Came on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. We had Root Beer Chop Suey Macaroni Pasta in Meat Sauce. Meatloaf and a salad. All delicious. Waitress was very nice. Nice family friendly atmosphere.

Great food and awesome people! I have been to the Red Arrow in Manchester as well as Londonderry, and so far, my favorite is this location. Ashley is awesome, she is always on top of things and super proactive. I don't believe she has ever mixed up an order for us. After breakfast, I was offered a slice of pie, and was it ever great. I'll be back! This is certainly my favorite breakfast spot near Merrimack and Ashley and the cooks behind the curtain are easily the reason for that.

Very busy, but we expected that on a Saturday the place is absolutely adorable. The people are very friendly. Our server was a doll. The coffee is delicious. Love the nostalgic decor definitely a must.

You really get a feel of an old town diner. Good food, great coffee and pleasant conversations. Get what you want your way, and open 24 hours a day.

Very small place and five or six girls running around. We finally got our own menus. Finally girl ask about drinks. At find point a waitress came up to table and asked about drinks after another had just done that. In all, about 45 minutes before we got food. The food was good. French toast was way better than Maryann's a couple weeks ago. We got two turn overs to go.

Wanted something simple today. 3over easy pan fries bacon and toast. I asked the waitress if the "pan fries " were as home fries she said yes "cooked in a pan". When they came they were deep fried the eggs were stacked 3 high on top of each other. The bacon was leathery and limp my toast was soggy even though I ordered it dry with no butter. Tried to get the waitress's attention but was difficult. The place was not very busy. Asked her about the pan fries and she said " pan fries are deep fried" asked if they served potatoes not fried she said she had shredded. We said ok. Waited about 30 min then asked for the check. No potatoes. She yells to the cook "they don't want them anymore. Use them for another order" charged us for the full breakfast. Very disappointed Read the bill!!! They spell out deep fried on bill but not menu!!

** Patty Melt review **…read more Roadside eatery in a tiny strip plaza. Outside, it looks nothing like the classic New England train car style or New Jersey stainless steel style diners, but inside are countertop with stools, booths around the outskirts, and the hustle and bustle giving it a strong diner vibe. Like my visits to many diners, I was here on my patty melt quest. -- Patty Melt: First, the composition is faithful to the prototype, with a quarter pound patty (no smashburger nonsense), rye bread (no sourdough decoy), buttered (not merely toasted), and with the classic Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and thousand Island dressing. No fusion, no reinvention, no omissions, no hipster jive. Good crispness and butteriness on the bread, great melt on the cheese, and noticeable softness to the onions. Most importantly, the beef could be ordered medium rare, and they executed. More softness, with gushing juices and a really pleasing bite. I suspect nothing special to start with, but they cooked it to near perfection. Only quibble would be not much crust to the patty, but not as critical on a patty melt. -- Fries: I could have had tots or a few other options, but fries were fine. Almost certainly frozen, but the skin-on variety and not the dreaded coated kind. Nothing special, but good enough. Service was adequate. It seemed like everyone was prepping to get everything gathered and cleaned for closing about 90 minutes earlier than necessary, but that didn't detract. If anything, it shows initiative and hustle. Not much data to go on, but an easy 4 for me.

The service is always amazing and the food is always on point and it never disappoints. The ambiance is like a typical diner with booths, no loud music so you can talk to your party. Let's get down to the food. Cinnamon Bun Pancakes- this is my go to because I love it! It's not overly sweet which I love and it reminds me on a cinnamon bun. I always get one lol Country Benedict- this is what I order every time I come here as my main dish. You get buttermilk biscuits instead of English muffins with sausage patties on top and the lovely gravy. The gravy is soo good. CHOCOLATECHIP pancakes- my daughter go to since she loves chocolate lol. Which 5 year old doesn't right? She always gets this and it's really good. So if you're in Hudson be sure to come here, you won't be disappointed.

Anyways, Crack'd Kitchen totally lives up to its namesake, for every single egg product here utilizes (wait for it).....REAL cracked eggs!! This may seem like a rudimentary feature. But when you take into consideration how many short-order breakfast places rely on liquid or processed egg, things like this are graciously appreciated by those of us with a palate above that of a seven-year-old. So, I had an opportunity to try this place out both to-go and dine-in. Right upfront, I will say the food is far superior when enjoyed dine-in style. Given the distance from my house, I can aptly say we'll be mostly opting for dine-in (unless the dining area is hella crowded). For to-go, I tried the Country Breakfast whilst the dine-in meal was one of their sammiches; The Basic, to be precise. Overall, both were little short of greatness in their own ways. Though, I made a few casual observations. As mentioned earlier, this stuff is way more enjoyable inside the restaurant. Ergo, I probably should have reversed which meal I ordered when. Despite that minor setback, I think I actually liked the Country Breakfast more than the sammich. Whilst the former carries decently well as a to-go plate, the latter could have benefited from some seasoning on the eggs. I guess that's why they also offer sandwiches with various special sauces. Not gonna lie....I am slightly curious about their honey-sriracha sauce. One day I shall be brave enough to fancy it. One other complaint I have about the platter specifically: you only get half as many hashbrowns with the meal. For....some reason. Meanwhile, I ordered a side of hashbrowns with my sandwich and it came with six. I would assume that'd be the standard across the board so....make it make sense? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Btw....I should probably mention the only reason I'm stuck on this point is because the hashbrowns themselves are amazeballs! They don't even need ketchup, but comes with it if you fancy that sort of thing. A few other housekeeping deetz: their gender ambiguous restrooms are located toward the back entrance. There is also complimentary water for folks dining in. So, yeah. We'll certainly be revisiting this place from time to time. Perhaps I'll even try a couple of over-easy eggs at some point. Till then, Crack'd Kitchen and Coffee in Salem gets 4 cracked eggs with bacon and beautifully seasoned hashbrowns out of 5.
