Tucker's is one of my favorite restaurants, hands down. Their entire menu is excellent and reasonably priced. Their seasonal menus are always delicious and offer something special you can't get anywhere else. Whether it's for breakfast or lunch, I adore Tucker's. During COVID, especially when they were offering pickup for locally sourced grocery items, I frequented them a lot. The Hooksett location is particularly convenient with its drive-thru, but I have been to Concord and Dover as well and always been satisfied. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. There has sometimes been a longer wait for a table, but that's been better since they implemented their call ahead system, and either way, it's always been worth the wait! My favorites include seasonal french toast, pancake, and waffle options (especially the French toast flight!) and the Cape Cranberry Chicken sandwich. I always ask for gift cards here on holidays and birthdays, and I suggest you do too! read more

Awesome! Although the wait was long 45min+, there were coffee mugs and 3 varieties of self serve. Once seated there was a nice selection of fresh, tasty items. My table mates got the meat lovers skillet and son got waffles, bacon and scrambled eggs. They also offered real maple syrup! (A sign of good taste, in MHO). And overall the menus seemed to offer "real food/healthier choice" options. The best part?!?i am on Whole30, which can limit my choices and make me a general PIA while ordering. Food is very creative with unique flavor profiles. The chef owner TJ is a master at creating breakfast lunch entrees. Execution is key. When they execute in the kitchen the way TJ would want them to the food is outstanding. When food is not properly prepared it's a letdown especially given increased prices. Love the atmosphere at the Hooksett, Concord and Merrimack locations. Service is off at times but generally it's very good. Our drink orders were taken promptly upon being seated, and coffee was delicious. Food was brought hot and in a timely manner. Irish Eggs Benny's were perfect. Two specials, pumpkin pancakes and pumpkin bread french toast, both with butter and NH maple syrup were spot on. All the servers work hard, but all seemed very friendly and engaging. This place is wonderful! My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and were very impressed by the attentive staff, beautifully clean decor and delicious food. I ordered a "Fresh" grilled cheese. It was a served on toasted whole grain bread and included spinach and tomato. I also ordered a cup of seafood chowder which had large pieces of fish and was delightfully creamy. My husband ordered the Tuckito Grande wrap with chips and he raved about it. He also ordered a side of Mac n' cheese and we ended up fighting over the last bites. I went for breakfast today and there was a long blonde hair in my meal, although the manager was very kind about it and made me something new, I feel it's unfair I had to pay the entirety for a meal I literally could not eat. When I personally worked in the food industry we'd offer customers compensation for food made incorrectly or late, I've never had a situation involving hair but I would think there would be some sort of discount for a meal that could not be ate, as was not offered or given here. Overall the service was kind but I do hope they enforce stricter hair standards in the kitchen and for service alike. read more

I went to Tucker's for breakfast because I have always heard very good things about them. I unfortunately was not as star struck as other people seem to be. I ordered a western omelette with hash browns, 2 pancakes a side of extra crisp bacon with coffee. There were pros and cons. The pros + Great coffee possibly the best in town, with large mugs. + Pancakes were light, fluffy, tasted great and we're dinner plate size. + The Western omelette was excellent and cooked perfectly. + Huge portions The cons. - The toast that came with the meal was not toasted and was like eating a slice of buttered bread. No crunch. - The hash browns looked perfect on the outside but the interior was not cooked. They tasted like you were eating uncooked potato pancakes rather than hash browns. - The bacon looked nicely cooked as if it was crispy however it was limp and had zero crunch. - The cost ($26.94) for the meal seems to be out of line for the poor quality of the food. I would like to think I just went there on an "off" day but because of the negatives I cannot give any more than 3 stars. read more

