Overall great experience. My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) visited here for dinner on our trip to Niagara Falls in July 2019. Walked into the restaurant with no wait, seated immediately (went later on a Thursday night). Service was great, fast, and friendly. The food was really, really good. I had the fish tacos, which were full of flavor and super juicy! They definitely give you a good-sized​ portion of food. It was a bit pricey, but honestly, for how touristy and expensive the falls area is, it's a good option. The menu is super diverse; there's something for everyone, even the picky eaters. We attended as a group of 10 for my daughters birthday recently. Kira was our server. She was so accommodating and added to my daughters celebration experience. The food portion sizes were large enough to eat half and save half for later. Each member of our party LOVED everything we ordered from appetizers, drinks and main course. We gave this new-ish restaurant a try while visiting Niagara Falls, due to the generally good reviews for this place. The gist of it is that this place offers high prices for below average food -- think Friday's or Applebee's, but with a much higher price tag. On a positive note, the service was very good, and our waitress did what she could to make the experience positive on her end. The burger I ordered (they won't do it any less than medium-well) was so overdone that it was totally dry, and lacked any real flavor. Their bison meatloaf was the same -- dry, overcooked, and flavorless. The poutine had good flavor, but their fries tasted like the frozen ones you would get from the supermarket, and were a big let down. read more

I walked over for a late lunch during an unexpected overnight at Niagra . 3pm. Place has a few tables filled . I ordered a cup of coffee and a half rack of ribs with cold slaw and fries . The coffee was cold . The waitress ( young blond and on top of the situation) she took it back and made me a fresh cup . My lunch came and the ribs were also not hot . Super satisfied with our visit! Ate here a couple of nights ago while staying in the area and the food is great at a pretty reasonable price. The prices in this area are a little steep so this place was a nice break to our wallets. The food was very fresh and delicious too! We were so happy we found Turtle Jack's. It was right across the street from our hotel. We had heard that dining options in Niagara are really not that great. Turtle Jack's is great! The food was well prepared, fresh, and tasty. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was chill. Our family felt very comfortable eating there. We happen to be staying across the street at the Marriott. This restaurant was recommended to us by one of the hotel valets. We enjoyed it so much the first time we went back for a second time. The second time we requested our waiter from the first time, Gerald. The food was absolutely amazing. He even remembered our drinks from the first time we went. He was very laid-back and let us enjoy our time there. The first night we had nachos and a burger. Both were delicious. The second night we had wings, baked onion soup and seafood Alfredo. Visited Turtle Jack's on a trip to Niagara Falls with my fiancé. We ordered the fried pickle spears for an appetizer, which were good. I ordered the blackened chicken on naan which was great. My fiancé ordered the chicken fajita wrap which was bland and basically a burrito with a ton of rice. Drinks were average. We had lunch here on a rainy afternoon. Surprisingly, our party of three were the only customers! Covid restrictions were in place which included verification of our vaccines. Our first time going to Turtle jacks for breakfast and the food was amazing. My husband and I were hanging trouble finding places in ON that had great food. We noticed a lot of restaurants in the hotels are expensive and underwhelming in flavor. We were very disappointed until we read reviews on Turtle Jacks and decided to go by for breakfast fast. I was visited 6 months ago with my wife and had a terrible experience. Server (from the bar) clearly forgot to add whiskey to whiskey sour. I ordered another one to compare and one could clearly tell. Mistakes happen and I was being polite. Server did not accept the mistake or offer any solution. I let it go but the server proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the evening. She did not come to our table for 30 mins to get our food order and we decided to leave early. We sat down around 6:45p on a Saturday night. It wasn't overly busy, it took quite a while to have the waiter even come to the table, additionally we waited another 10 mins for drinks. Then 45 mins more for dinner to come out. The fish tacos were way too spicy. The baked potatoes with the steak was also over cooked. The salmon was over cooked. We had a really nice family dinner here. We started with fried pickles which were tangy and delicious. Entrée orders included the shrimp and sea scallop fettuccini which was creamy and quite delicious. The pineapple mango salmon was good. The salmon was cooked perfect and tasted oh so fresh. The greens beans were crisp and delicious and the rice was flavorful. I would have liked a little bit of sauce of some sort, but overall the dish tasted great and was healthy. The hell-of-a-burger was tasty and cooked just right. The bison meatloaf was fantastic. Full of flavor and loaded with the shoestring onions. The mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious as well. What we don't recommend is the dessert of muskookie. It's a half cookie half brownie concoction that's hard and dry, not served warm, just on top of some chocolate drizzles on the plate. No one was impressed with that. But the servers were great, attentive and friendly. Overall it was a great place to go for dinner. read more
