Corned beef hash & scrambled eggs
Amy M.

Despite living in town for more than 30 years, this is only our second visit. We weren't impressed the first time, especially with the bacon, but we needed to eat today and figured it was time to try this place . Good move! We still don't care for the bacon! It's cooked FLAT and crispy. I suppose we could have ordered it a different way, but this was the default. We avoided omelettes because the pictures on the menu make it look like they're cooked on a griddle and that's not our preference. Over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Scrambled or overcooked. Canned corn beef hash was delightful, potato cakes, and toast are good. Server was lovely. Prices aren't bad; probably a bit less than Poor Boys, our favorite.

Always a good time at the bacon barn! Came here on a Saturday and had about a 30 min wait which isn't bad and they have a hot coffee station outside so you can stay warm or grab a cup and enjoy it while you wait for their call in your vehicle. Once called we walked in and were seated immediately. My daughter ordered the poe the pig which is a pancake with some fresh fruits, whipped creams and 2 slices of bacon. She really liked the pancake and of course loves their bacon here. I ordered my usual which is the Pigs in the Mud. You get 3 eggs, choice of a side but I always order the potatoes that are like tater tots but flat lol. They are soo good and love them better than hash browns. Let's not forget the sausage patties on top grilled biscuits with some sausage gravy on top. The dish is well put together and it's my favorite since I'm a sucker for biscuits and gravy lol. The ambiance is old school barn feel but I'm telling you their food is amazing here and you won't be disappointed in picking anything on their menu. We will definitely be back again.

Peach Cobbler French Toast *Special*

Absolutely AMAZING!!! My husband and I were recommended the Bacon Barn by a coworker of mine and we were floored by how outstanding the food was. From the selection of different bacons to the variety of cooking styles we were pleasantly surprised and impressed. I ordered the peach cobbler French toast special and pecan wood smoked bacon while my husband ordered regular French toast and the jalapeño bacon. I have never enjoyed a meal as much as I did this morning. We left nothing behind, everything was out of this world! The service was warm and welcoming as well. Our waiter had a great personality, we overheard a table complaining about prices and our waiter managed to easily calm them and lightened their mood. We can't wait to go back and enjoy another meal in a cozy and homey breakfast spot!

Bacon Bene

This is a nice little breakfast spot with good service. They do not have an inside waiting area so dont forget your jacket on cold days. But when you wait outside they do offer free hot coffee. There was a bit of a wait (probably because of how good the food is). I ordered the bacon bene which was super delicious. Highly recommend. The hashbrowns and bacon were perfectly crispy (exactly how I like it) and the hollandaise sauce was made to perfection. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because seating and food is a bit of a wait. But its worth it!

One of the best breakfast places in New England. They serve typical breakfast foods but seriously so good. The staff is nice, and the booths are clean :)

The burger came out looking 10/10, unfortunately the taste missed the mark.

Came at 915 on a Tuesday morning. The restaraunt was clean. The floors were spotless. 3/4 of the tables were full and we were seated immediately. She took a drink order immediately. I got a bacon burger w/ onion ring on it, ordered "cooked to temp" the waitress didn't know what that meant so I said "medium". My wife got stuffed French toast. The burger came out looking great. Fresh produce piled high. It was cooked medium, but the taste was very underwhelming. Zero seasoning. I added salt...to a bacon cheeseburger. Oh boy. The fries were good and crispy but again...zero salt, zero seasoning. I asked for a side of blue cheese, they didn't have it. I asked for malt vinegar they didn't have it. I asked for ranch, she said ok but it never ended up making its way to the table. The stuffed French toast (Carmel and banana) came out alone on a plate. The wife said "overall I thought it was good". She regretted not ordering strawberries with it, she said it lacked a depth. It was very ALL caramel and banana. And we felt that the serving (pictured) was small for $12. Just look at the picture it says 1000 words. Overall probably not going back to the Bacon Barn. Very under-seasoned food all around, not having blue cheese (admittedly understandable for a breakfast place), and forgetting my ranch are the three straws to break the camels back.

I've been here many times. Sometimes there is a line to get in but there is a reason for that. You will never be disappointed; from their creative dishes to the friendly employees, you will leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. It has a small town diner feel to it which is perfect for those early weekend brunch trips with family.

Overall the food was great and our waitress was phenomenal and very attentive. we went on a Wednesday at around 10 AM and the atmosphere was very welcoming and low-key, not alot of people which was nice. We truly appreciate the establishment and eagerly anticipate our next visit.

Ironically, I think their bacon tastes disgusting. I don't know how people rave about this place.