Ok, so, Tucker's just opened on Monday. I came on the recommendation of a friend. They have a very expansive menu. Many of their offerings range from very healthy- to standard diner food. It's cute. The decor is sweet and the waitstaff seems polite and attentive. I used the restrooms, they were clean and well maintained. On to the food: Beverages: the have a smoothies bar, a variety of juices, coffee, tea and Pepsi products. I had a diet Pepsi. I ordered the "house-made corned beef hash" and a side of white toast. I have NEVER seen a hash quite like the one brought out to me. Shredded potatoes and little pieces of corned beef chopped up and sort of mixed in pellmell? The corned beef "flakes" (for lack of a better word) were dry and pretty flavorless, the potatoes were... Texturally, unappealing. It really left me wanting some salt. For some reason though, the toast, was SPOT ON. I'm not usually a big toast fan but seriously, this toast was fantastic. The waitress I had, Jen, was very sweet and attentive and seemed just so happy to be at work, it was refreshing. She offered me a sample of their "sunny smoothie"( I believe that's what it was called)- orange juice, bananas, mango, pineapple, and energy powder. - tasted like fruity cake? It was delicious!! I may have to get the full size next time I go in. All in all, a good experience but, I won't be returning for the Hash. I have made plans to go back to checkout the eggs Benedict which is always MY personal test as far as food quality. read more

Why us the Hooksett location so hit or miss. We enjoyed a very good meal last Sunday. Stopped for breakfast this morning. My wife's power pancakes were very good. I ordered their Crankin Sausage Biscuits and gravy. The meal was served Luke warm at best. My wife suffers from advanced Alzheimer's which makes it very difficult to complain and have things made correctly. The biscuits were very heavy and dense and cold. The sausage gravy was flavorless and had no sausage. This combo might have seen a microwave oven for maybe 10 seconds. Served cold. Eggs served cold. Hash browns served cold. Coffee was great as always and Britney was, as always, very pleasant and attentive. Please be more attentive to what is put on the plate for service. I'm not asking for anything special. Another locally owned, excellent addition, to the Hooksett dining scene. This building was a dumpy Burger King a few years ago, then it was Veano's Italian kitchen - a flop, then some other breakfast lunch place that was very sporadic. The new owners completely redid the interior and kitchen, producing a a very clean and natural looking atmosphere with an open kitchen. The sit down bar is made of beautiful pine slabs, as are the tables. The menu is expansive for a lunch and breakfast place, leaning towards the gourmet and Mexican influences - which to me, is terrific. They use a lot of organic ingredients, and the eggs are local farm fresh - very important. I had the 3 egg cheese omelet with raisin toast and home fries. It was great and very filling. My server, Lauren, was quite chatty and little overbearing, but having just opened, I appreciate their attention to detail and concern for customer satisfaction. I'd much rather have concerned people than "don't-give-a-hoot" idiots, which are all too common. Some friends had recommended the place to me. They had the breakfast sandwiches and were very pleased with them. The pricing is a little bit above average, but quality is way above average - so it's a great deal. Not sure why everyone is going crazy for this place? We tried to go 4 times and every time the wait was over an hour. We eventually ordered online and picked up through the drive thru. The French toast was smothered in cinnamon and honestly hurt my throat with how dry this made it. Additionally they only gave me one syrup packet which was a joke. I've never had a bad meal or a poor experience with a staff at any Tucker's location, but my favorite would have to be the original Hooksett Tuckers. The menu is incredibly diverse and unique, straying away from the standard omelette and eggs Benedict for more flavorful and original dishes like walnut and banana bread French toast or the Tribal Bowl pictured below. The Tribal Bowl was my choice for today and it features a sunny side egg, mushrooms, kale, sweet potatoes, quinoa and hash browns with a balsamic glaze and a side of naan bread. The decor is sunny and welcoming on the inside. Since wait times are normally long on weekends, Tuckers has been known to offer cups of their house blend coffee to start while you wait - whether outside or in. They are the quintessential New Hampshire brunch location that sells 8 kinds of eggs Benedict and has sandwiches and even a sashimi option even though everyone, their mother AND their grandmother come here for breakfast. The wait to get in can be some what daunting for the working man. You need to get here early for breakfast and later for lunch and if you want brunch then be prepared to wait. Haven't had the best take out experiences here, you are better off eating in house. Parking alone is enough to deter some people but foodies should but on your lists of places to try. Coffee is average, pancakes are pretty good, benedicts are maybe 5th best in the state, overall package of atmosphere, wait staff and food pulls them together at a 5-star.
