This was an amazing addition to my tastiest pizza in Minnesota list! We ordered the Caesar Salad and Meat Lovers pizza. The Caesar was fresh with delicious croutons on it. I especially love their "paper plates", it adds such a fun touch to the experience! Their Meat Lovers pizza is seriously incredible. I could eat the whole thing if I was left to my own devices. The service was 10/10. Our food was brought to us promptly and with forks when we forgot to grab them! Plus the manager stopped by to ask how our food was. Always happy to have a new pizza addition to the neighborhood. They have been here only 3 weeks. Parking is tight but possible on a Sunday morning. Located in the South Loop in Bloomington. It shares the parking with the AC Hotel Bloomington Marriott. Good spot to grab grub if you are staying there. Walk in and it's fresh clean modern appearance is inviting. With bar top, high table, both and table seating your gonna be comfy. The counter service was very kind and helpful with all the minor menu questions. The menu has many promising options I am excited for rigatoni and their cheese steak sandwich lemon bar and a danish but this review will focus on their pepperoni pizza that I actually ordered could be my new favorite. It has a doughy crust almost like a regular crust green mill. It has a perfect balance of sauce and cheese for me. It's a tad on the greasy side but that doesn't scare me. DELICIOUS!!! Slices are cut slimmer when you order the whole pie. Last second I ordered an ice cream cone. Extra creamy for soft serve ice cream. The plates are super cute they look like white paper plates but they're real. The soda machine has some interesting selections. With the options of not only normal but soda water. I live right by the MOA and we stopped in here upon my father's request as my parents were in the mood for pizza. I tried this a few years back when they first opened. I wasn't too impressed the first time - chalk that up to being a pizza snob? Happy to say the pizza was much more tasty and memorable. The wings were okay, but if you're looking for great wings go to Monte Carlo (MPLS) or Burger Dive (St. Paul). Staying in AC Hotel on business, wanted a quick lunch. Pizza Novara is right next door, so what the heck? I order online, food is to be ready in 20 minutes. I walk over to be there after 19 minutes. Poof! Pizza is just coming out of the oven! Terrific service. The counter person offers paper plate-utensils-napkins plus offers small envelopes of Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Tried Pizza Novara for the first time today. I was impressed! I ordered the Slicer Combo. It's come with a gigantic slice of pizza, side salad, and a fountain soda. It was all delicious. When searching for restaurants in the area for my husband and son two weekends ago, I sent them this place based on the reviews. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. You order at the counter, and they provide you a table number if you are dining in. They bring your food out to you. They were attentive and went the extra mile bringing out our food, clearing empty dishes, and making small talk. AMBIANCE: They are located next to another restaurant and by hotels. There is a parking structure with plenty of parking - at least when we went. The inside of the restaurant is bright and clean. There is also seating outside. Omg! I absolutely love Pizza Novara! From the amazing pizza to the service. At one point I was coming here so much that I would speak to the staff there they really are super great, kind, and work hard. Also the large pepperoni pizza and mushrooms is to die for! I can not get enough of it! I really like their raspberry chocolate cheese cake I just wish the crust was something different but aside from that it's good. And if you want to avoid crowds because it can get a bit busy and loud in there then pick up is the way to go or before the evening and weekend rush. We chose to eat here because we were going to a movie at MOA. We avoid eating at the mall. I'd also read the reviews and felt that it was well worth taking a chance on it. Well, all of the good things said about this place is well deserved. We got: Roasted Meatballs, Garlic Cheese Bread and the Red, White, & Blue Pizza. Stellar is all that I can say. Just stellar. The crust has East Coast and New York written all over it, and I am here for it. It's got a nice bite without being too chewy. The sauce perfectly bakes into the crust and is the perfect vehicle for the toppings. Everything was balanced, delicious, and soul satisfying. The meatballs are difficult to share because their deliciousness brings out selfishness and greed. We may order one for each of us the next time we come. The meatballs are PERFECT. We ended the meal with ice cream. We