Sunny Cafe is a fantastic addition to Manchester's food scene. What immediately sets it apart is its unique menu, which incorporates pierogi and dumpling-inspired breakfast items, something you don't see often in the area. It's a creative concept that definitely caught my attention. Everything I tried was excellent. The matcha latte was well made, the cookie was absolutely fabulous, and the breakfast sandwich proved that simple food can still be incredible when done right. I also had a blueberry scone, which was equally delicious. Every item felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The cafe itself is bright, open, and inviting, with plenty of space for individuals or small groups. It's clear they've become popular quickly. The line can get pretty long, but that's a testament to how good and unique they are. If you're dining in, they give you a number and bring the food directly to your table, which is a nice touch. We absolutely love this coffee shop! The staff are friendly and attentive, the coffees are delicious and the food is excellent! The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating around my food allergies (dairy and gluten) and they had excellent alternative options! They use hometown roasted coffee beans but somehow prepare a better coffee than they do at hometown roasters! Inside the space is large and comfortable and is really the perfect place to stop for coffee, breakfast or lunch! Highly recommend! read more

I really liked this Cafe, my partner was lukewarm on it. They have great Eastern European selection, with the highlight being the pierogies. We got the spicy and the the standard perogies and they were quite good in filling. 12 pieces is more than enough for a meal. Nice selection of baked goods and an extensive breakfast menu. This is my new favorite cafe ! I went in for a quick solo brunch. The inside is so nice, clean and quaint. Great place to quietly get work done meet with a friend or colleague. The baristas are friendly and greet you with a smile. I got my latte very quickly and shortly after the food arrived. The latte was just right flavor, temp, and not at all bitter. Very smooth taste. Great lattes. I had come here previously and gotten their lucky charm latte (pictured here) and it was so good I haven't stopped thinking about it. I had their pistachio white chocolate latte today, also unable to put that one down for even a second. Previously I had gotten a crepe, also very good. My sister had gotten their dumplings which left much to be desired. As pictured here, the breakfast sandwich was a bit skimpy, three measly slices of bacon and not enough avocado to even cover the whole slice of bread. Management offered more avocado... if I paid extra. I figured I'd deal with my "avocado sandwich" instead of pay more for probably just one more sliver. Overall: great lattes, great workers at the counter and serving, but the policies and food could use some work. read more

The first time I went I was happily surprised to see the sign said dumplings and coffee. For anyone who doesn't know, there could not be a better place to bring my husband, who hates coffee (but loves me and my interests), but fav food is dumplings and he happened to join me this morning. It made for a very cute start to our day. Everything was super fresh and made to order. For a drink I got a banana bread latte, which is my fav flavor but hard to come by and it was very, VERY yummy and I still think about it frequently. Good was excellent! We chose this restaurant because my daughter's name is Sunny and it was her birthday. I got the dumplings and they were delicious. The ambiance was clean and crisp, the only thing I'd say is the sound echoes like crazy! They have a few tables to sit at and a counter area. You order your food at the counter and they call you when it's ready. They offer takeout through DoorDash. They offer small portions and a large portion for $1 more. For the dumplings you have the option of a beef & pork mixture or chicken. Our breakfast bowl was yummy, my cold brew was great, my hubby's refresher was good (he likes it sweet so he added a sugar ). My only gripe was that the toast was "soggy". The menu was diverse considering the size of the cafe and the choices tantalizing. BUT THE STAFF... omg. Two of the most sullen 20 somethings I have come across in a long time. There was absolutely no warmth nor even interest in taking our orders. In fact, both young women seemed quite put out that we had infringed upon their space and made no effort to engage in any manner. The place was empty as someone had just left when we were entering so it wasn't as if it was slamming busy. After gently trying to eek out some sort of human discourse from the two women behind the counter we gave up, raised our eyebrows at each other and went to our table to await our food. Which was very good and nicely prepared. And the theory that we had - maybe the two girls were in a tiff of some sort and we were just experiencing the collateral damage of their moods was blown out of the water as we heard them chuckling and talking companionably in the back. For whatever reason they didn't make any bones about making us feel unwelcome. So my rating reflects the service, not the food. I was really hoping to like this place and the presentation of the cafe in person and on their social media seemed inviting and put together. However, a friend and I ordered the curbside pickup as we did not have the time to order inside because we had an appointment to make. We were told by the store itself that our order was to be ready by the time we arrived. When we arrived there was no indicated parking spots for curbside pickup and the parking lot was packed. We called the store as instructed by their website and let them know we arrived, we were told to park by the fence and we did so. They said someone would be right out and we waited. For over fifteen minutes we waited outside and no one came to drop off the orders. We were already running late so one of us went inside because we understandably thought they might be short staffed. Unfortunately that was not the case as there were over 7 staff members present. My friend still had to wait in line as there was only one cashier till. Once she got to the register she mentioned the orders and was told a singular "Sorry about that" and " did you call?" then was handed the orders that had been ready the entire time. Though we had already waited long enough to be considered ridiculous she took the food and left. Once we were able to eat the food a couple minutes later the food was soggy, cold, and disappointing. As a company that prides themselves on fresh ingredients the avocado was brown and mushy. We were provided no silverware or straws for our drinks. The coffees were near $7 each and were flavorless. I proud myself on supporting small businesses but I would much rather throw $30 bucks at a Dunkin' Donuts than ever return here. We paid over $45 for five items but I guess that's our fault.
