5-Star Review for The Cure Café The Cure Café is an absolute gem! I stopped in for breakfast and had The Robert sandwich on an everything bagel, adding cream cheese for an extra indulgent touch. The sandwich was made to order with farm-fresh eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheddar cheese--every bite was perfection. I also grabbed an iced coffee, which was leagues ahead of anything mass-produced. I love that they give customers the option to add their own cream and sugar, keeping the experience fully customizable. This time, I let the barista make it, and since it wasn't too busy, she even checked to make sure it was just right for me. That level of service is rare and much appreciated! The barista, Paige, was both knowledgeable and kind, offering insight into how they handle high-volume rushes while still prioritizing quality. The owner was also present, warmly welcoming guests and even serving guests herself, a true testament to what it takes to own a small business. You can tell this place is run with passion and care. If you're looking for a locally owned spot that serves incredible food, fantastic coffee, and genuine hospitality, The Cure Café is it. A must-visit and a great business to keep in town! And a picture... I didn't get one of those. Everything was devoured before I thought to share!

Nice glass of OJ. Wish they didn't use concentrate.

Had to wait quite a bit for service. There was one waitress on the floor and she was in the middle of her lunch break. So, I sat at a table and waited til she was done before I could even look at menu. Once I placed my order, it was another relatively long wait for the food. This was hard to understand since there was just one other party in the restaurant at this time. There was a lot of loud chatter coming from the kitchen, including the occasional swear word. Not sure if they realized (or cared) that everyone in the dining room could hear them clearly. Food finally arrived. I ordered the brisket Benny. I love brisket, but never had it in a Benny. So, I was excited to try it. Sadly, the brisket I got was dry and flavorless. They hardly put any Hollandaise sauce on the eggs. The serving of home fries was very generous, but they too lacked seasoning. I never use table salt. Usually, a few dashes of hot sauce is all I add to my food. But, I found myself reaching for the salt, the pepper, and the hot sauce just to add some flavor to this dish. The restaurant does have a nice dining room, with a great view of the river that runs behind it. The dining area was clean and there was ample seating. Overall, it was a bit of a disappointing experience. I would come back to give it another try. But it wouldn't me my first choice.

been here a few times for breakfast and each time the greeting we get is very welcoming, the service is great (Danielle is awesome), the food is great (love the Northeast omelet) and is very reasonably priced. Sitting by the river with a cup of hot coffee is also very relaxing way to spend breakfast. It's well worth the half hour drive to the Northeast Cafe. I'm sure many people have driven by without even knowing it's in the center of New Boston but then we kinda like this little gem and want to keep it our secret

I found this hidden gem on YELP.My wife and I always enjoy breakfast, brunch,or lunch at an eatery where we can experience Home style fresh food cooking.Personality and fun attitude of the staff, comfortable surroundings. These were all the ingredients that made our visit at Northeast Cafe a positive will Return Again! There's only two tables on the balcony for outside eating so we lucked out. Homemade warm breads, wicked good homemade hash.Homemade applesauce jam,Sumatra coffee was the best for me but they probably should offer a lighter blend for others.New Boston NH is a hidden gem as well.Take the time to enjoy.

Coffee with a babbling brook! Enough said!

