Very romantic ambiance here if you're looking to come in for a date! Dim setting and just a great place to enjoy and have a great evening. Service here was absolutely amazing. Everybody there was super kind and conversational. You could tell that customer service was genuine. Seating may be limited due to certain nights of the week, we came in last night and we had to wait 15-20 minute for a table. We didn't mind waiting because we were able to drink while waiting, hahah. There were alot of wines to choose from by the glass, we had a rose and reisling. They also have a variety to choose from and you can buy from the bottle. Next time we'll have to try the wine flight deck! I liked that everything on the menu was geared towards wine. There were plenty of appetizers and small dishes I wanted to try. So many options! I ordered the steak panini and it was delicious. Perhaps one of the best I've had in a while! While splitting the sandwich the cheese was still in tact and super cheesy. Yummmm. This gem is located in Downtown Fullerton, so parking was a bit of a pain, but nothing a little circling didn't fix. The two of us each grabbed our glass of wine and shared a flatbread and the baked brie. Their menu is minimal, but everything on there sounded so amazing. They also have boards along the bar with their daily specials so make sure to check there. My friend and I were both OBSESSED with the baked brie. I couldn't get enough of the sourdough pieces on the sides and the bread bowl. Cheesy, carby goodness. The few slices of apples on the side were also a great way to palate cleanse. December 12, 2019: Twisted Vine is one of our favorite spots for cheese wine and more! Every time we come here the service is amazing, the staff is attentive, and the food is always 10/10. They've gotten to know who we are and take the time to remember our order. They're always welcoming and just a joy to be around! Today we shared a turkey bacon panini and it was bomb! Great flavor and really good with the tomato bisque. We've come here quite a lot, and we mentioned that we recently got engaged. Scott brought us a free chocolate fondue to celebrate - so thoughtful! I ordered the Short Rib Sandwich, priced at $12. This comes with your choice of a house Arugula salad, Chimichurri pasta salad, or a cup of Tomato Basil Bisque. I chose the Tomato Bisque. Service was nice and friendly. Our waitress was very helpful in answering all of our questions. Food and drink came out fairly quick. No complaints. The Short Rib Sandwich was delicious. The braised beef was nice and tender. The sandwich was decently big. I was happy with the quantity. The tomato soup was on point, seasoned well. With my meal, I enjoyed a Bootlegger's Juicy IPA. It complimented my meal perfectly. My friend ordered the premium red wine flight which was amazing. The wines were truly top notch. I like this place for the ambiance. Not too loud and perfectly dimmed to give it a nice "date" feel. I also love coming here with my girlfriends to unwind after a stressful day of work. Food: A little on the pricey end but pretty good. Baked brie always hits the spot. The artichoke flatbread was pretty good also. The short rib sandwich needed a little more flavor (also comes with a side of salad, soup or basil pasta). I chose the basil pasta which I felt also lacked flavor. We also ordered the Caprese skewers. I don't like cheese so I didn't try it but my friends seem to like it. Drinks: We like the apple beer here but just found out they don't serve it anymore. Sadness! There's instead a pear cider which is similar. I ordered the Moscato and liked it. $10 per glass for the moscato. In addition to the moscato, we also asked for cups of water. When I asked for a straw for my water, the waiter said, we don't have straws. At first I thought he was pulling my leg, but he was dead serious. What kind of food establishment does not carry straws? Hmmph. Parking: We had the hardest time finding parking, it was a Wednesday night around 7pm. Probably circled the lot right behind the restaurant for 20 minutes before we gave up and drove a block over and parked in the structure.
