I really wanted to like this place. Their specialty drinks range from really good to really awful. Their Cadbury Creme Egg Latte that they offered around Easter was phenomenal! I wish every drink they served was like that. Their regular coffee is bland and watery tasting. I tried a few different roasts and they were all the same. The pastries they offer are fine. The nail in the coffin is the $5 minimum fee for using a credit card. Sometimes you just want to buy a simple coffee without having to tack on extras, and who uses cash in this day and age? Oh well. My daughter and I love Ocean City Coffee. Their matcha is creamy and delicious, and they always have seasonal, specialty drinks that are quite popular. They also have a variety of hot coffees available. I especially love stopping in to buy their coffee beans. I was surprised when Ally asked me what type of coffee maker I have and ground the beans specifically for that type of machine. She even asked if I would be making the coffee right away as she said she could seal the bag up until I was ready to make it. I came to OCC with a friend for some afternoon lattes. I was shocked at how crowded it was but apparently lots of other people needed a 2pm pick-me-up. Since there were no seats inside, we walked to the back of the café and found they have a deck with lots of patio furniture. It was sunny and beautiful so we just sat outside and pretended we were at the shore. The ambiance definitely helped us achieve those vibes. Coffee was fine, but nothing spectacular. We stopped after an airport run before we left PA. I got a large iced latte which I was told had four shots in it, but was still surprisingly not that strong. There was also not enough ice so the bottom of the cup was still warm and the ice melted too quickly. Others in my group got hot flavored lattes (Cinnabon and cinnamon). This is the best tribute I can give a place. I tried them for the first time yesterday afternoon. I've since felt the need to come back twice. Once again this morning for breakfast. Again for an afternoon coffee and a pound of beans to take home. Something had hit me. It's not often I'm immediately compelled to come back to a place this often. The coffee I've had is perfect so far. Every baked good has been delectable. I appreciate that they have a grill for fresh breakfast sandwiches. The space is comfortable to hang out in. I was actually surprised at how many great reviews this place had. We love dark coffee but we got the cold brew and it kind of tasted like sludge ? I don't know, the texture and flavor was off and it was pretty expensive for a cold brew. I think there's a lot of better coffee places in the area. read more

The owners of this location (Media, PA) ABUSE Instacart shoppers to help run their store. 90% reduction in tip to deliver Swiss Miss to them for YOU to buy. Swiss Miss!!!! That's the hot chocolate you are paying $4 or more for. They BOTH tip bait and give awful tips. For example... they promised a $10 tip for their Swiss Miss shop & deliver (this bumps them up and helps them get their delivery faster).... after delivery... they reduced the tip to $1... that's tip baiting and totally screws the delivery person... no issues... got exactly what they ordered. Just a game to use and abuse shoppers. Another order was 18 gallons... YES, you read that right... 18 gallons of milk delivered for a $4 tip!!!! That's insane. Not only do shoppers have to go to the store, find their products, check out, and load into a car... they then have to find parking on State Street in Media (if you live in Media you know... if you don't, then just imagine... not easy and must pay for parking or risk a ticket) and lug everything in for them!!!! No thanks no appreciation. Would have to pay an employee their hourly wage to do this. INSTEAD they use Instacart and take advantage of shoppers who are lucky if they make minimum wage providing this service. Do NOT support these PARASITE owners. Instcart shoppers BEWARE... if your delivery is to a business address on State street with the name Russ.... DON"T BOTHER... you will get screwed. Great place for a coffee or latte right on State Street. I enjoyed an iced latte with toasted marshmallow (recommended by the barista, which was much appreciated). My husband enjoyed his blueberry coffee - he's normally a plain coffee guy but wanted something different and was really happy with his choice. This place is just okay. The Cold brew is too concentrated -- so much so that we ended up having to toss them out.

People are raving about this - but my experience was just OK. I spend nearly $5.50 for a large iced latte (more than Charbucks) and it was warm. Not enough ice. The line was long and moved very slowly. This is not a place to come for "commuter coffee" - it is way more leisurely. The ladies working up front were friendly and kind but moved oh-so slowly. During the summers months, I frequent Ocean City Coffee Company's shop down the shore. I stock up on their beans because the blends are always balenced, smooth, and not too acidic. When I heard they were opening a location in Media, I was thrilled. I visited just a few days after their grand opening, and was very pleased with my experience. The layout is similar to the OCNJ shops; there is a lovely beachy feel in the store. There was a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as wifi & available outlets. The Media store was very clean and the staff was welcoming. Service was quick, which was impressive being that they were very busy. At one point, a wasp got into the shop and within moments, an employee came over to my table to guide it outside. The coffees are the same beach-roasted blends they use in Jersey too! I've been to their locations in Media and Ocean City and the Media one is soooo much better. Their staff is faster, more knowledgeable, and more responsive in general. I always look forward to their specials because this board is usually the source of my newest beverage obsession. Not to disappoint, last time I got the pumpkin spice hot chocolate latte and it rocked my taste buds. I even requested less chocolate because I'm not a huge chocolate person and the barista subbed out the hot chocolate powder for dark chocolate syrup. Holy moly was that amazing!! We originally discovered this coffee shop on the Ocean City boardwalk in NJ. It's been one of our favorites and we always ordered the coffee online since we didn't have a shop close. Recently they opened one in Media. We finally visited this weekend and it was a great experience! The delicious coffee smell hits you immediately when walking into the shop. They have coffee, tshirts, and mugs on the wall for sale. They also make coffee, lattes, hot chocolate, smoothies, etc there. I mixed the latte flavors for a banana macadamia nut latte...and it was so good! The service was very friendly too. Someone in my group dropped the hot chocolate outside by the car, and they replaced it for free! So kind of them! We'll definitely be back! read more

I had signed up for the rewards program because I figured that I would eventually try the Media location. I decided to treat myself to a iced nonfat peanut butter latte and I knew that if that's what I wanted, I needed to visit Media. The location has a clean, cozy atmosphere and I was happy to find that the drink that I enjoyed down the shore was still an option, as well as various other flavors. I was able to use my rewards to take $1.00 off my large drink and sat at a window table to people watch.
