This one is, without any doubt, the WORST I've ever had. They started off great and got my pool back to blue after the last company let it just turn green. After a few weeks, however, they quit caring and my pool has been green for weeks (maybe even a couple of months). When I inquired about it, they claimed it was because of all of the plants around the pool. My backyard is landscaped but there's nothing about it that would cause it to turn green. It turned green, in my opinion, because they didn't want to spend the money necessary to keep it blue. Ultimately, I had to fire them because their pool tech started yelling at my housekeeper and got extremely aggressive. He even made veiled threats to me. I will get the money they required that I pay them in advance even if I have to sue them. My advice: DO NOT LET THEM ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR POOL. If I could give less than 1 star, I would give them a negative 5 star rating.

I ran through a litany of technicians as ASP struggled to find reliable help, which is a common problem most businesses have. I have been contemplating dropping ASP for months now as their efforts to keep my pool clean on a bi-weekly schedule were increasingly easy as my wife and I shouldered the heavy lift by daily maintenance and adding chemicals as required. The final straw was over the last visit in which chemicals were not added when three tests confirmed that I was out of chlorine, and a lack of a prompt response. This was due to the company getting large enough that the owner can't keep up with customers texting him directly, which I had. So all in all, a simple misunderstanding, however we are leaving due to a lack of need for this service, not due to the service which I have always found satisfactory. I would/ will return to ASP should the pool care become more than I can provide.

After contacting 3 other pool service companies, the soonest we could get a service call was 1 to 2 weeks out and one wanted a $150 fee just to come out. Just when we started to despair, we found Clearly Texas Pool Service and spoke to Travis who said he could make it to our place the next day. Considering the response timelines from the other companies, I was a little skeptical that this would actually happen. Sure enough, Travis showed up within the time window promised and quickly resolved the issue. Additionally, Travis took time to give these first time pool owners some helpful information on how to properly maintain chemistry that we did not get with our initial "pool school". He could have kept all this a mystery in hopes of securing a service contract, but instead he showed us how to do it ourselves. This speaks volumes of Travis's honesty and integrity. Makes up excuses for why they wont honor warrintee on parts that were not approved to be replaced in the first place. Too shady for me so we fired them!