Walking in 7 minutes after opening, this place was already packed. Full of Patriots fans hooping and hollering to the end of the fourth quarter. Every appeared in a merry mood, and everyone knew each other it seems. Service here was great. Our waitress whipped around the room with finesse and speed, working the bar and tables all by herself. She was to the point but pleasant. The beers are ok, but they aren't anything spectacular. An average selection of nearby beers of all varieties. Going to other breweries in New Hampshire, I know that this state can produce good beers. Perhaps they just had a mediocre selection the week I was there. We ordered a medley of items and most of it was hit and miss. In the sampler, the pork cracklings were decent, although dinner pieces were hard to chew since they turned into a dense fried bit. The fries were ok, but standard. The tator tot was actual pretty good, but there's this sweetness and texture that makes me think of pumpkin? That could be upsetting to some. The chicken tenders are ok, but the breading isn't seasoned or exciting in texture. It felt like how I would fry chicken at home with only one coat of breading. The pickle chips were good, even though they were not spicy at all. If they called these paprika coated chips, then I would agree. But texture wise, they were actually crisp and not super watery. The pulled pork tacos are ok, but they rely more on sweet barbeque sauce more than anything else. The tortillas are subpar in flavor, but sturdy enough to hold everything together. The veggies slaw did add some nice acidity though. The wedge salad here is terrible. I should have looked up what others posted before I ordered it. It was a literal wedge of plain iceberg, with all the other ingredients and fixings dumped in the middle. The stuff in the middle was ok, but nothing felt harmonious. Just a bunch of salad ingredients added to a giant paper tray. It felt like a waste of 9 dollars for what was lazy preparation.

The restaurant itself seems to be more family friendly and sports bar oriented and was decorated quite nicely. The menu is expansive and has a variety of great options. They even have daily specials as well. Our waitress was prompt and really quite lovely. She helped my friend decide on a dish and answered any other questions that we had. I would highly recommend her! We ended up ordering the dip sticks for an appetizer and I had the chowder and half chicken parm sandwich as my meal. The complimentary bread we had was incredible. Crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside with a dusting of Parmesan on cheese. And they were warm too! The bread was served with a whipped butter that wasn't even necessary but still a welcome addition. The dip stick sauces were excellent- I enjoyed the Indian inspired sauce the most but was also blown away by the pesto. The chowder was fantastic. Nice and creamy with a little bit of bacon on top for Smokey-ness. The chicken parm sandwich was nice and crispy with their great bread and even included an extra layer of pesto which I really enjoyed. I'm not a huge fan of too much marinara but this was the perfect amount and they even had extra on the side. If you need a quick but delicious bite to eat I highly recommend stopping by t-bones!

Thanks to some help from yelp and my dads love of steak, T-Bones Great American Eatery was the clear cut choice for dinner and where we headed. This place is absolutely massive and gave me such New England restaurant vibes, with lots of wood, tacky decorations, and big signss absolutely everywhere. The place was very busy on this Saturday night and they definitely seemed understaffed, we waited to check in and get a table for about 12 minutes before anyone came up to the front, but hey, busy nights happen. The menu here was huge and featured almost everything you could want from an American style steakhouse from appetizers and deserts to sandwiches and steaks. I ate a lot of food here, so let's just talk about what I personally ordered and ate. Boneless Buffalo Chicken- This was truly a unique batch of buffalo wings. The breading on these were corn flakes and thats certainly not something I've experienced before, but the corn flakes mixed with Buffalo sauce made for some really freaking good boneless wings. French Onion Soup- Nothing special here, but it was both hot and tasted good, so thumbs up on this. Mashed Potatoes- Standard mashed potatoes paired with the steak, ain't nothing at all wrong with that. T Bone- When you go to a place called T-Bones, you order the 25oz T-Bone. This big, tasty, medium rare, slab of beef had so much flavour and was absolutely fantastic. After four years of eating at expensive steakhouses in Las Vegas, I come to a place like this and they are serving the exact same steaks here for $39.99 and that's something I can truly get behind. The only real complaint with the main course was that I also chose French Fries as a side dish and they forget to every bring it to the table, but since I was extremely full anyway, I didn't bother to bring it up. Overall, T-Bones Great American Eatery was a fantastic choice for dinner and somewhere I can definitely see coming back to on future trips to New Hampshire. I miss places like this from New England and I truly enjoyed every aspect of the T-Bones experience, as did my parents. Hungry? You know where to go!

Rebels also has other locations around NH inside other Revo Casino locations in Dover, Keene, Lebanon, and Conway. They offer great daily specials here including $5 handhelds (12-3pm), $3 drafts (4-7pm) and 25 percent off food. I've been to the Rebels in Dover several times and that location has also pretty good street tacos there. This location still has the same feel as Filotomo which has a full service bar with seating and table seating along the walls. There are flatscreen TVs, scratch tickets machine, and Keno here. Anyways, I stopped by Rebels in Manchester for dinner recently. The bartender gave me a menu to look at and I got a complementary Revo bottled water. The food menu here offers a selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, chowder, flatbread pizzas, main entrees (steak, ribs, pork, pasta, seafood, chicken tenders, beef prime rib), and desserts, same food as the other locations. Much of the Greek Italian American menu of the former Filotomo, is now at Fotia down the street. The prices seem fair here. The bar has 16 draft beers, bottle/can beers, wine, liquor and cocktails. I ordered the Birria Pizza ($11 plus tax) and the Clam Baked Cod ($16 plus tax), both coming out to me at the same time in about 12 minutes. The Birria Pizza flatbread was topped with soft spiced beef, caramelized onions & melted cheese on top of a firm crunchy dry crust, consome dipping broth on the side. The Clam Baked Cod was comprised of a soft baked cod filet with herb seasoned breadcrumb topped with Boston clam chowder, couscous, red onions, roasted red bell pepper, tomatoes, zucchini, mushroom, garlic. I finished both food items, as I was all set. The check was presented which came out to $21.97 with tax, after discount, and before tip. Overall, another pretty good meal at Rebels and attentive service at the bar. I will continue to eat at Rebels whenever I'm already at Revo Casino and DraftKings Sportsbook.
