MD Chicken Sandwich Combo Mix & Match 2 Flavor Wings (Original Olive & Snow Cheese) Chicken Party Box
Austin L.

MD has a variety of Korean fried chicken flavors and classic Korean side dishes. I got the Chicken Party Box which had Soy Garlic Drumsticks, Snow Cheese Wings, Original Olive Nuggets, fries, and tater tots. It was a big variety but I wish it had way more tots and fries. The Chicken Sandwich tasted okay. The fries that came with it tasted like chicken too. I think it was fried in the same oil. The Mix & Match 2 Flavor Wings 10pcs (Original Olive & Snow Cheese) were good. I like the snow cheese seasoning. I would pass on the Tteokbokki or Kimchi Fried Rice. Both tasted like they were made in an instant microwave. It wasn't horrible, but I would stick to the fried chicken for sure! Also, if you spend $38+ and leave a review, you can also get a free chicken pillow. Food took around 25 minutes on a Sunday afternoon as they were quite busy. There isn't much seating inside, so it might be best to do takeout.

Finally stopped by this Korean fried chicken spot in 8 Av, Brooklyn. What makes MD Fried Chicken unique from the other kfc spots is definitely their no.1 bestseller -- the 700mm long Chicken Party Box!! The party box includes wings, nuggets, drumsticks (they're HUGE), fries, tater tots and fried tteokbokki. The snow cheese fried chicken burger was delicious. I brought their food to my Christmas party and it won approvals from my fam. My favorite flavors were snow cheese and soy garlic. Worth to mention all their fried chicken are made to order. The wait is around 20-30 minutes. They are currently running some Grand opening promotions. You can get a free boba if you spend over $25, and a free plushie if you spend over $38 and leave a review.

All of the chicken were so crunchy and juicy - even the flavors that were smothered in sauce! The chicken is so tender and slides right off the bones. Even though it's fried chicken, the chicken tastes healthy and is not heavy at all! The soy garlic chicken wings were so savory and delicious - a must try! The original olive chicken was particularly crunchy and juicy! The swicy flavor has just the right amount of kick but is balanced with the sweetness The snow cheese flavor is practically the same as the ones found in South Korea! If you just came back from Korea and are craving their fried chicken, you MUST hit this place up!

Korean flavored fried chicken? I'm there! MD offers original olive flavors, soy garlic, to spicy. The combo meal deals are reasonable. Coming back to try them all!

You just have to get the 700mm-long Chicken Party Box. Such a fun eating experience. People kept asking me about it all day. You'll love the packaging and the food quality, I promise. Whenever I go back, I'm definitely ordering the Chicken Burger again with Spicy sauce. Extremely thick, tender piece and the fried egg is a brilliant addition. Satisfying variety of sauces/flavors to select from. Snow Cheese and Spicy are my favorites. The wait time is relatively long due to cook time and queue, but at least you know they're making it fresh by popular demand.

Small spot but the fried chicken is definitely worth the visit. If you spend over $35+ and u do an online review you can receive a plushie.

The chicken party box was good. They have good flavors. My favorite was the cheese nuggets and tater tots. At the same time I had better chicken. I like how they display the food. The service was cool a little language barrier but we got through it. The place was nice and clean very small ; only enough for 4-5 people to seat n eat if that I like the fact, they gave you a free card to get a juice at a neighbors next door. I appreciate that

A bright bite to come to visit! We went to eat at MD Fried Chicken recently. It was rainy, but their store is a bright pop of color and it catches your eye. I think we could say the same for the food that is served. They have a wide selection of Korean food, snacks, and chicken. However, what I most want to highlight is the MD Chicken Sandwich. It was remarkable! Unlike classic chicken sandwiches, this one is slightly sweet. The texture overall is tender and everything together is balanced. The sandwich is filling, but not heavy. It is perfect, even for a rainy day.

Flavorful Fried Chicken with cute packaging for a box of Chicken. This is an Asian style fried chicken fast-food shop. The seasoning of the Chicken tastes a lot like Taiwanese pop-corn chicken rather than Korean fried chicken. The gimmick is the family combo meal that comes in a long vertical box vs the typical round bucket. The sides of the tater tots tasted crispy, but the Tteokbokki was basically flavorless- maybe the seasoning fell off and just didn't stick to the fried dough. All chicken meat were dark meat- which made it juicy and tender. Overall, a good concept for fast- food fried chicken shop

When my sister and I first stumbled upon 19 El, a little more than 6 months ago, we were drawn in by their bold blue storefront, so when another bright yellow shop popped up right next door, it certainly piqued our interest. MD Fried Chicken is the latest chicken shop on 8th Ave, Brooklyn, serving everything from wings, drumsticks, and nuggets, to fries, tteokbokki, and spicy noodles. The establishment shares the same owner as 19 El next door, and all I can say is that the owner sure knows how to turn heads. The interior (and exterior) is bright, warm, and sunny, with cute decor, and minimal seating by the window. Their soft opening was on February 1st, so when we entered, a few of the staff were still engaged in training. * Chicken Party Box 一米炸鸡盒 $25.99 (2pcs drumsticks, 6pcs wings, 6pcs nuggets, fries, & tots) This is the perfect selection if you want to try a bit of everything, and the box is honestly so cute. You can choose up to 3 sauces, one for the drumsticks, one for the wings, and one for the nuggets. Do note that their chicken is made to order, so the wait can take up to 30 minutes. We were the only customers upon arrival, and got our food in roughly 10 to 15 mins, though there were many in-person and delivery orders after us. - Soy Garlic Wings 蒜味酱油鸡翅 We opted for soy garlic wings, and these were delicious. The balance between sweet and savory was impeccable, though the wings were a tad small and not as crispy as I expected. - Spicy Drumsticks 秘制辣酱鸡腿 These were huge compared to the wings and delivered a delightful kick of spice. The drumsticks were a bit sweet though, so I wonder what's the difference between this and their swicy (sweet spicy) flavor. - Snow Cheese Nuggets 雪花起司鸡块 My favorite, both in terms of flavor and selection. Think tender, juicy boneless chicken, or popcorn chicken (but bigger), covered in rich, creamy cheese powder. - Fries 薯条 - Tots 薯球 Your everyday fries and tots, crispy and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. Ketchup packets provided on the side.

