This place is such a hidden gem, I almost missed it the first time. It's right near the Compass Realty office and Drybar in Old Town Alexandria, but the signage is small so it's easy to walk past. It's located on the second floor, on the same level as the barbershop. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and was able to use their bathroom across the hall to freshen up before my massage, which I really appreciated. All of the staff are female, and as a woman booking online and getting a random therapist, that made me feel very comfortable right away. My masseuse was incredibly kind and helpful, she asked which areas needed extra attention, which I thought was very considerate and thoughtful. Even though I didn't add any extras, my massage included hot stones, which was amazing and honestly such a nice surprise since that usually costs extra elsewhere. She also used heating pads on my back and even gave me a relaxing head and hair massage. After the massage, they gave me free slippers and a 2026 calendar, which was such a sweet, unexpected touch. The price alone makes this place stand out: $85 for a 60-minute deep tissue massage, which is significantly more affordable than most other massage spots in the area and the quality and cleanliness was absolutely there. I left feeling relaxed, cared for, and like I truly got my money's worth. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great massage in Old Town without paying luxury spa prices. read more

My husband and I somehow fell upon this place the day of, when we suddenly had some time for a date night, and they miraculously had availability for a last minute couples massage! The owner was so kind and helpful. Pricing was reasonable. Right away I was impressed with how clean the place was, and it smelled wonderful and welcoming. I have been here several times. It's a quiet place and the massage therapists are friendly. They are typically pretty punctual. I have had three different massage therapists. Sio Cheng Wong is not someone I will see again. She does not go deep enough even after requesting that she go deeper several times. The two times I had her she wasn't consistent. For example, she'll do my left food and hand, but forget my right foot and hand. I asked her to do the front of my legs because it's not customary for them to do that and she just did a bunch of pushing and pressing on my legs on top of the sheet. It felt like a complete waste of time and I felt more frustrated than when I went in. I will say I have had Jinchun Chang and she is excellent. I highly recommend her. read more

I've come to realize it's really hard to find a good massage place around here. I read reviews for this place this morning and decided to try it out. My massage was amazing!! Jeannie was my masseuse and I got a 1 hour Swedish massage with medium pressure. My body feels so much lighter after the massage. Jeannie was attentive to make sure I was comfortable and was very friendly. The facility is really nice and well maintained. Once you enter from street level, you will go up a set of stairs. The massage area is towards the back. There isn't a front desk per se so I was a little lost at first, but someone saw me and directed me where to go. The overall experience from walking in to walking out was great! Highly recommend and will be back! read more

Super upset. Called on a Thursday for a couples massage for Saturday and when my boyfriend and I showed up they didn't have us on their schedule. The schedule was on pen and paper which is fine but I didn't get a confirmation to prove that the person I spoke with on Thursday booked our appointment. Anna is excellent! She has the perfect touch for me, strong but not at all painful, and she is expert at loosening up the tight areas. And her disposition is quite pleasant as well. This is my second time going to Dahy on King and for the first time ever I left a google review last time, now I'm leaving a Yelp review because this place is THE. BEST. They've somehow gotten even better, with answering the phone by your name (a small but meaningful detail), and Ana remembered a small comment she had made to me months ago, which was really wonderful. On the massage: Ana is absolutely amazing, she knows all the pressure points and the ways the muscles flow and work in the body. The massage is of the highest quality and the space itself is luxe, relaxing, sparkling clean, and perfectly located in Old Town, *with parking*. I highly recommend the reflexology if you want to melt from relaxation, and deep tissue if you need to reset your body and mind. Both for 90 minutes if you want to get the full experience. DaHy on King is simply the BEST! I found DaHy on Classpass over the summer on a whim and I've been coming back here ever since. I've had at least 5 massages here and have never been disappointed. Each masseuse has been very attentive and always applies the EXACT amount of pressure I need. I typically get the 60 or 90 minute deep tissue massage, which includes a hot stone, essential oils, and heated eye mask. There's also some light stretching involved in the deep tissue massage at the end which feels incredible. I'm picky about my massages but I can say I always truly leave here feeling like a brand new person. And the space DaHy is in is very clean, comfortable, and zen. Clearly one of the best massages I've ever had - both relaxing and therapeutic. Ana is a PRO- she knew exactly what each muscle of my body needed, from head to toe (literally). It was a combination of deep tissue, hot stones, essential oila, and a salt scrub, which was a new (and fabulous) addition. It's a unassuming entry - but the space itself is lovely. This is a business completely owned and operated by women. I love it and strongly recommend it. I have had massages by both Ana and Wen actually since before they opened Dahy on King. I have horrible neck and lower pain problems, and they know how to do magic. Both my kids (age 22 and 17) have had massages by them. Ana and Wen can both do deep tissue (which helps me w my pain) as well as gentler, purely relaxing massage.
