Came here for a date night, I got the Broiled Miso Salmon and one glass of wine and my partner got the Steak Frites and a coke. Our bill was $95! Ouch. The bad: If it were really really good I would be willing to pay for it, but I felt that the flavors in my dish, in salmon, carrot ginger sauce, and cauliflower, were whispering at best. I think the cauliflower could have used a sauce or been crispier, it just seemed boring and soggy. The steak and fries also came out cold :( my partner really knows his steaks and was not impressed, it was over cooked for medium rare and it had clearly been sitting too long. Not worth the $38! The good: The space itself is decorated really well, it's pretty dark but the theme comes together really nicely. I personally enjoyed the indie/pop music they had playing and it wasn't too loud. I really enjoyed the Chardonnay ($16) and they had a decent selection of wine but only a handful were by the glass. You can get glasses of by the bottle wines if you commit to getting at least two glasses though which is good to know. For me, the service really saved this review, our server was so nice and friendly, attentive but not overbearing. I would maybe grab a drink and an appetizer here sometime but will definitely hold out on dinner again until their prices chill or the food gets better. ‍ TLDR: Too expensive for the food quality

We were quite surprised when…read morewe were out near Sunfish to discover they moved about a mile down the street from their original location. No big deal, we followed the signs and located the new location, which is tucked off the road in an odd sort of retail center. Unfortunately, we discovered that the new location shares a space with an Italian cafe or bistro type of restaurant. There is a good amount of wine available, which makes sense I guess. But the beer selection, which used to be among the best-curated and most unique in the area, is now not even worth the stop. The walk-in cooler for beer is a sad, sad state of affairs, especially if you know what the selection used to be like. Certainly, if wine is your thing, I'm sure there's something passable if you need a bottle to go with dinner or take to a party. But if you're looking for beer, move on to a different store. Hit Thomas Liquors or Ale Jail in St. Paul. Sadly, everything that made Sunfish a unique beer lovers' destination is no more. We are truly sad about it. This was one of our favorite hidden gems in the Twin Cities. As an aside, we also were not impressed by the service. When we walked in, a girl rushed up to us and asked if we needed help. I highly suspect she thought we were going to steal something. It did not make us feel welcomed. And then she straight-up lied to us. She told us that most of the beer from the old location had been brought over, which is absolutely not true. I am truly sad to say we will not be back.

It is such a treat to board first or at your leisure, and get a priority tag slapped on your luggage among some of the perks. What I wasn't expecting was complimentary lounge access at the United Club lounge at MSP. I had been to one United Club in EWR (Newark) over a decade ago. I probably have a different perspective from others who have rated this United Club. I am the type who doesn't take such opportunities for granted. I am a seasoned traveller, but I still feel like I'm the newbie who crashes business class now and again. Between the EWR and MSP United lounges, the former is indeed bigger. I remember snacking and making hot chocolate. It doesn't take much to keep me content. However, I like MSP a lot more. Sure, it's small. Size isn't everything. I feel like many are so focused on how large things are. How about quality? How yummy the food is? How nice staff are? This club is between gates E6 and E8. Air Canada and United flights arrive at and depart from concourse E. To get the magical door of this club lounge to open, you press a button on the right side of the wall. Once you are inside, you check in at the desk by scanning your boarding pass. I always feel like I'm a newbie at any lounge. Luckily, the woman at the desk was so friendly. I scanned my boarding pass from my phone. It worked nicely. The woman welcomed me in as if I were a regular. As expected, all lounge seating by the window was taken. I was fine being in front of a TV screen, with the windows to my right. I actually was pleased that the view was so nice. I had charging plugs and USB ports by my comfy seat. I charged my phone, which felt like a luxury. I headed to the food and drink area to see what was there. I came in with a Caribou Coffee sparkling drink, so I didn't bother with drinks at this lounge. However, I did feel like a snack. I got veggie sticks and a turkey sandwich. Both were yummy and hit the spot. I was here on St. Patrick's Day. A woman came by, asking if I wanted a corned beef sandwich and coleslaw. Wow! I said yes. I got them on a little tray with a fork. These two items were even better than what I had just eaten. The sandwich was divine. Maybe it's because I don't indulge in corned beef as much as I used to. I loved the coleslaw. It was crunchy and I'm always a fan of some side salad. I used the washroom before leaving this lounge. It was a single stall and was clean. My flight was to start boarding at 4 pm. Instead, I heard a courtesy call in this lounge that it was the last call for my flight. What?! The good thing was that I was boarding at gate E3, which wasn't far. I also didn't have anyone sitting next to me in my aisle, so I didn't need to make anyone stand up to get to my window seat. I thanked the two women at the club front desk and wished them a great day. I then headed to my gate and heard my last name being called out with two other folks. I had a wonderful experience at this lounge. It had everything that I needed. Staff were friendly. That corned beef sandwich with coleslaw was yummy. (137)