Finally a decent Korean fried chicken joint in Brooklyn near me! I was so excited to stop by and try the chicken. The flavors that stood out was soy garlic and the sweet / spicy. I also surprisingly enjoyed the rice cake dish and I normally don't enjoy those. The kimchi fried rice was also tasty! I also got the large party chicken box and let's talk about all of the goodies in the box. I was so full after! The workers were so nice and helpful with my ordering. The shop is small and it's more of a take out joint. My mom who was with me was also impressed and she's definitely going to come back!

I did take out and so much food. Highly recommend to give it a try. The chicken is very crispy and not oily. I tried the snow cheese, soy garlic and spicy flavors. All very solid choices depending on your preferences

I would say no flavor, as the food to me was tasteless. The chicken was a little dry and the price seemed high for such a small amount

Last night we decided it was time she try Korean food, and specifically he wanted to choose a Bib Gourmand restaurant. We booked this reservation the same day, and watched spots get taken as we booked on the website! Street parking wasn't hard to find and we were greeted and seated immediately. We loved the calming atmosphere inside and had a table with a view of everything. After offering us water, we decided on drinks. I ordered the Velvet Reviver, which was described as an espresso martini meets a White Russian. It was delicious and almost like a dessert drink. My boyfriend ordered The Squid & The Whale which grew on all of us, especially paired with our food. To start, we shared the Yache pajun (vegetable scallion pancakes) and the Dukboki fundido (a Mexican inspired spicy, hot, cheesy dip with my favorite chewy Korean rice cakes inside). The scallion pancakes were delicious and had much more texture than once I have tried in the past, paired with a perfect vinegary sauce you can spoon on top. We all loved the dip and it was the perfect amount of spicy and comforting chewiness. I then was recommended a white wine to pair with the appetizer I chose as my entree, the Yeoneo. Each slice of salmon was incredibly fresh, and they were very generous with the amount of row that was served as well. The greens and avocado slices were great as well to add more texture. My boyfriend then ordered a yummy beer and the Daegu jorim. We absolutely adored this dish and noted that the cod had perfect structure to it, that almost mimic that of the deliciously cooked radishes in this dish. His mother ordered the ultimate comfort dish of the night, the Kalbi jjim (with no jalapeños). We were in awe at how the meat fell apart due to how tender it was. If you like melt in your mouth beef and stew like dishes, this is the dish for you. Our food was served with some banchan: amazing kimchi, myeolchi bokkeum (dried anchovies, much more mild than you'd expect), and kongjang (soy beans, also mild and with more chew than a typical edamame you might expect). We absolutely loved our dinner here and how helpful and kind the weight staff was, explaining different dishes and flavors, and clearing and switching out our plates at every turn.

Since I was staying in Brooklyn for work, Haenyeo was an easy choice for a date night dinner. We went on a Thursday evening around 8pm. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately without a wait. The restaurant was fairly busy; if you're planning ahead I would consider making a reservation. We started with an order of the Japchae. Then we ordered the Bibimbop with chicken and the Bulgogi. The Japchae was underwhelming. Not a strong flavor profile, leaned sort of bland. The entrees were much better. The rice in the Bibimbop had a really yummy crispy layer. When all mixed together, it's a great melody of flavors and textures. The Bulgogi was equally enjoyable. Definitely recommend the red spicy sauce it comes with. We shared both entrees among 2 people and felt the portions sizes were decent - neither left hungry. The service was okay. We didn't seem to have a dedicated server. It felt like all the wait staff takes care of everyone simultaneously? Everyone was friendly; there was just a long wait for someone to come for our food order. If you're looking for an authentic experience with Korean food, this may be the spot for you.

Happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised! Almost everything we ordered was delicious! Both Korean Fried Chicken orders had good flavor and great for sharing. I rarely see Soy Ginger as an option (usually it's Soy Garlic) but I like the slight sharpness it added to each bite. The Seafood Pancake was crispy, loaded with seafood, and paired nicely with the ponzu. The Slow Loris Roll was incredible! The rice ratio was just right, there was a good variety of fish and it was all fresh, the avocado and sauces added nice creaminess, and torching the roll was the cherry on top. The Spicy Bulgogi Fried Rice with Cheese was super savory, the sunnyside egg was cooked perfectly, and the portion was solid. I didn't care for the cheese and honestly could've done without and not noticed. It did need something to cut through the richness. I did enjoy the Beef Galbi much more! It is brought to the table sizzling and smelling amazing. It's savory, sweet, and smoky. I like that it's paired with kimchi & rice making this is complete meal. All in all, I was impressed with everything here! We were also a large party (7 people) yet everything was served correctly and in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend stopping by!
