Solid small business, clean inside and staff is great and welcoming. Ordered a hot dog with mustard which was solid. The true winner though was the smashburger. Ordered it on a Knish as the bun, the Knish was deep fried and spliced open, next time will probably ask them to drop the filling side down on the griddle with a little butter to add a little bite to it. However the cheeseburger was cooked perfect and the pickles were solid on it. Next time will probably try with their sauce and some crispy bacon. Overall highly recommend you get your burger on a Knish and not a regular bun. It costs a little more for the Knish as a bun but 100000000% worth it!!! The double steak burger smash was a 3.5/5. It was not bad for a burger but the meat itself tasted a bit off. I also prefer the buns to be fluffier but it was a good trade off for more toppings. They definitely don't skimp and it was filling. The butcher's prime roast beef w/au jus was a 4/5. I don't usually eat roast beef so I don't have much to compare it to but I would buy it again. They dont have a big area to stay in but the bar stool worked perfectly for us (it was 3 adults and 2 kids! The food was prepared pretty fast and whats best, it was DELICIOUS!! I was waiting for this place to open for the longest time, ever since they put up their sign. After months of wait, I was quite disappointed. I went on a Saturday around lunch time and the place was busy. Ordered the Classic Single Smash Burger ($6.99) and a side of Onion Rings ($4.99). The burger came with a massive amount of thinly shredded lettuce, which made it a little messy to eat. Not flavorful and you definitely need to add some condiments to it. As for the onion rings... please do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER ANY SIDES. The onion rings looked so sad. They were not hot and were soggy, like if they were premade and left sitting for hours. Same for the tater tots, cold and soggy. Skip their sides. Very disappointing. If you really, really want a burger, that should be the only thing I recommend ordering from this place. read more

Not a good burger experience. I expected things to be better, maybe even like a Roll-N-Roaster or on the Brennan and Carr level, and it falls short, way short. The burger is too messy, too salty, and is way too involved. At first I thought I was going to get a great burger in Brooklyn, a feeling of an authentic burger with fries, but instead it felt cheap. Noticing that the bad reviews were the first months of their opening, I see that they got much, much better over the past few months. I recently went with my wife (for the first time) and we couldnt be happier with our order. The burgers, hot dog, tots and chili were delicious!!! The manager (or owner, not sure) also offered a taste of their roast beef which was so tender and also delicious! I'd say, give them a try again or for the first time. I love fried hot dogs, but they're more of a Jersey thing. So when I head that Butcher's Burgers was making them, I had to try them. I got the Jumbo Beef with onions. It costs the same as a Nathan's, but it's twice the size and is more flavorful. I was very hungry when they brought it out to me, so when I took that first bite, I slightly burned the roof of my mouth. Generally, you don't expect food to get to you hot, but this was fresh out of the fryer. That notwithstanding, it was so flavorful that I didn't even think to snap a picture until I was three bites into that behemoth. It was one of the best dogs I've had in Brooklyn. They weren't closed; they were too busy for the diversion of phone orders. I can understand why. Kind people, good thin crispy smashburgers that are meant for stacking. Yay..... Finally have a new breakfast place, and eatery - close to home. The food and atmosphere are so inviting. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Today, went for breakfast and was excited to see lots of people. That's always a good sign. There are counters and stools indoors, and a seating area outdoors- with cute umbrellas. So we've been waiting a while for this place to open! They didn't disappoint. First off they just opened Monday so everyone seems new to this kind of business. I'm sure they were very busy today. The food, I got the roast beef sandwich, two pieces of fried chicken, mac n cheese and an iced tea. My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato tots. The roast beef sandwich is huge, 1/2lb of meat as advertised. Very good, tasty without being over salted. Now the mac and cheese was too salty for us, it was creamy and I wish I could've eaten more of it. Bought the chicken just to try. It was good, crisp and nicely seasoned. I did order a cup of extra gravy and that was forgotten. In all fairness they have to get their feet under them and they'll be fine. Hubs said his grilled chicken was good and so were the tots. Both sandwiches on a keiser roll that was nice and light. There's a lot of meat and a heavy roll would have been a killer. I've got plenty leftovers! Went there on their first day of opening and got 2 Philly cheesteak as it was their Monday special. Oh where can I start... I ordered and the price I was charged was 10.40 when their menu clearly days 9.99. OK so I got jibbed by 0.80, not a great start but not gonna cause a commotion over that. I waited over 25 mins for the sandwich and when I got it, it looked NOTHING like a typical Philly cheesteak. All their photos show it on a hoagie or hero, but it was on a roll! Not to mention the bread was chewy af. That aside, there wasn't any stripes of steak, but instead they just took a burger patty and chopped it up. The closest thing I would say it is, is a chopped cheese sandwich and NOT a Philly cheesteak by any standards. The food is great! Second time eating from here. We ordered for delivery for the first time a classic steak burger smash, a chicken smash, a hot dog, some tots and onion rings. Everything was fresh and delicious and came hot. The service was great, the young man on the phone who took the order was very friendly and made sure to repeat the order and address so everything came correct. Delivery driver was also very friendly. Last week we stopped into the restaurant and both servers there were very nice. The place spotless and atmosphere very welcoming.
