The bartender greeted me right away, brought over a menu and water, and explained that the three bartenders working that evening would be helping guests as a team. One bartender handled most of my service, while food runners and other staff assisted as needed. The system worked very well, and I never felt overlooked. I started with the Smoky Peach Old Fashioned, which was very good. CRAVE offers sushi along with a wide variety of other entrées, so I decided to order the spider roll and the chicken bao buns. Both were excellent. The spider roll was fresh and flavorful, and the bao buns were another standout that I would gladly order again. One small detail really impressed me. I had been walking around and staying busy throughout the day, so I went to the restroom to wash my hands and freshen up. When I returned to my table, the bartender had a hot towel waiting for me. I was not expecting that level of hospitality from a restaurant inside a shopping mall, and it made the experience feel much more polished. My water and drinks were consistently refilled, the food arrived quickly, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, I had an excellent experience. (We were raving about the food in the hotel room as well. Couldn't have asked for a better meal!) That level of attentiveness is rare and so appreciated. Beyond that he took the time to engage with us in conversation and made us feel truly cared for. Knowing he has been there for over 25 years speaks volumes and it is clear why. Shaun is exceptional in every sense of the word. I truly hope he receives the recognition and praise he deserves. He made a lasting impression on us and we are so grateful.

The truffle fries (just regular fries with some seasoning on them) and the sweet potato fries were really undercooked and while someone had nicely charred the green beans, they had not bothered to cook them past being raw on the inside. Undercooked seems to have been the theme. I was very grateful that the bartender realized our disappointment and gave us a discount on the bill, but I could never recommend this place to anyone.

I was just staying for the night and wanted to quick meal and so just decided just to take advantage of my hotel credits and instead of indulging in a drink decided to get some food instead. I settled on their smashburger and their chicken BLT sandwich. Both entrees came with a large portion of fries as a side. Price point was $21 for each sandwich. Since I had $30 in hotel credit to use up that not the total down to only about 15 bucks for both after tax. Judging from the fact that I paid $18 for a burger and fries in downtown minneapolis, the price point wasn't much higher. Quality-wise, both sandwiches were very fresh and had high quality ingredients. The portion size was big enough to leave my wife and I both full and satisfied. Would it be worth it to come here and just grab food without the hotel credit? I probably wouldn't but the next time I stay at this hilton, I definitely will make use of the restaurant since the food is good and the hotel credit as a Hilton diamond member makes it very affordable.
