making a reservation. We started with an order of the Japchae. Then we ordered the Bibimbop with chicken and the Bulgogi. The Japchae was underwhelming. Not a strong flavor profile, leaned sort of bland. The entrees were much better. The rice in the Bibimbop had a really yummy crispy layer. When all mixed together, it's a great melody of flavors and textures. The Bulgogi was equally enjoyable. Definitely recommend the red spicy sauce it comes with. We shared both entrees among 2 people and felt the portions sizes were decent - neither left hungry. The service was okay. We didn't seem to have a dedicated server. It felt like all the wait staff takes care of everyone simultaneously? Everyone was friendly; there was just a long wait for someone to come for our food order. If you're looking for an authentic experience with Korean food, this may be the spot for you.

As someone who really enjoys KBBQ, I came in with high expectations. The experience ended up being just okay. The biggest letdown was the banchan. The kimchi in particular did not taste fresh, and while I can usually appreciate well-fermented kimchi, this felt past its prime. The rest of the banchan did not stand out either. For the meats, we tried the dry aged ribeye, hanger steak, and non-marinated galbi. The ribeye was underwhelming and a bit too chewy for my liking, especially given the expectations around dry aging. The hanger steak ended up being the most flavorful and tender of the three. The galbi had great marbling and was apparently cut fresh that day, but in a city with strong KBBQ competition, it did not quite stand above the rest. That said, the service really stood out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. If there is one thing I would remember most from this visit, it is the level of care from the team.

Happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised! Almost everything we ordered was delicious! Both Korean Fried Chicken orders had good flavor and great for sharing. I rarely see Soy Ginger as an option (usually it's Soy Garlic) but I like the slight sharpness it added to each bite. The Seafood Pancake was crispy, loaded with seafood, and paired nicely with the ponzu. The Slow Loris Roll was incredible! The rice ratio was just right, there was a good variety of fish and it was all fresh, the avocado and sauces added nice creaminess, and torching the roll was the cherry on top. The Spicy Bulgogi Fried Rice with Cheese was super savory, the sunnyside egg was cooked perfectly, and the portion was solid. I didn't care for the cheese and honestly could've done without and not noticed. It did need something to cut through the richness. I did enjoy the Beef Galbi much more!
