The food was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly. We walked in to be greeted immediately by the nice staff and were promptly taken to be seated. Our waitress was at our table almost instantly when the host left. Her service was the entire time both speedy and friendly. You can get your bacon cooked soft medium crispy or over cooked. My fiancé and I got eggs (I got over easy, he got over hard), bacon(I got crispy, he got medium), sausages, toast (he got wheat, I got sourdough), country fries, and French toast. All the food was 10/10, except the French toast was meh. It wasn't bad French toast, but it wasn't fluffy. Everything else was amazing. The prices were standard. 10/10 will be returning again. Despite living in town for more than 30 years, this is only our second visit. We weren't impressed the first time, especially with the bacon, but we needed to eat today and figured it was time to try this place . Good move! We still don't care for the bacon! It's cooked FLAT and crispy. I suppose we could have ordered it a different way, but this was the default. We avoided omelettes because the pictures on the menu make it look like they're cooked on a griddle and that's not our preference. Over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Scrambled or overcooked. Canned corn beef hash was delightful, potato cakes, and toast are good. Server was lovely. Prices aren't bad; probably a bit less than Poor Boys, our favorite. read more

Always a good time at the bacon barn! Came here on a Saturday and had about a 30 min wait which isn't bad and they have a hot coffee station outside so you can stay warm or grab a cup and enjoy it while you wait for their call in your vehicle. Once called we walked in and were seated immediately. My daughter ordered the poe the pig which is a pancake with some fresh fruits, whipped creams and 2 slices of bacon. She really liked the pancake and of course loves their bacon here. I ordered my usual which is the Pigs in the Mud. You get 3 eggs, choice of a side but I always order the potatoes that are like tater tots but flat lol. They are soo good and love them better than hash browns. Let's not forget the sausage patties on top grilled biscuits with some sausage gravy on top. The dish is well put together and it's my favorite since I'm a sucker for biscuits and gravy lol. The ambiance is old school barn feel but I'm telling you their food is amazing here and you won't be disappointed in picking anything on their menu. We will definitely be back again. read more

Never a disappointment. I'd recommend one of their specials if you stop in for breakfast our lunch. Their regular menu items are good, but they are called specials for a reason. They also just added Black Forest bacon which is amazing! Pick up a mug or two for someone on your holiday shopping list and enjoy the friendly service. Absolutely AMAZING!!! My husband and I were recommended the Bacon Barn by a coworker of mine and we were floored by how outstanding the food was. From the selection of different bacons to the variety of cooking styles we were pleasantly surprised and impressed. I ordered the peach cobbler French toast special and pecan wood smoked bacon while my husband ordered regular French toast and the jalapeño bacon. I have never enjoyed a meal as much as I did this morning. We left nothing behind, everything was out of this world! The service was warm and welcoming as well. Our waiter had a great personality, we overheard a table complaining about prices and our waiter managed to easily calm them and lightened their mood. This is a nice little breakfast spot with good service. They do not have an inside waiting area so dont forget your jacket on cold days. But when you wait outside they do offer free hot coffee. There was a bit of a wait (probably because of how good the food is). I ordered the bacon bene which was super delicious. Highly recommend. The hashbrowns and bacon were perfectly crispy (exactly how I like it) and the hollandaise sauce was made to perfection. We stopped in at the Bacon Barn recently for breakfast. We were there early, and it slowly filled up. It was a very cold day, and it was quite chilly inside the dining room. We had a server in training and she was very nice and tried really hard and was pleasant. Food came out after a few minutes which was good and cooked properly. I had a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, cheese, and home fries inside. Hubs had an omlette and a side of bacon. THe bacon was very thin and crispy. Prices I thought were a tad high, but they are high at most places now. read more

Came at 915 on a Tuesday morning. The restaraunt was clean. The floors were spotless. 3/4 of the tables were full and we were seated immediately. She took a drink order immediately. I got a bacon burger w/ onion ring on it, ordered "cooked to temp" the waitress didn't know what that meant so I said "medium". My wife got stuffed French toast. The burger came out looking great. Fresh produce piled high. It was cooked medium, but the taste was very underwhelming. Zero seasoning. I added salt...to a bacon cheeseburger. Oh boy. The fries were good and crispy but again...zero salt, zero seasoning. I asked for a side of blue cheese, they didn't have it. I asked for malt vinegar they didn't have it. I asked for ranch, she said ok but it never ended up making its way to the table. The stuffed French toast (Carmel and banana) came out alone on a plate. The wife said "overall I thought it was good". She regretted not ordering strawberries with it, she said it lacked a depth. It was very ALL caramel and banana. And we felt that the serving (pictured) was small for $12. Just look at the picture it says 1000 words. Overall probably not going back to the Bacon Barn. Very under-seasoned food all around, not having blue cheese (admittedly understandable for a breakfast place), and forgetting my ranch are the three straws to break the camels back. read more

