Better than average airport food. Veg frittata strangely had almost no veggies. Wheat bread was amazing. Potatoes were 'just OK'. Fruits were fresh and awesome. Food - 3.5/5 Service - 4/5 Ambiance - 4/5

Loved the Italian wine

What an awesome airport find! We had terrific service from a very friendly guy who seemed proud to be working at an airport restaurant, which is not something you see every day. And he has good reason to be proud. This restaurant is acting like it's not at an airport. Everything made in house. Wine selection is nice and not outrageously priced. My tummy really wanted something light, and how wonderful that they make a Sage Chicken Noodle Soup. It was a little saltier than I would have preferred, but just the light meal I was hoping for. Even the small pieces of bread with it were good. Husband loved his Mediterranean flatbread. I tasted it too and it was terrific. If you're in Terminal One at MSP and looking for a tasty way to pass some time, I very much recommend this.

This is a fool proof option to snag a good meal and glass of wine at MSP. Limited menu but consistently good and something for everyone - from pastas to flatbreads and charcuterie. Tables are always clean and friendly service even during peak times. Quite the feat for airport dining.

Hummus

Pleasantly surprised with our dinner during our layover. The service was very friendly, inviting, and quick! We started with the hummus which came with warm pita, carrots, and celery. We really enjoyed it and the portion was perfect for a small plate starter. For my dinner, I had the arugula salad. It was unique but I enjoyed it. The portion was generous and I added chicken for some extra protein. The price was very reasonable for an airport restaurant as well. The wine list looked great but we couldn't drink since we were working. We will stop in again on another MSP layover.

Only came for a drink. Nice they has flights of wine. They are a bit pushy on food, otherwise nice.

Cute place at airport to have a glass of wine and share a flatbread or cheese board This last time the wines were not good at all, seemed like that had been opened for a while and served cold from fridge- ? That said service was very good, The shared cheesecake was actually very tasty

A $15 wine flight in an airport? Unheard of! Not only was it an affordable deal, but the selection was unique and they were delicious! Great way to enjoy the trip and rest the nerves!

Absolutely fabulous food, service in a darling atmosphere! Interesting menu with beautiful food accompaniments. This is not airport food!

Arugula salad with chicken - best food I've ever had at a US airport

One of the better airport restaurants. To the point I didn't even look for a lounge. 3 of us were taking United back home on the same week of the Microsoft debacle that caused a dumpster fire for many travelers. The food here is great- I've gotten their poached egg arugula salad with chicken twice now. A bit much on the dressing amount but otherwise, a fantastic and fresh salad. Also, who doesn't want wine while waiting for their flight, especially have a long work trip week. Service is always good. Our first visit was odd- almost every wine I asked for was not available. Weird for a place that calls itself a wine place and has a wine store.

I came to this place as I was craving red wine, specifically Sangria. Turned out their menu did not have sangria so they offered to make me one. The drink turned out to be a mixed drink that tasted awful and nothing like wine. I asked for a re mixing it and making it less alcohol tasting they tried but it was still awful. I asked to change it with Pinot noir and they agreed. The bill came with extra charge for "the drink he had to pour away". I didn't drink whatever he made at all. I clearly asked for a replacement when I was still charged. I understand they are trying to make money but at least provide satisfying service. I don't recommend this place at all. Very deceptive people with low quality drinks and don't have a wide selection of wines either.

Good, good, excellent service. I was not expecting that at the airport, but I will come here again

Pros: Service is excellent, a small but arrived breakfast menu (can't speak to lunch/supper), at the MSP Airport Cons: Airport prices (/though not bad at all) Details: Due to some flight changes, I had a couple hours to kill. I was heading to a lounge but saw this place and stopped in. The highlight was the Service, specifically Bryan. Super nice and accommodating. It's a somewhat limited menu for breakfast but still a lot of variety. Another plus is they were playing 80s. The place was also super clean and comfortable. Plus, a full bar. Highly recommend.

Most meats you grab with your personal pair of tongs and you can request how well done you would like your piece, other meats they'll place onto your plate. You can request certain cuts of meat if it hasn't come around yet and they'll send it out to you quickly. The buffet area, included with the Churrasco dinner, has a variety of fresh veggies, fruits, and salads. The scalloped potatoes are so cheesy and I liked the cowboy rice too. If you are celebrating a birthday you can get a free dessert, besides the flaming cheesecake. The restaurant is clean and the tables have a decent amount of space between each of them. You can request complimentary dipping sauces, such as chimichurri.

