My husband and I have not been to a restaurant in over 6 months but last night was our anniversary so after hearing excellent reviews from friends about Tucci's outdoor patio I called for a reservation. Our first evening out was better than all my expectations - the food was outstanding and our server was friendly, helpful and professional. The table spacing on the patio and all the virus protections made us feel safe and comfortable on their beautiful patio. Thank you Michael and all your staff for a perfect dining experience ‼ read more

Definitely a great spot to eat outside and enjoy a cocktail before a nice dinner with many choices. Some ordered the angel hair pasta and it was a little spicier than expected. Dave, the manager, asked no questions, made no excuses and brought them a completely new meal! Everyone was helpful and really wanted us to be completely satisfied. I can't wait to go back to try other menu items. read more

Michael and staff were fantastic and we always love the patio seating. Nice wine selection and delicious angel hair pasta with shrimp and an interesting rigatoni with fantastic flavors. Love this place. read more

Mixed experience. The service was excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, but the food, quite frankly, was not very good. Started with bread that felt like day-old. My blackened walleye was a bland, sandwich-like affair that was tasteless. Nothing stood out as well-prepared. Not recommended. read more

This is a wonderful place for a delicious casual meal and/or get together. It can be as fancy as you want it to be. Today, we celebrated my daughter's 20th birthday on the covered, beautiful patio and had the honor of having Sullivan as our waiter. What a gentleman. He is truly an amazing person who made our experience unforgettable. The ladies in reservations are also terrific and so nice and accommodating for our party of nine. Thank you. We will be back. read more

Awesome place. Fancy and can be pricy. Their steak salad is really good and they have good wine selections. Outside is super cool with the nice tiki touches being lit in the warmer months. read more

We were very surprised and disappointed in our overall experience. We used to live near there and went frequently. I think they've really gone downhill in the last two years and it doesn't appear that they can keep up with the competition from the new restaurants that have opened as a result of the development across the River. They are charging fine dining prices for mid-range food. The food was always pricey, but it was on par with the experience. That is no longer the case. The top issue we had was the food quality/price ratio. Let me preface with stating we now live in New York and dine out in fine food establishments at least once per week. Two people ordered the fish special which was a red snapper with kale and served on risotto. They didn't tell the price, but our expectation was that it would be about $26. When we got the bill, it was $38!!! Seriously. It wasn't even good. In fact, it was horrible. It was like a dried-up piece of cheap snapper from a microwave bag and the risotto was chunky. That was higher than their small filet mignon and about $12 higher than their other fish dishes. Although we did not complain about the food or anything, after paying the bill, I mentioned to the waiter that he should tell the owner that the price on the fish was way too high for what was served. He got so angry and immediately snapped at me and addressed me like a child and said "I asked you if it was good and you said yes. If you had a problem, you should have said so. That's why I asked." I was blown away. We were not asking for them to take it off the bill. We had already paid. I told him that it was actually horrible and the other person at the table concurred. We then left. As for ambiance, in the bathroom, it used to be really nice. Now, it's like a gas station. They had a 2-foot tall Listerine and 2-foot soap on the counter in original packaging. For goodness sake,at the prices they are charging, I think they can buy some containers. read more

I had a good experience here even though there were not any vegan entree options (there was, however, one vegetarian entree option: Veggie Risotto). To my delight, Tucci's had a couple options that were easy to alter in order to meet my needs. I got the house salad (removed the cheese, added some veggies) and a side of fries. The waitress, not catching on to my dietary preferences, asked if I wanted chicken or some scallops on my salad, which prompted me to order their roasted bellas-- darn good choice! The salad was okay...it was small...maybe a little larger than a side-sized salad...and a little boring despite my adjustments. My dinner mates order the baked rigatoni and the sesame-walleye meal. Both seemed really pleased with their meals. A couple of us ordered their Riesling, which was fantastic! We finished the meal off with the pineapple and mango sorbet, which was also delicious. We were stuck in a booth near the entrance, which was awful because it was freezing outside and people congregated near our table a little too often for my taste. And, like I said, not a lot to choose from if you prefer to avoid meat or animal juices. Good place to go otherwise. Oh- and there is parking in the back of the restaurant... it's hard to find at night but it does exist. read more

Tucci's is my hands down favorite. Always top quality in food and service that never disappoints. Great wine list too. Wish they had a brunch-y item on their lunch menu, but that's my only gripe. Huge portions! read more

