Finally after years of driving by I stopped in. Honestly, this place has a tough location. If you are not getting on 101 you wouldn't just drive by. I had a black iced tea, best around. Also got a cuban, a little pricey but worth it and it comes with a side. This place was busy while I ate here which says a lot since the location isn't ideal. Will eat here again

Great food, great service! We ordered catering for our 4th of July party. When we arrived for pickup, they were just finishing up our order so every was hot and fresh. While waiting, there was a sudden torrential downpour - like crazy, can barely see through it rain. They suggested we back up our car right to the door and then not only did they help us bring out the food, one of the workers came running out with a big umbrella to hold over all of us! We ordered the mixed grill, Florentine rice, mashed potatoes, pasta primavera, salad, caprese skewers, and a charcuterie board- all fantastic, and everyone was raving about the charcuterie board- we could have just served a few of those! We have had their amazing donuts in the past, but will definitely order catering for our next party! Big shout out to the amazing staff!

I had the fall Apple Cinnamon Sausage Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwhich, and oh my gosh that was the best $10 I've spent in so so so long. That thing was gone in 5 minutes flat!!

The Lighthouse Local is mostly a bakery with a gift shop. They do offer a few other items, such as quiche and breakfast sandwiches. The absolute winners, however, were the scones! We tried the onion & sour cream, the loaded baked potato, the garlic onion, and the Italian meats. All of these scones were delicious. My wife's favorite was the loaded baked potato, and my favorite was the Italian meats. They were buttery, flavorful, and not dry at all. We also tried the maple coffee cake which was also very good. Service was great. It was a cute little bakery and store.

What a find! This bakery has the most amazing donuts I have ever seen. Sky high and yummy. Only critique is that the flavors could be a bit more bold. They also have beautifully decorated cookies, yummy breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and cakes. There is a great little gift shop with locally made items too. Perfect spot to find a gift and a treat.

Tasty cronuts, scones and other baked goods. They also have a variety of coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches. Great place to enjoy a breakfast with a friend. They have some tables but it looks like most of the business is take out

Yeh ladies!!! I ordered the crunchy salad with Salmon. Yummy!! And my husband got the ahi tuna bowl. Service was very good. My only complaint was that I had to reorder my gin & tonic because the tonic was flat. This happens all the time at places like this- that have large crowds. Sorry but a good bartender should be looking at these things. I knew as soon as I saw my drink that it was flat. I could see no bubbles.i was nice, I took a sip first but there were no bubble. So I reordered and had to wait. The 2nd one was better but I think I got a lot of extra ice from the first drink. Who knows? I know restaurants make a lot of $$ from their drink, so they aren't happy when a drink gets return. So make it right the first time. My conclusion- not fine dinning but good. We are probably older than most who come here on a regular basis. 1. Suggestion, too many super spicy items on the menu. Spicy really isn't a taste, it's a sensation. Like putting my finger in an electrical socket. 2nd part- I moved my glass , remember the gin & tonic, now with A Lot of ice. I was going to take one last swig and the waitress whooped in a took it!!!!! What the heck? It wasn't like the place was full and they needed the table. I'm taking away 2 stars. Probably will not return.

The Asian cashier was quite ingratiating. Definitely a nice representation for the restaurant. We are a bit bummed. The owner who is there didn't drop by our table as she did with other diners to see how we were doing. We were concerned about the price of the sandwiches, because they mirror the prices of sandwiches in Los Angeles. There a sandwich is a la carte without any sides for the cost. Sandwiches there run $15 upwards. However, both sandwiches were quite tasty and the seeded role was delicious. A lunch special might be a good option for this place, so I would recommend that to the ownership. The sandwich shop is near the Palace theater.

The female owner & the executive chef was have a discussion about pay, or something, slightly unprofessional in a public setting. I ordered a salad, The salad was wrong twice, upon asking for a refund, the chef started arguing with me and had attitude. The female owner tried to de-escalate the situation, but didn't offer to make the situation. The chef was giving me dirty looks as was processing the refund. I won't be back to either of the establishment. The lack of customer service & accountability for making the food correct, was awful