got: Affogato, Caramel & Nuts, and Almond Hot Honey. The cups are filled to the brim with cool delectableness that makes it difficult for one to use restraint. Needed an easy close place to our hotel to grab dinner before an early a.m. flight. The chopped salad and Novara Deluxe pizza was absolutely delicious. The salad was great from first bite to last. I saw Pizza Novara on a list of spots for a slice of pizza for lunch. The reviews looked good. I stopped in and chose from the 4 or 5 pizzas up for lunch. A margherita and a pepperoni. Both slices were reheated in the oven and came to the table piping hot. I found the sauce a bit too sweet for my taste and the crust was pretty typical pizza crust. Nothing to get too excited about. I'm from NYC and pizza is not something to mess with. While the rest of MN seems to have their odd way of making it (toppings under cheese), this place is legit! A slice and a drink was all I ate and it was all I needed. I was impressed with the temperature, the ingredients, and it did taste like NY pizza. Great location, nice seatings, and a decent atmosphere. The manager came around often always asking how things were going so the service is impressive. I had some friends in town that were staying at the hotel next door. Hazelwood, which is right next door, is a good place, however we were in the mood for pizza, so we elected to try Pizza Novara. Turns out it was a great choice! We ordered a large deluxe, some garlic bread which was really more like pizza fries and an order of wings. The deluxe pizza was really good! Love that their onions and vegetables are shaved so they caramelize when the pizza is baked. The pizza crust was also really good. Almost has a sourdough dough flavor while still being crispy. Really nice. The wings state that they are marinated for 24 hours. We tried the BBQ wings. The wings were solid. Meaty and flavorful. Not sure that we could tell the difference between a wing that was marinated or not marinated, however still a decent wing. The clear winner from our order was the garlic bread. Again we felt these were more like pizza fries however when they make something that tastes that great, they can call it whatever they want! Fresh mozzarella, and rich and creamy garlic butter. It's almost shameful to dip them in the provided marinara sauce. We could eat those anytime! Pizza Novara also has sandwiches and entrees that also look really good. We were looking forward to trying this pizza while in town. Ordering online was easy and they got it to us super fast! However, the quality and taste of the food is underwhelming. There's nothing special and the cheese bread barely has flavor. The wings have a buffalo sauce that has an interesting smoky flavor. But the seem like they were over crispy as if they had been dropped again to heat them back up which made them incredibly tough to eat. The pizza and garlic bread also had a chewy texture to the crusts. We are pizza lovers but this one isn't one we would be willing to try again. Hot lunch date with my partner to check out this new east side Bloomington Pizzaria. For a Thursday, the place wasn't too busy for lunch. We were able to order right away. We shared an order of buffalo wings to start, which were meaty and delicious. A generous amount of wings and dummies, enough to bring some home for snacks later. The Italian Chopped salad was enough for a meal, my partner said. I tried the meat lover pizza, the Mr. Gambini. It has pepperoni, sausage, bacon, capicola, and their house red sauce. The crust was good, and the medium size was perfect to have a few slices to bring home for left overs. The waitstaff was polite, checked in with us once and ensured we had boxes to take our left overs home. Overall, the food was above expectations, as was the price by a bit. The pizza and penne with meatballs were delicious! The prices are a bit escalated for portion size but since it tasted so good; it wasn't that big of a deal. Knocking one star off because when we went to pick up our food, the man helping us at the counter had a really grumpy face and literally said nothing to me. I asked for paper plates and silverware because we are from out of town and he sighed like he was annoyed that I was asking for it. Sorry that I didn't want to eat pasta with my hands. I personally think the wings are better than the pizza, and that is not to say the pizza was bad.... It was good, and especially if someone were to suggest another trip here, I would definitely be back. The buffalo Sauce had a unique flavor to it that I can't put my finger on to compare it to anything else in particular, but it wasn't the typical Buffalo Hot Sauce flavor. It took me off guard the first wing or two, but after knowing what to expect, I like it better than most Buffalo sauces!