This is going to be a short review (for me), because I was taught not to say anything if I didn't have anything good to say well...I don't. So, my wife and I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now, and we finally had the opportunity to do so. We walk inside, which was, on a positive note, quite modern and well decorated. It took nearly three minutes for us to be recognized by either of the two hostesses and we were standing right in front of them. We did the usual, how many people. I replied "two" the hostesses replied "okay, what's your last name?" and was done with her sentence. So my wife asked "how long?" and the response was "there are three groups of people ahead of you." Now I ask you, dose that really answer the question? I don't think so. after further prying we got the response " 10 to 15 mint es, but keep checking back in." They took our name, did not take a number or give us a pager, but I am supposed to keep checking back in. Okay, you can see this is not promising at all. After standing right in front of the hostess station for about 15 or 20 minutes I checked back in, and the hostess forgot who I was, but thankfully a table was opening up for us. We were seated. Let's talk about crowded. one side of the table is a long bench with multiple groups sitting next to one another and the other side are normal chairs relatively close together. Whatever, we can deal with that, it's not my idea of romantic, but it is like being one close family. I hope you like the people sitting next to you. I waiter came over and simply said " do you want anything?" or at least that is all my wife and I both heard, I may be wrong because the place is loud and hard to have a conversation. So, anyway, we both asked for some waters. a few minutes later we were presented with our waters - fine. While we were deciding on our meals I was sipping on my water when my wife noticed that my water had a dead fly floating at the bottom- gross. Now, I totally understand that these things happen and easily fixed, so I am not bashing them completely, but I was just not impressed with things up to this point and nor was a pleased with the initial response from our waiter when we confronted him about it. He simply asked "do you want a new glass of water?" Okay, I am not a rocket scientist, but I think that is a bit too easy to figure out. So, he gave me a new glass. We then ordered our meals I ordered a pizza with pineapple (hold the pork) and an arugula salad. My wife ordered a seasonal pizza ( we are both still wondering what is seasonal about mushrooms, onions, and olives) and a Caesar salad, and a bottle of wine for us to share. The waiter returned to the table with our bread , which was the one true positive because it was very tasty and warm. At that time our waited informed us that because of the whole water thing that they would give us a free desert. That was more of the response we thought we would have gotten initially, but maybe because they were a little busy he was a bit distracted, a nice regroup non the less. I salad came out fairly promptly and, by no fault of the restaurant, I shouldn't have gotten the arugula salad it was too bitter, but the dressing and the candied walnuts were a nice counter. My wife seemingly enjoyed hers, the only problem was they were taken away a bit too soon, as in when our pizzas came. As for the pizza's neither were all that good, I liked the crust because it was fresh like the bread, but it was limp and non crusty, there was no sauce and the pineapples, were fresh, but way too sweet. So, far nothing impressed me about this experience. Next my wife decided to get dessert, so we ordered the pineapple upside down cake with a side of vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream. Eureka!! the one item that made me smile. Here is the last part of the story which was a happier ending then you would expect from reading the above. When our waiter came out with our dessert he announced that instead of paying for our dessert they were going to pay for our bottle of wine, which by the way was not cheap. (I guess they knew I would be yelping about this one, huh?) So here it is, the bottom line: The good: Nice atmosphere The server and not our waiter was pleasant to us every time he came to the table (i.e. when I said "thank you" he replied "it's my pleasure." and I believed him too. They comped our wine Pineapple upside down cake The bad: Hostess who do not promptly greet you or remember who you are Waiter who does not seemingly care if you are eating here or somewhere else (I will call him icey-hot as that was the feeling we both got from him) A pricey meal for just okay food quality without the wine our meal was just about 50 dollars (I call that price for pizza, salad, wine, and dessert) Claustrophobic seating And a pretty limited menu, I really was not impressed with my options So, I guess I am not going back unless someone else pays read more

Nice outdoor atmosphere with live music. We are inside because it was a little chilly for outdoor eating that evening. Inside was dark and intimate, with excellent service. We were seated next to the kitchen which was a little awkward as we were being served - I wonder why we didn't warrant better seating when inside was nearly empty...? That issue, though small, colored the entire meal and experience. read more

