As far as airport food, it wasn't terrible, but not memorable either. By tomorrow, without this Yelp review, I'd have forgotten it ever existed. If you're a fan of places like Red Robin, Ruby Tuesday, or Applebees, this might be your jam. Again, it wasn't bad, just not good.... but for airport food, it gets an extra star.

This shows we were charged for the sandwich not received and the auto-tip.

We're in the middle of a brutal travel day and my husband ate here before and recommended. We had time before (another) delayed flight so we decided to relax and enjoy a beer and some food, so we started a tab. After we got our beers (we told them we weren't in a hurry) they took our food order about 20 minutes later. But wait! Our tab was closed because "they automatically close after 45 minutes." I ordered the patty melt, husband ordered the pork belly sandwich. After about another 20 minutes the server told us the patty melt was ready but not the pork belly sandwich. My husband said he'd wait. After 5 minutes the story changed. No pork belly at all. So we shared a lukewarm patty melt. Getting a check was a nightmare. No, you cannot look at the physical check, you must give us an email or telephone number so we can text it to you. What if we want to make sure we weren't charged for the sandwich we didn't receive? Too bad. So we relented and provided an email. It took another 20 minutes to get the emailed receipt, (and then it was only for the sandwich, not the beers) and guess what? We were charged for the sandwich we didn't receive. When we asked about it we were told we would have to contact our credit card company. Oh! And even better? They pre-charge you a tip so you can't decline to reward shitty service. The food was awful, the service was third rate, their billing system sucks, and it was an overall disgusting experience on a stressful travel day. When you are at MSP, AVOID Twinburgee unless you really want to accelerate your stress level. If I could give negative stars I would. Ambience sucks, too, cuz you're literally at a gate.

    The "Perfect Burger"

Airport food is always in a different category and honestly I would've gave a 4 star review if I would've known the chips were going to be so burnt lol. The burger was amazing and the bartender Dan was as best as they come for service. Always smiling and keeping the atmosphere positive. I got the "perfect burger" medium rare and again, Minnesota has some quality burgers.

    Cheeseburger subbed with salad

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious my Burger and salad was - especially for airport food. Each table has a charging station and the staff comes around often. One guy saw me contemplating and made a suggestion. Decided for the cheeseburger and subbed the salad. I expected a few sprigs of greens, but I got a separate bowl of bright greens and grape tomatoes lightly dressed in a delicious balsamic vinaigrette. The burger had a ton of flavor and was accompanied with lettuce and tomatoes. Beware - I ordered medium and it was slightly pink (which I prefer). I had a $14 Tito's in a small glass - but that's all airport bars. This was way better than the $14 sandwich made of all bread from the stands!

It's hot in here. HOT. The architects designed the space so the pizza oven's heat overrides the air conditioning - in summer, when we need it. Chairs are connected to the bar, so they cannot be moved or repositioned. My mojito ($14.00) is scary, scary sweet - cloying and nasty. My husband got a Stella, and they only come in one size - 23 ounces ($14.00, I think?) which means the beer will be warm by the time he has finished it. We've ordered shoestring fries ($6.99) and a pita and hummus plate ($13.50). The fries are hot and crispy and come with ketchup in a little ramekin. The pita and hummus is just that: no olives or cucumbers or anything else at all. Still, the pita is warm, and there is A LOT of hummus. It's a little salty, but is topped with a drizzle of olive oil and is pretty tasty. The staff are sweet and helpful. The food we ordered was grotesquely expensive, but fine. We'll never come back.

Decent place to eat at the airport. (Between flights for Delta) I really enjoyed the Mushroom Fondue with bread crisps and my husband had to try the cheese-stuffed Juicy Lucy cheeseburger. He rates the Juicy Lucy VERY GOOD. When in Minnesota, try a Juicy Lucy. Just be warned that the inside cheese is Flaming Hot!!! (temperature)

Their "juicy lucy" -- should someone tell them it's supposed to come with cheese...?
    Kyungeun P.

If you're out of options at the airport, Twinburger will do. The location was far from where we went through security, but we made the trek to Twinburger in search of a juicy lucy [burger]. Their claim to fame is that this location is in collaboration with renowned Matt's Bar. But if you're searching for a juicy lucy with even half the calibre of Matt's Bar, Twinburger will undoubtedly fall very short. Food -- I ordered cheese curds, fries, and of course, a juicy Lucy -- the latter is a Minneapolis staple, a burger with a juicy patty stuffed with melty cheese. The cheese curds and fries were your typical run-of-the-mill. But the juicy Lucy was a sad, Dickensian orphan of a burger. The patty clearly had a cubby in the center of it, perfect size for melty cheese. Yet it barely came with a hint of cheese; it was a quick flicker of cheese, so little that if you blink, you might miss it. To add insult to injury, the burger came with nothing at all -- no toppings, no condiments. Just a patty and buns (though I had ordered onions, lettuce, and mayo via their iPad menu). Service -- there are iPads you can order from, but don't let that convenience fool you. The agonizingly slow service more than makes up for that convenience. The only redeeming factor to Twinburger (hence the bump up from 1 Star to 2 stars) was that the poor line cook working there all by himself was trying the best he could. His work ethic and hospitality earned the extra star.

The inside is beautiful and made for a really nice dining experience. We started with the Eichten's cheese curds, and they were excellent. They were soft on the inside, some had a great cheese pull, and the spicy dipping sauce paired really well with them. I ordered the Flat Iron Frites. The steak was seasoned well, cooked nicely, and didn't have much fat, which I appreciated. The fries were crispy and came with house-made ketchup. I usually don't even like ketchup, but this one was actually really good. My partner ordered the deviled eggs as his appetizer, and he enjoyed them so much he finished them in no time. For dessert, we had the Strawberry Shortcake Crème Brûlée, and it was fantastic. I've never had crème brûlée like that before. It was a unique twist on a classic dessert and ended the meal perfectly. The only small downside was that the complimentary water tasted clean and fresh. But it was warm instead of cold. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a great experience, and I'd happily return. Glad i was able to cross this one off of my list.

It's a restaurant, perhaps reflecting its neighborhood, where people have an occasional beer, but George and the Dragon isn't a drinking hole. That changes the ambiance. The patrons looked well-off, but in that way in which they try hard not to look like they have money. Most of them wore clothes that made them look as if they had just come off the tennis court, or their bike, or after running a five-mile for a great cause. My wife and I still try to look nice when we go out. We don't dress down. Most of the people at George & the Dragon were in their fifties or sixties, including the servers, who were very earnest, if you know what I mean. I'm in my seventies, grew up in NYC, and still try to look hip, and I drink vodka quite often. Maybe that's why I felt uncomfortable. That decade and a half makes a huge difference in how we grew up, and what I experienced in the sixties and seventies. The food was okay, not great. The burger and chicken schnitzel tasted fair to middling. The room was also very loud, filled with exclamations from the tables of "women who lunch," feeling more comfortable with no men at their tables. That's also a demographic and Minneapolis thing. I doubt I'll return to George and The Dragon. I like bars.

I know it's a convention center kitchen behind everything, but should you even be able to charge $46 for a steak if you don't have dedicated table service? We ordered the Steak Frites and a chicken sandwich to save our budget. And the food, frankly, was pretty terrible. We ordered the steak medium, but it came out extra rare.