It's a pretty small club so I imagine during busier hours this place is hard to find a seat at. I got there a little after 5 AM so it wasn't bad but an hour and a half later it was full. The food selection was disappointing. Outside of the oatmeal, there weren't any hot food options. Everything else was pre-packaged like the fruit, boiled eggs, and egg salad sandwiches. Snacks to go were limited to chocolate covered espresso beans which is an elevated option, but not being a morning sweets kind of person, variety would've been nice. They did have orange juice, cranberry juice, teas, coffees, water, and lemonade so breakfast wise that worked for me. I did notice that there wasn't a drink fountain so you'd probably order soda from the bar. The bathroom was clean, the WiFi was fast, and the team members were friendly. There weren't any desks or meeting/phone spaces so not the most ideal if you're planning on working while traveling. This airport is pretty nice with amble seating, but I wouldn't pass up on this United Club next time I'm here. However, if you're buying a day pass, I'd probably opt for the Escape Lounge because it's cheaper, bigger, and has hot food available.

I used mine to get an omelette breakfast that exceeded my expectations. Just a really nice, fresh, cheesy omelette. Without that credit it would be overpriced just like everything at the airport, but still that was very yummy. I think that without a card/membership that admits you for free, it is $25 to just come in and use the lounge. There are separate areas to this lounge. One is a bar and restaurant, and there is also a shop with golf-type stuff. Seating is comparable to a family restaurant and it overlooks the central concourse. Then there is the quieter, more lounge-y section. You can get the same food/drinks whichever side you choose. And there are golf simulators! That's not my scene but I imagine golfers will appreciate this option. Seems expensive to me, $40 for a half hour, but maybe that's normal and I just don't like it because I'm not a golfer. But I'm thinking about that omelette and thinking I should return and use my $15 credit toward some lunch or dinner.

The service is always impressively quick and kind and we simply love the atmosphere in the restaurant. We always order the datiles, one of the only dishes we gobbled up before remembering to take a picture because they're so delicious. Tonight we ordered a few menu items that we haven't had before in our 6 years of coming here. We started off with the Pipirrana; the tomato slices were bright and acidic, pairing perfectly with the goat cheese croqueta on top. We also ordered the Borrego and Pinchos de Carne for the first time. The lamb was incredible, perfectly seasoned and served with delicious potatoes and brussel sprouts. The kabobs were also delicious, both the chicken and the sausage were super flavorful and each kabob came with the perfect amount. Our last tapas of the night were the Carne Brava and the coffee flan for dessert. The Carne Brava was absolutely amazing; both the meat and the asparagus were cooked to perfection and had my husband and I fighting for the last bites. The coffee flan was honestly one of the best desserts I've ever had; the flan itself was creamy and custardy and it was served with a delicious whipped cream and a raspberry on top. Rincon 38 is a place we always find ourselves coming back to, and I'm hoping we do again sooner than later :)

Pollo might be one of the juiciest chicken dishes I've had in my entire life. The sauce in Toledo is amazing and not super butter-y! Seating was very small and you can overhear the conversation from other tables. I personally didn't mind it, but if you are looking to have more privacy, I'd recommend sitting at corner tables. I also highly recommend reserving a table instead of a walk-in since they have limited seating. It was packed even on a Tuesday evening. I can't wait to go back again!!!