Everything about Tucci's is of the highest level of quality, but I'll be damned if the clientele here isn't one of the more obnoxious collections of pseudo-upscale suburbanites that I've ever encountered in my lifetime. Given the "downtown" Dublin location, it makes plenty of sense. In my opinion, this area is the epicenter of boisterous, credit card wielding midwesterners that feel like they're entitled to roll up to this place in their certified pre-owned Cadillac, tip the valet with pocket change, and loiter for hours on end while talking at decibel levels that would put the crowd at an OSU football game to shame. If you've lived in Columbus long enough, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Michael U certainly does, at least. If this is what life as an OSU alum-turned-townie has in store for me, then I need to get the hell away from this town as fast as possible. These middle management mavericks and their Boxster-driving trophy wives are giving this town a bad rap. Now that I have that rant out of the way, on to the reasons why Tucci's still gets four stars in spite of all that. Simply put, the food here is incredible. What I love about the menu is that it presents more of an Italian spin on traditional fare from other parts of the world as opposed to a bucket list of pastas and other staple Italian dishes that you'd find just as easily at The Olive Garden. My first meal here started off with an appetizer of blackened scallops, something I'd never dared to try before at any other restaurants. The strawberry vinaigrette that lightly glazed the scallops proved to be a huge payoff for this somewhat pricey ($10) warm-up to the main event. The garlic shrimp spaghetti I chose for my entree was both light and hearty at the same time, with a mix of peanuts and scallions in a citrus sauce perfectly topping a generous helping of fresh pasta and shrimp. At $18, I was confident that it was worth every penny I spent on it. So all in all, the food and dining atmosphere far outweighs the white-flight buffoonery that Tucci's unfortunately plays host to on weekend nights. read more

We were in Columbus visiting relatives, and went to Tucci's for an early dinner simply because it was a beautiful day, we happened to be there, and they had ample outdoor seating. It was a good choice. There were eight of us, and they moved two tables together to accommodate us. It was a Sunday, and they offer wines at retail prices on Sundays, which saved us quite a bit of money. We really didn't know what we wanted, and our ordering was disorganized and slow, but our waiter, Patrick, was absolutely unflappable and brought us everything we wanted as we ordered it. Virtually everything we ordered was excellent. They have something called a Canoe Platter, which is a plate of appetizers: blackened scallops, coconut rice cakes, fried plantains and sirloin tips. The scallops here are so good we ordered them four times. When a ninth person joined us, Patrick, without saying a word, took a chair from an empty table and set it at ours. He is a fine waiter, present as soon as needed, invisible otherwise, as if possessing a sixth sense. Prices here are average for a fine restaurant, mostly in the $15 to $20 range, although the delicious house salad was only $6. I recommend Tucci's very much. During our visit to the Columbus area, we dined at several highly rated restaurants, and Tucci's was easily the best. read more

Jersey is AMAZING! Fabulous customer experience! She genuinely cares about her cust omers!!

I ordered the chicken marsala for lunch as part of a spa package for The Woodhouse day spa. The food was ordered from Tucci's. It had to be the most uninspired, tasteless, bland, hard to chew dish I've ever eaten. Wow. The chicken serving was so small I thought they were the little fingerling potatoes. The chicken was also difficult to chew....it was as though they over cooked it YESTERDAY and then microwaved it for that beef jerky effect. Just gross. read more

Beautiful patio! Love their brunch and dinner. We can eat here gluten free no problem. We've always had great service and just love the location. Went here for dinner last night! I was automatically impressed by their wide selection of hand crafted cocktails and wine! I had myself the "Tucci Tini". The atmosphere was amazing and this was probably because of our server, Jersey! She was on point with service, made many suggestions off of the menu and was extremely patient when I was torn between the scallops and salmon! Appetizers came out hot and fast, entrees too came out out and perfect ass ordered. I did not ever have to ask for a refill of water or another drink, our server was on top of it all while taking care of all her other tables! I will definitely be coming back, and requesting JERSEY!! read more

Came here for a business dinner and was impressed especially with the service. Our group of 4 had a reservation and were well greeted. The place was super busy and am we had a reserved in advance. The atmosphere was nice although it did seem a little too noisy and overcrowded. On the food and drinks side, they have an extensive wine menu and great seafood options. We started with fried calamari which was absolutely top class. For the entree, I had the snapper which was good but not the best I had (I may be a little biased because I live in Florida which has some of the best seafood). Ended it with the creme brûlée which was pretty good as well. Overall, a good experience and I will be back. read more

