This was my first time at a Truerest facility and I was pleasantly surprised. I was nervous about falling asleep or being bored for the 45 minutes you're floating in silence (there's music at the beginning and end) but the time truly flies by and you'll feel immense relaxation. I really appreciated the intro video and facility tour. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questions before the session. The oxygen bar at the end is a great touch. We definitely will be back in the future.

I recently visited True Rest Float Spa, a newly opened establishment, and I must say, it was a fantastic first experience. The atmosphere was serene and welcoming, instantly putting me at ease as soon as I entered. However, as a first-time guest, I overlooked the recommendation to arrive 30 minutes early. Unfortunately, this led to a bit of a rush upon arrival. The float session itself was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The pod was spacious and clean, and the Epsom salt-infused water provided a weightless sensation that melted away any tension or stress. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at True Rest Float Spa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Also definitely try their tea and oxygen bar it was one of the highlights of my visit.

This was a great experience! Located in a shopping center with tons of free convenient parking, this floatation spa is a breeze to access! After arriving, my husband and I were issued spa sandals and watched a 5 minute video on what to expect during our float. After showering off, I slipped into my floatation cocoon and spent the next 50 minutes in bliss. The end of your floatation experience comes with spa music signaling it's time to get out and shower. The epsom salt leaves your skin silky smooth. You are also provided complimentary tea while you receive scented oxygen from their oxygen bar. Take advantage of the Groupon while it lasts, but they offer packages which gets the price down as well. I plan on taking my mother soon to aid her knee removal recovery.

My cousin and I went for some R&R on our girls night. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They were also knowledgeable on health and wellness products and self care resources. The facility was clean & kept well. Being our first time, we didn't know why to expect or how to prepare. Next time I know to bring my own swim cap and ear plugs. They sell caps there for $20. The ear plugs they provide are made of gummy type material which didn't work too well. I had a lot of salt in my ears and hair afterwards. Wear or bring loose fitting clothes to change into. No need to BYO music, is provided and you can't hear your own over a loud speaker at this location. I will defiantly consider returning.

At first I was hesitant to try it out, but I'm glad I did. When I first arrived the employees were extremely nice and welcoming; truly making it seem like a real spa. They switched out our shoes, then took us to a back room to watch an introduction video so we could really know what we were getting into. I did my research beforehand, but the video definitely added a touch of information. The directions are clear and the rooms are nice. They make sure to tell you it may take more than one visit to truly and 100% rest, which I am ok with. I would recommend wearing the earplugs because the water did get stuck in my ears after my first visit. The only downside was I couldn't play my own music because I don't think the system was set up at the time, but definitely excited to go back!

Easily the best float spa in the DC area. Beautiful facility, nice staff, most relaxed I have ever been.

In addition I was surprised to discover a wonderful community of like-minded people. I had previously done breath-work and always found it relaxing but their breath-work classes are next level. They also host really great specialty classes like sound baths and mini-retreats which are also amazing. April, the owner, is so welcoming and kind and makes it a point to know her clients and remembering their preferences. I love it here.

The owner April was so helpful showing me around the place and explaining the benefits and procedure for the booking. They have two bathrooms for changing, tea, showers to rinse between the sauna and cold plunge and nice towels. The whole place is simple yet trendy and relaxing. Starting with the sauna, I enjoyed that it was hot but not overwhelmingly so. The shower in between the sauna and plunge was fancy and got hot quick. The cold plunge had two different temps- one in the 50's and one in the 40's. You can decide to do a 1,3, or 5 minute plunge and I was able to stick it out for the 3 minute one. April kept me distracted and time went by so quickly. Overall I really loved this spot and hope to add it to my routine!

We showed up early as instructed, only to find the door locked. Lights off. No staff. Nothing. Their sign said Sunday "By Appointment Only," yet apparently even when you have an appointment, no one shows up. I called their Bethesda location, and the first receptionist claimed we weren't in the system--even though I booked on Wednesday at 2:22 PM (I checked my call log and took a screenshot). Someone took all of my details including my credit card, but somehow my appointment "didn't exist." Then the owner got on the phone and said she actually could see me in their system but didn't know what happened. She blamed a software switch on Tuesday... but I booked on Wednesday. So that excuse made no sense. Her only solution was to ask if we could come tomorrow. No, we actually can't--because unlike her business, we plan ahead. I took the weekend off from my real estate schedule to celebrate. We booked a hotel in Tysons, hired a dog sitter, and made a whole day of this. And it was completely wasted. What really stunned me was the total lack of care. No apology that felt meaningful. No attempt to make it right. No offer of a complimentary service. Nothing. I'm a business owner myself, and I would never handle a mistake like this this way. Our anniversary plans were basically ruined because this spa didn't bother to honor our confirmed appointment--or provide any real remedy afterward. Don't waste your time or money here. If they can't handle a simple booking, I wouldn't trust them with anything else either.