(I'm guessing they were probably short staffed and thus had designated those areas as "unavailable", but the optics are kind of... oof.) My in-laws were visibily flustered over this (which was sort of embarrassing for me), and I think the staff realized they had a "white Boomer" situation on their hands because they decided to seat us right away rather than sticking to the previously disclosed wait time. That said, we waited quite a while while seated for anyone to come by and get us water, let alone ask what we wanted to order... So I think ultimately we waited those 15 minutes regardless. The staff were all rather unresponsive and hasty... the friendliest employee the entire time was the kitchen guy whose only point of contact with us was to give us our food. Now, the saving grace of this experience was in fact the food. I got the chicken pesto pasta and it was AMAZING. Tasted so good (though I wish they'd offered me additional cheese on top), was well prepared, and was sizeable in porportion (I took half of it home to-go). Since ultimately we were there TO EAT, this heavily influences my rating upward. If you eat here, you'll enjoy your meal. But don't expect the staff to really give you much in the way of attention or kindness. Pricing is a little on the high side, but it is a "fancy" dine-in establishment, so perhaps this is to be expected. The ambiance was fine, just not really my thing (you might have guessed this by my desire to go to Rainforest Cafe)-- it's meant to feel upscale and modern or whatever. To me it's unremarkable and ho-hum. But I'm sure for some this makes them feel temporarily rich or something. Bathrooms are clean, but idk who wants to watch ads on a screen while they're at a urinal...

Although I was alone, I sat at a table and enjoyed a wonderful meal of 2 sushi rolls and a glass of Savignon Blanc. Tip: The club lounge is between gates E6 and E8…read more I got upgraded to business class when I flew on an Air Canada flight from MSP (Minneapolis - Saint Paul) to YYZ (Toronto Pearson). It is such a treat to board first or at your leisure, and get a priority tag slapped on your luggage among some of the perks. What I wasn't expecting was complimentary lounge access at the United Club lounge at MSP. I had been to one United Club in EWR (Newark) over a decade ago. I probably have a different perspective from others who have rated this United Club. I am the type who doesn't take such opportunities for granted. I am a seasoned traveller, but I still feel like I'm the newbie who crashes business class now and again. Between the EWR and MSP United lounges, the former is indeed bigger. I remember snacking and making hot chocolate. It doesn't take much to keep me content. However, I like MSP a lot more. Sure, it's small. Size isn't everything. I feel like many are so focused on how large things are. How about quality? How yummy the food is? How nice staff are? This club is between gates E6 and E8. Air Canada and United flights arrive at and depart from concourse E. To get the magical door of this club lounge to open, you press a button on the right side of the wall. Once you are inside, you check in at the desk by scanning your boarding pass. I always feel like I'm a newbie at any lounge. Luckily, the woman at the desk was so friendly. I scanned my boarding pass from my phone. It worked nicely. The woman welcomed me in as if I were a regular. As expected, all lounge seating by the window was taken. I was fine being in front of a TV screen, with the windows to my right. I actually was pleased that the view was so nice. I had charging plugs and USB ports by my comfy seat. I charged my phone, which felt like a luxury. I headed to the food and drink area to see what was there. I came in with a Caribou Coffee sparkling drink, so I didn't bother with drinks at this lounge. However, I did feel like a snack. I got veggie sticks and a turkey sandwich. Both were yummy and hit the spot. I was here on St. Patrick's Day. A woman came by, asking if I wanted a corned beef sandwich and coleslaw. Wow! I said yes. I got them on a little tray with a fork. These two items were even better than what I had just eaten. The sandwich was divine. Maybe it's because I don't indulge in corned beef as much as I used to. I loved the coleslaw. It was crunchy and I'm always a fan of some side salad. I used the washroom before leaving this lounge. It was a single stall and was clean. My flight was to start boarding at 4 pm. Instead, I heard a courtesy call in this lounge that it was the last call for my flight. What?! The good thing was that I was boarding at gate E3, which wasn't far. I also didn't have anyone sitting next to me in my aisle, so I didn't need to make anyone stand up to get to my window seat. I thanked the two women at the club front desk and wished them a great day. I then headed to my gate and heard my last name being called out with two other folks. I had a wonderful experience at this lounge. It had everything that I needed. Staff were friendly. That corned beef sandwich with coleslaw was yummy. (137)

It's a pretty small club so I imagine during busier hours this place is hard to find a seat at. I got there a little after 5 AM so it wasn't bad but an hour and a half later it was full. The food selection was disappointing. Outside of the oatmeal, there weren't any hot food options. Everything else was pre-packaged like the fruit, boiled eggs, and egg salad sandwiches. Snacks to go were limited to chocolate covered espresso beans which is an elevated option, but not being a morning sweets kind of person, variety would've been nice. They did have orange juice, cranberry juice, teas, coffees, water, and lemonade so breakfast wise that worked for me. I did notice that there wasn't a drink fountain so you'd probably order soda from the bar. The bathroom was clean, the WiFi was fast, and the team members were friendly. There weren't any desks or meeting/phone spaces so not the most ideal if you're planning on working while traveling. This airport is pretty nice with amble seating, but I wouldn't pass up on this United Club next time I'm here. However, if you're buying a day pass, I'd probably opt for the Escape Lounge because it's cheaper, bigger, and has hot food available.