Great dining experience this Monday. Attentive waitress, amazing wine list (we splurged on the prisoner zinfandel from the enoline wine dispenser), food cooked perfectly. I had the salmon which was delicious with amazing textures in the sides and my boyfriend had the shrimp pasta which we both loved. Entrees are $15 to $30 with drinks and salad about $40 a person. read more

Loved all the quality ingredients and the friendly service! Scallops were to die for!!! Not over cooked and perfectly seared. Canoe combo jumped all over the place with flavors and seemed like a lot of thought was put into providing savory snacks to go along with one's vino or martini choice...not filling...pricey...but yum! Ahi Tuna was recommended and cooked perfectly and had the right amount of sweet versus salty. However, very pricey for the amount of tuna. Still would *so* come back if in town again. read more

We went to Tucci's on a Saturday morning for brunch. This was by far the most amazing brunch I've ever had. I got the veggie omelet which was HUGE and the potatoes were amazing. My sister got the waffle, which was divine. For four of us, the price was good, especially for the amount of food and quality of service, which was great. Would definitely go back! read more

Lovely meal. We came here for my brother's birthday in a group of 8 adults and 1 baby. The service was excellent and they were very understanding when our baby daughter grabbed the empty wine glass the server set in front of her and sent it sailing across the room (embarrassing yes, but I ask you: Who sets a wine glass for a baby?). The food was wonderful and they did a great job of handling my food allergies so that I could have a nice, relaxing meal without worrying about what I was going to eat. All in all, we had a great dinner and will totally be going back. read more

We went to Tucci's to celebrate my husband's birthday. We enjoyed the intimate seating and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The wine selection is impressive and it was fun to try something new. I ordered the ahi stack which was very pretty, but the flavors were a little overwhelming - if I had it to do again, I would go with the ahi entree instead. My husband ordered a filet and the parmesan truffle fries (both were delicious). They treated us to a piece of silk pie for dessert which was a sweet touch! It was nice for a special occasion, but I don't think it will be at the top of our list for date night. read more

Very nice restaurant in Dublin,OH. It was a beautiful day, there was live jazz on the patio and the food was fantastic. I would not really categorize Tucci's as an Italian restaurant, just a restaurant that serves 'some' Italian food. I had a fantastic fish dish, from that well known Mediterranean fish the 'Walleye'. It was really very good and I would return the next time I am in town. read more

We have loved this gem for 15 years. Great wines which are NOT marked up 100%. Great fish always cooked perfectly. And... everything else is solid too. Have a great happy hour or sit outside on the patio and listen to music- good crowd even on weeknights and a locals favorite. read more

A reliable favorite. Every establishment understandably may throw me a so-so dish or two, but that surely hasn't occurred at Tucci's. My all-time favorite is their wood-fired roasted chicken, which is, quite simply, the best chicken meal I've had anywhere. Not just a convergence of planets, either, as it held-up to repeated dining experiences there. Unfortunately they regard it as merely a seasonal dish as there have been months pass when it doesn't appear on the menu. Possibly the oven-wood goes out of season, the chicken certainly doesn't. read more

The food was delicious! All the staff was very friendly and got all of our meals correct. Our waiter, Sullivan was wonderful! So cheery and genuine. The patio is beautiful as well! The front door looks like the handle is locked, looks like a lock door, not a push door, so it looked like another entrance was possible. Would definitely go back and recommend to others! read more

Main entree was outstanding, presentation was great (ordered the short ribs)...the service gets a 2/5, waited 6min to be greeted and seated during a slow time...waitress was not very attentive, Caesar salad presentation and portion was poor for the price point. My wife and tried to have lunch this afternoon on the patio. When we approached the hostess stand there was a single gentleman who was ahead of us who inquired about a seat on the patio. The gentleman who was acting as host replied it would be a few minutes as they were in process of clearing 3/4 tables. He was not asked if he had a reservation. (We were standing right behind him.) The gentleman then asked what we would like. A young lady, who I believe was the actual hostess, came over and asked if we wanted to dine inside and we indicated we did not. We told her we would like to dine on the patio since it was a beautiful day and we had just heard the gentleman say the tables were being cleared. However, much to our surprise, the young lady immediately asked if we had reservations and we indicated we did not. She then promptly replied it would be a 20-30 minute wait. She even turned and confirmed the wait time with the gentleman acting as host. He then confirmed the wait time. We were clearly confused and disappointed with this reply and gladly took our business to another restaurant. read more