The food was excellent we were greeted by a waiter (man with glasses) with a great big smile and welcomed us in. I ordered the pepper bacon crispy it was delicious. Just went for brunch with friends and the food was great but service was horrible. i felt that I was profiled as the server was only nice to my WHITE friend but rude to everyone else at the table who were hispanic. also had several employees watching us eat but server could not have the time to check on us until she was basically rushing us out. if we are talking food the place is amazing but if you are not white or resemble as such id avoid going there as you will feel uncomfortable and the server will not have any problem looking at you wrong and making ignorant remarks. So this happened today. We have been wanting to stop here and check it out for a while now. If you love bacon you need to go. Everyone that works here gets five stars for friendliness. Very nice people. Bathrooms were clean and the inside of the dining room was as cute as the outside. The coffee mugs are adorable, too. The bacon flavors..... amazing! Mom had a BLT with jalepeno bacon, dad and I both had burgers, mine with the bourbon bacon and his with the applewood bacon. The fries...hand cut! They were cooked perfectly. Dad had a side of homemade beans...not canned. We ordered a side of onion rings which was the only thing we didn't really love. They were ok but I've had better. I had to ask for a knife to eat my burger because it was so thick I couldn't bite into it! I do wish they didn't add an upcharge for each slice of bacon, but honestly they put more than four slices of bacon on my burger (they charged for four)I know. You can choose how you want your bacon cooked as well. My dad and I asked for crispy and mom asked for it dead(burnt). Initially I had planned to order dessert because they looked really good, but after finishing my burger and all my fries I knew it wasn't going to happen. Haven't eaten here in over a year and it may at least that long again. Ordered bacon and cheese omelette with mushrooms, deep fried pan fries and sour dough toast. Omelette came out cold with hard clumps of bacon instead of shredded that you would expect in an omelette. There were no mushrooms and I told the waitress and she brought some out. At least they were hot! The coffee was good but the toast wasn't buttered with real butter. I could of chosen from at least 4 other places but decided on The Bacon Barn. Bad choice read more

Five stars for the amazing bacon and omelette I had this morning at the Bacon Barn. I did go a little overboard with an omelet loaded with cheese and ham and onions and peppers, sliced tomatoes on the side as well as a side of their peppercorn bacon and an extra side of hollandaise sauce. They have five different flavors of bacon on the menu. Yes, five. I chose the peppercorn because it was the one that seemed like it would be the last extra carbs (I'm doing keto) and it was delicious. Sharp peppery flavor, nice and crisp. Yum! Run far away from this place! Even though the front page of the menu says you can add extra bacon for 35 cents and lists all the flavor options, you in fact CANNOT add bacon for 35 cents a piece. And when we voiced it to the other staff to rectify, We got a defensive, condescending and argumentative response that made it really unpleasant and awkward for us. The Bacon Barn is an adorable family friendly spot for breakfast in Londonderry. The colors and patterns in here are quirky and I personally love that they write different specials on chalk boards at each end of the walls. They have several booths for larger parties, smaller tables all around, a bar for four individuals up front and a little waiting area right behind it. There's a decent size tv in front placed high up so you can see it when you're waiting to be seated or where ever you're dining from in the room. Peaches & Cream Stuffed French Toast- There were slices of peaches in there with a bit of cream and was it was completely covered in a honey glaze so no maple syrup required. Very sweet eat. Irish Bene- It was a little underwhelming. The corn beef was mushy and a bit pasty but the eggs was poached perfectly. And the home fries were fantastic. This diner is the cutest!! They have their own personalized mugs for coffee and the staff is extremely friendly. When we arrived there was a slight wait, but there's a decent waiting area so we didn't have to sit out in the cold or anything while waiting for our table. The menu is also super creative with their names, but most importantly, the food was delicious and the portions were great! I got the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and house fries. And my boyfriend got waffles and fried chicken. The cool part about that dish was that the waffles were their specialty bacon waffle too with this cinnamon glaze. I can't wait to come back here!! We used to frequent Bacon Barn and Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. I would bring my family and on a monthly basis I'd take my employees here as a thank you. Years ago they had a point system and I had a ridiculous amount of member points and lost it all when they decided to do away with it without warning. When I asked what happened they blamed Covid. Ok, that's fine .. We still would take our business here. I started noticing prices going up and believe me, I get it, things are not cheap, but don't raise prices and start skimping. Went in last week after my last 4 experiences were less than par, but again I'd chalk it up to a bad day. After my last visit, Yea, not going anymore as it is not a bad day but normal practice. Seriously, the bacon is so thinly cut you can't even pick it up because it crumbles and disintegrates on your plate. Scrambled eggs a normal portion has turned into kiddie portion, country fries same thing. The big pancakes have also shrunk into a smaller size. I had 3 sausages and one was wrinkled up and old looking, I wish I took a picture of it. Not sure what is up with the staff, but they also don't seem happy either. Went to the BB this morning for a late breakfast. I have been here many times, but something seems to have changed. The food was slow to come out. I wish that was the only issue...I ordered a Benny, but the English muffin base was overcooked and inedible. The home fries were overseasoned with salt to where it couldn't be eaten. My wife had the same issue with her home fries. Not a very edible or enjoyable meal, as salt is meant to complement not be the main ingredient. read more

The best breakfast place around! We have become weekly regulars, and the staff know our drink order when we walk in. Always very friendly, everything is clean. The food is spot on, especially the bacon which is cooked to the perfect crispness.
