Cozy little diner in Manchester. Very friendly staff, Clean, and nicely decorated. Our group of 5 had to share two booths, so maybe not great for larger groups, bit the booths were Clean and comfortable. I had a hamburger and fries. Unfortunately, the fries are frozen, but they weren't bad. The burger was large and cooked great! I really enjoyed it. Others in our group had the BLT and meatloaf. Everyone left with full stomachs and the prices were quite reasonable. Definitely would return. read more

Went in last Friday for the first time. The waitress Brenda was amazing. She gave so many great recommendations and knew the menu head to toe. Visiting from Nashville for our sons wedding but lived in NH for 24 years until 2013. Decided to try out Margie's after reading Yelp reviews. DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Had the Sausage Benedict and Hubby had the Irish Benedict. Both very yummy! Michaela was our waitress and on point! She was very attentive throughout our meal. They were quite busy and had a few ugly customers who thought the wait was too long for their food. She handled them much better than I would have. I am traveling through with my crew and found this little gem, just hiding in plain sight. We went around 9:30 in the morning. Small, homey and welcoming. The menu has a lot to offer. The omelets are made to perfection. Everything is made to order. So don't go if you can't wait a few minutes. They are more than willing to help you change things up to your specifications. I wish I had tried the spanakopita but opted for an omelette with fresh spinach, onions, bacon (lots) and feta (not enough). I took half home to add more cheese later. Hubby had steak and cheese omelette. It says steak tip omelette but it was minced. Delicious but not what we were picturing. Didn't love the potato pancakes (mashed potatoes shaped and griddled.). We returned to Margie's Dream this past Sunday. This experience was much different than the last. We sat in the back- the booths are next to overflow refrigerators which cooks come out and take out what they need- well the smell that came out from that frige- OMG- it smelled like something died in there- sour rotten milk smell. Also- looking up- to see all kinds of cobwebs in the corners (see pic). NOT a clean place. Service was also a disappointment- coffee was not refilled and ordered items was not delivered. Margie's Dream has NEVER disappointed and I doubt it ever will. The food is delicious, classic diner meals that will make you so full you'll need a nap afterward. I highly recommend getting a pancake with their real maple syrup, it's worth the up-charge and is probably one of the best pancakes I've ever had. Also, their server is the sweetest woman in the world who works harder than anyone, make sure to leave her a good tip because she deserves it.
