We ordered pizza from here last night while we were staying at Great Wolf Lodge, and it was delivered in half the time that it said it would be delivered in--it was hot and fresh and delicious. The delivery driver was so friendly also! We got a large Triple Pepp, and this was hands-down the winner! So much pepperoni and so much mozzarella-- ooey and gooey! The red sauce was really good, too. We also got a large Bianco, and that one was also good, but it left a little to be desired. We wished there were more sliced tomatoes, but the olive oil garlic sauce with tasty.
Ordered 4 pizzas for takeout. Restaurant had lots of seating. Cute bar area. We tried the 2 triple pepperoni, a nifty Sicilian, and a Mr ganbini. Pizza were large and 4 was more than enough for a family of 5, 3 teenagers and 2 adults. Staff was friendly and offered a beverage since the pizzas weren't ready when I got there. I feel like it was a good value, lots of pizza for the price.
Best pizza around MOA for sure! We got the Hot Honey pizza and a slice of cheese for the little one. She (4yo) fully endorses the cheese slice :). Pizza was very tasty and a little spicy but MN hot. Nice atmosphere, full bar and plenty of seating. Plenty of workers and very clean!
Decent for what it is! Not the best pizza in the world but it is very decent pizza, the ingredients are fresh and the dough is always good and fresh and crispy. It's right down the street from where I live so I can't complain. The sandwiches are not good. I feel as if they use low quality ingredients for them and they just aren't as good as they could be. I also enjoy the wings a lot. A good spot to either visit for a quick snack or to get delivery from out of convenience. Staff is always nice and easy to work with. It'll keep me coming back for sure!
I really love the food here, especially the pizza. It's hard to resist its next-door sibling Hazelwood when you're in this little spot across from the Megamall, but this is a more casual environment than Hazelwood and the pizza isn't even the same as theirs. You order from the counter and they bring it to you at your table when it's ready. Each pizza I've had has been really good; it looks like they have a daily by-the-slice special but I've just been getting full 12" pies. Really nicely put together pizzas. I've also had the East Coast Sub, which is a twist on an Italian, and chicken wings, which were perfectly cooked but the flavor was nothing special. This is high on my list of places to go when I want really good pizza, I definitely recommend.
I was happy to have had a chance to dine here and didn't realize it was A) so close to the mall and B) owned by Hazelwoods. I had initially wanted to eat here the night I got in but I was so exhausted I didn't have the strength. Walking in the place is cute, and they have a decent menu of items to choose from. I wanted pizza but not a whole pizza since I was leaving the next day. They have a fabulous (but limited) selection on a slice of pizza, salad and drink combo for dine in customers only. I went with that and it was only $12?!? amazing. It's fast casual so after I ordered and paid, I sat down at a table nearby. They also have a private brand of pop called Minnie-soda. I love it! I had the lemon lime which is their version of sprite/starry. Very good I must say. The salad was good and I couldn't finish all of it. I did manage to finish the huge slice of pizza I got which was greasy but fairly good. They seem to have good service here, so that was a bonus. I also loved their plates which are dinnerware that looks like paper plates! neat! Overall a great experience and I would recommend dining here.
Cute spot right next to Hazelwood! I love that they sell pizza by the slice and are huge. I also tried the wings which were delicious and very crispy. You are able to dine in or take out. There is a bar and tv as well. Service was speedy and everyone seemed friendly.
We were visiting mall of America and wanted to take a little break from the mall for lunch. We found this spot on Yelp and it was wonderful! It's a really pretty and modern space and they have a great selection of Italian pizza and sandwiches. We got the large margherita pizza and it was delicious and huge!
Came here for dinner. Got the chopped salad and a Hawaiian Pizza. The salad had a lot of different ingredients and was enjoyable. The Pizza was nothing spectacular and I probably would not order it again. I was not impressed with their pizza.
I'm glad we were able to stop here for lunch as it's been on my radar for a long time. The place is nicely decorated, clean, modern, airy. You order at the cashier station and your food is brought out. My meatball sub was very savory, well presented on a fresh hoagie bun. I really appreciated the extra tomato sauce. My sons's cheese pizza slice was also very tasty and generous in size. The desserts didn't look freshly prepared so I passed. Definitely worth a try if you're craving Italian.
Great Meatball Hoagie. Bun was toasted well. Meatballs were moist and flavorful. Love that the sauce is on the side so the bun doesn't get soggy. Dined in their outdoor patio area which was nice. Well Done!
Ordered ahead and it was ready pretty quickly. I went in and let the guy at the counter know I was there to pick up and I was in and out within minutes. There are a couple spots reserved up front just for takeout. I really enjoyed the wings. Lots of sauce on them and juicy inside. The pizza was good - pretty standard. I got bacon on half which was good. Definitely hit the spot!
We ended up here because we tried to get into Hazelwood next door (had a gift card) and it was packed. We were glad it worked out this way so we could try a new place. Our gift card worked here as well so maybe same owners? You sit anywhere and order at the counter. Very casual vibe. Your food and drinks are brought to your table. We started with a Greek salad which was delicious. It was big enough to split. Fresh ingredients and lots of toppings. The dressing was quite good as well. For pizza we chose pepperoni and black olive. Again, lots of toppings. Crust was a bit thicker than thin so hand-tossed-like. Very good. Parking in the nearby ramp is easy. Service was good. Nice stop.