At long last, we finally scored a long awaited double date with someone besides my bestie and her hubs. Not that they aren't still totally awesome or anything. But I was beginning to wonder if my breath stunk or something. Anywho, along comes Riverside Grille. Which, upon first glance and much to our shock and amazement, was more desolate than school in summertime. Don't let the lackluster crowd deter you though. This place was certainly worth the impromptu visit. We were looking for some easy going casual family dining that only New England could deliver. And right from the decorum, I could tell we were in good hands. Service was also quite accommodating considering we were, what....1 of 3 tables in there at the time(?). Nevertheless, the food ranged from decent to pretty damn good. With that, we'll get right into it. Caesar salad: Not a bad way to start a casual New England dinner. I only wish they had dressed the lettuce a bit more. Not to the point of rendering it into soggy spinach, mind you. Just....more than the splash of Caesar dressing that was there. 7 out of 10. Buffalo wings: Honestly, I was surprised by these wonders! This is gonna sound wicked biased, but very few places up here can come close to meeting or exceeding the buffalo wings wifey makes for us at home. These guys were seasoned well beyond just relying on the sauce alone. The bleu cheese was also a great compliment to the spicy goodness. 9 out of 10, would highly recommend! Fish n' chips: Okay. A little background here; I was really torn between ordering this versus the broiled haddock. In hindsight, I kinda wish I had gone with the latter because fish n' chips can be hit or miss, depending on how they're done. This one was okay, though I can't tell if the piece of fish they used was just hella small or if it was the batter that was throwing me off. In either case, it seemed thinner than most fried cod or haddock I've had up there. This tends to result in the end pieces of fish being slightly overcooked whilst the center was mostly fine. I dunno. It only makes me wonder how their broiled haddock would have turned out. Grading on a curve, I'll give this one a 7 out of 10. All said, I would definitely return here and try several other items on the menu, actually. I already mentioned one, but another that I'm curious about is their steak & cheese. Sadly, it'll have to wait till I happen to be back in the neighborhood again, given the 40ish minute drive from our place. For now, though, I'm giving Riverside Grille 4 beautifully seasoned buffalo wings with creamy bleu cheese out of 5.

We started with some cocktails and the cheese curds, for Andres we had the Smashburger and an order of duck tacos. We do come toting along with a six-year-old so with a lack of a kids menu or a simpler eats, we went with the cheese flatbread (note to anybody reading it comes without sauce. It is literally cheese on a flatbread). We can't fall places for not being kid friendly, but it would've been awesome to have even just a grilled cheese option, but that's our problem for another day. Sadly, it will limit when we can plan our future visit visits. The service was great, friendly and attentive, in the ambience, cozy and warm. I travel quite a bit and my husband did deem this a place that "I could come and sit at the bar when I'm by myself " So personally, the only thing I would say is they could use a few more smaller plates that could thicken as child, friendly entrées... or just add a tad bit more options into the mix.

Very approachable menu with a few sections but a handful of options in each section. From the starters section, we shared the duck wings and the fried cheese curds. Surprisingly, a lot of duck featured on the menu. Not something I typically see at a casual taphouse. Duck wings were great. Ultra crispy and card with mandarin wedges for a perfect compliment. The fried cheese curds came out piping hot. Some of them seemed to pop and the cheese oozed out leaving some hollow curds. The ones that maintained their integrity and contained the cheese were superb. We shared the Korean fried chicken sandwich as our main. Super crispy and vinegar forward. Came with spiraled potato wedges which was an ideal accompaniment for a few beers. Service was quick and accommodating. Food came out quickly too. A couple TVs to catch an event. Great spot!

From the service, to the cocktails, to the food it was a five star experience. We were also lucky enough to see an incredible sunset. I had the cranberry amaretto sour cocktail, which was absolutely divine. We then had a flight of white wine with a baked Brie to start, and it was delicious. My husband had the short rib and I had the strip sirloin, both were cooked beautifully, and the short rib came on a bed of homemade pasta. I had a glass of their Malbec, which they recommended with the strip steak and it was so good that we bought a bottle to bring home. The waitress was knowledgeable on the wines and their pairings. We got the red wine braised shortrib poutine and and it was AMAZING I've tried a lot of poutine and this was one of the best. The meat was so incredibly flavorful and soft, the cheese had the perfect cheese pull, the gravy was scrumptious and the fries were thin and perfectly salty like a better version of a McDonald's fry. For dinner we split the steak frites and duck breast. The steak was well seasoned and was a nice size, the broccolini was surprisingly really great, and the fries were just as good as they were in the poutine. The duck breast was a pass for me, and I love duck. It was cooked medium as a default and that is not my preference. It was quite chewy and I didn't think it tasted like very much at all. The mashed potatoes were very good, I think they have a real knack for all things potato here and the farro was good and very flavorful for being a side portion. I would definitely come here again but probably stick to the red meats.
