I had a fabulous brunch here with my daughter a few weeks ago. We both had egg dishes which were delicious, and the service was absolutely impeccable. The place was pretty packed on a Wednesday around 11 which was surprising to me - I just happened to have the day off work. I guess maybe everyone else did too? Anyway, they are definitely doing a good business there right from the start. I am looking forward to going there again sometime. Might be a good excuse to take another day off work soon! read more

Above average food. Below-average service. It's been exciting to see all the new shops and restaurants form at the Granite Run Promenade. When I heard a brunch place was opening, I was really excited. Visited for breakfast and the food was outstanding. Very unique menu and lots of options. A little bit on the pricey side for breakfast though. Our server was unfriendly. She made no efforts to be helpful or be friendly. Just took our order and that was it. Love the Turning Point !! I probably go once a month ! The best servers are Breanna and Amanda ! Although I always get them confused. Today I had a new guy he did a great job ! Not sure how to spell his name Jaiver ? I ordered my favorite Avocado Smash benny with an Ice Tea ! Don't forget to ask for simple syrup for your ice tea. Today as I was leaving I commented to my friend about the cute avocado socks they sell ! When I got outside the manager came running after me and handed me the socks ! What a surprise ! Ashley took care of us today when we did brunch at Turning Point and all I can say was WOW. Ashley was literally the only person working, serving us, cooking the food, EVERYTHING. It was unbelievable. She handled everything with a smile on her face and hustled beyond belief to provide a great experience. We appreciated her positive attitude despite the conditions she was handed. The restaurant has a nice outdoor space with heaters which is great for social distancing/outdoor dining even in these chillier temperatures. The food was phenomenal. Really enjoy this place. The menu is large that will cater to any adventurous or picky eaters. The service is always really nice. And, best of all, there is free parking with plenty of it too. I've had both of their breakfast and lunch here and it was always great. Last time coming here, I had the cubano. Mmmm! The bread was crispy, there was just the right amount of mustard, and the meats tasted fresh. Their specialty coffees/espressos are way too sweet for me here. If you are big on very sugary drinks, definitely order one. If not, I recommend just sticking to the black coffees. Even my kids hot chocolate was way sweet. My husband and I went to the Media,PA location for breakfast. It was a bit crowded, was seated right away, but had to wait for 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order.So I went and asked a server from another section to take the order who was very nice about it. Apparently our original server conveniently forget that we were in her section, but proceeded to take orders from a table that was seated 10 minutes after us. Will come back for the food. I've driven by here a few times. I kept wanting to try it. So, we stopped by on Sunday to try it out. Even in the midst of COVID, the service was polite and quick, the food was tasty. It had a bit of a personalized feel to the prep of the food. We also ordered the bacon lollipops. They weren't horrible, but what we expected and got were two totally different things. Like I said not horrible, just not for us. We enjoyed our time there. I did feel the prices were slightly higher than I'd like to pay for a breakfast, but not a complete dealbreaker. Now I will say that the food didn't 100% agree with my wife or my stomachs, later on that day. That's the only reason the rating isn't higher. (It may have been the bacon lollipops.) But, all in all, I'd be willing to go back at least one more time, to try out the food, minus the bacon lollipops. read more

The Granite Run area really needed a solid breakfast place, and Turning Point delivers. The atmosphere is very cute and cozy. Perfect for taking your mom and the baby to lunch. It's a little loud but other than that it's a very cozy little spot. The wait is always long, so definitely use your Yelp "join the waitlist" option. It's usually about a 15 minute wait but it's worth it. The food here is really, really good. The portion is great, the quality is great and it's very consistent. I really don't have a negative word about their menu. The only negative I have to say about Turning Point is that it's pricey. It's a nicer atmosphere than a diner, so you're going to expect to pay a bit more for your meal. It's not outrageously priced but it's more than you would typically pay for breakfast. A friend and I ate breakfast here and arrived just after opening. Unlike the Newtown Square location, the folk here were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and lunch menus are almost overwhelming and there are two pages devoted to drinks. We opted for the regular coffee which was very good. I ordered the brioche French toast. The bread was not very brioche-y so I would rate it as ok. Service was friendly and polite. Go for the service and an acceptable meal but nothing with a wow factor. read more

Really a lovely time on a busy President's Day weekend Sunday morning. We utilized the online reservation system through Yelp, and were quoted both a check-in time at the restaurant and a time we would be seated. Our party of four arrived to check-in on time and was seated within a few minutes of the quoted time - well done! Super easy and intuitive. Our service was top notch throughout, and everyone we dealt with was lovely and quick to please. The french press coffee was delicious, and lived up to the fancy reputation. Several choices looked good and I was glad to follow a recommendation. I also enjoyed the peanut butter hot chocolate, which was decadent and delicious. Really a treat! Our table enjoyed both the pancakes and the french toast, with a side of bacon and sausage, and the kids had zero complaints. We also had the cinnamon swirl pancakes, which were massive and delicious, and I loved the amazing juevos rancheros. Really a triumph - great flavor, filling, pretty much perfect. Really great breakfast spot! I consider myself an avid pancake eater. Every time I go to a place with more than the basic pancake add-ins, I always wish I could get all the flavors they offer. At Turning Point, you can! They offer a "flight of pancakes" (pictured with this review). This allows you to choose up to 3 different styles of pancakes. I got the Bourbon Banana, Berry Chocolate, and Cinnamon Bun-which were the best! Aside from the food, the staff was friendly, the vibe was great and modern! They even offer outdoor seating, which I am a sucker for. They give you a pitcher of water and pot of coffee for each table, making it so much easier to refill your glasses and your own command. Turning Point was my go to spot for awhile. I would take my daughter to breakfast weekly band this was our spot. However, lately the service has been horrible. I don't know if it's just my server because I seem to get the same one each time I go (Cameron) as she is so rude. It took her about 15 minutes to come to our table when she got there she literally asked us "what do you want?" Which took me by surprise. We are not rude or mean patrons, but she just always seem to rather be somewhere else. Hopefully, her attitude will change. Ordered take out using Uber Eats. I will never order take out from them ever again. Food is great when you eat there on site but that's it. I didn't get everything I ordered. I ordered the Grande Huevos Rancheros and I ended up throwing it out. When I opened the container, it was just a tortilla filled with potatoes and one slice of avocado that still had the skin on it. I did not get the eggs, salsa, or sour cream that should've came with it. I also ordered pancakes for my son. Each pancake was shoved in a small individual container, and they were burnt. Trying to support businesses during this pandemic and it just would've been easier and cheaper to make at home myself. Very disappointed.