The pizza here was really good. I didn't like that it's one of those places that you stand in line to place your order. You have to get back up every time you want something. They had a mix of tables: high tops and low tops for sitting. I was glad they had Modelo. read more

I got a medium pepperoni pizza and it had a very good taste. Nice sauce, nice cheese, a nice crisp to the pepperoni, and the bread had a nice oily quality (a good thing). I would return and get it again many times. read more

This is an "order at the counter, take your number to your table" kind of place. Not a sit down. The food was very good. Had the margarita pizza and the penne pasta with meatballs. The pizza was standard, the sauce very tasty. The meatballs were really good too! We didn't get dessert as we were so full, but the desserts looked really good as well. It was super busy in a cold and rainy Wednesday night, but we eventually did find a nice table. My only complaint is that the guy who was running food looked and acted liked he despises every person who walks in the door..a mid life gentleman who, when I thanked him, didn't even look at me, much less acknowledge me. Pretty rude. But other than that, I'd recommend it. read more

I travel all over the country. Pizza Novara is one of the best pizza places in America. Their Meatball Pie is the best pizza I've ever had. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Definitely give them a try if you're in the Twin Cities area. You will love it. read more

I was in Minnesota visiting family with a bunch of small kids, so someplace reasonable and plentiful was what we needed. Searching Yelp for a pizza place, I came across reviews for Pizza Novara, and they looked consistently good, so we gave this place a shot. Situated between a bunch of hotels and office buildings, tourists wouldn't find this place. I'm glad I did. First, the Caesar salad was wonderful start. Simply fresh and the house croutons are so light and garlicky. The 20-piece wings are seriously meaty and seasoned well. The Asian plum sauce complements everything nicely--essily my favorite of the sauces. The Mr. Gambini pizza is for meat lover's, and you better truly love meat, because this thing is packed with nothing but. A small pizza can feed two hungry people or three regular appetites. And finally, the meatball penne can look tiny, but it's quite generous of a serving. The garlic bread is delicious, and the Parmesan cap over the meatballs is nicely soft and salty. The restaurant is clean with a lot of outdoor seating and the staff give wonderful service. I didn't try any liquor, but they have an impressive selection of beer, wine, and some harder liquor. read more
Went to take my son Brando, daughter Madison and friend Noah to a wonderful restaurant next door. The wait was long on a Saturday. Pizza Novara was next door. Asked the gentleman at the front if he could save us a table and I would be right back w my kids. He obliged. We ordered a Thai Chicken pizza. It was awesome. Also for Madison we ordered a Gambini and it was great too. Crust was both chewy and not too thick. The sauce on both was fantastic. The chicken was fresh and well seasoned. Service was very good today. Nice staff. read more

I came here one night after work after passing this place a bunch of times! Parking is a bit limited right next to the place due to other popular businesses and a hotel but I didn't have to wait to get a spot. All parking is free. Walking in, the vibe of this place is casual, vibrant and fun. It was busy, which is normally a good indicator that the food it going to be great! The service here fell flat for me and the reason I dropped a star. I was assisted by an older gentleman with glasses. He was very short with me, and really didn't talk. When he walked my food over, he sat it on the table and just walked away. Felt like a very cold transaction. Despite the name, I decided to try items that were not pizza. I got the Buffalo wings, meatballs and cheesy bread. The food: the Buffalo wings were tender and juicy. The Buffalo sauce was a bit sweet and not my favorite. The ranch on the other hand was creamy and had the perfect amount of garlic flavor! Very tasty! The cheesy "bread" tasted more like a flat bread. I typically like a fluffier cheesy bread. It did have a good flavor and a solid amount of cheese tho! The meatballs I feel were the star of the show! Tender, saucy, great flavor! Overall, I'd tell people to give this place a chance! read more
In Minneapolis on business and tight on time, so we decided to stop inside Pizza Novara for lunch. Glad we did and here's why: The employees were super friendly and even offered suggestions on the menu which was appreciated. I opted to go with pasta instead of pizza, although the pizza looked and smelled fantastic. My pasta was great and so were the meatballs that came with it. The garlic bread on the side was also very good. Along with fountain drinks, they also offer a variety of beers and alcohol (bourbon, vodka etc). This restaurant was also kept clean, which is definitely a plus! ZERO COMPLAINTS! If you're in Minneapolis, make it a point to stop by Pizza Novara in Bloomington, trust me, you won't be disappointed. Two thumbs and two toes waaaay up for this restaurant! Happy eating, my foodies! read more

Have you ever been on a cruise and they bring out a fresh pizza? You get excited because It looks so good but it is just bland. This is the same thing. I would give the pizza 2 stars. The restaurant is very nice and clean so it brings it up to a 3 star. read more

Stopped in specifically for grab & go dessert after having dinner at Hazelwood next door. There's quite a bit of choices to pick from. Ranging from soft serve to cake/cheesecake and cookies. As much as I wanted more than one dessert, I went with the flourless chocolate cake. The gal at the counter was friendly and upbeat. The restaurant is cafe style ish. Order at the counter and find a place to sit. There is a bar area. It's bright and decorated nicely. The cheese bread photo on the menu caught my eye as soon as I walked in, I'll have to come back sometime to give it a try. Now back to the flourless chocolate cake review.... My chocolate loving self enjoyed it. It was nice and fudgy (when I went to take a bite it even stuck to the fork!). However, the small piece was a little disappointing to me. read more
Tucked in between two hotels near the airport, this is a great place if you have a kid that's an airplane enthusiast. We enjoyed sitting in the patio watching the planes go by. We ordered the Nifty Sicilian Slicer Combo. The flavor was great throughout the whole slice. Their soda options were pleasantly different and offered a local soda/lemonade selection. The service was great as well. The server made sure we had everything we needed before moving on to the next order which included bring us the Parmesan cheese, red peppers, silverware, and even extra plate. All done with a smile. read more
