This time, we went to celebrate a friend's birthday. The spa is super clean and the staff is extremely friendly and punctual. They have great prices and deals listed on their website. We each went for the deep tissue massage and boy oh boy was it deep! I had Lucy who was amazing. She asked if I liked stretching (I do) and the next thing I knew I was folded up like a pretzel -- it was amazing. She also used hot stones and I'm pretty sure she got up on the table with me to give me the most pressure she could give. I'm still feeling it today in the best way possible. If I lived closer, I would probably go at least two times a month, but if you are anywhere near the Canoga Park, you should go -- it's relaxing and ahhhhmazing!

I used to drive to silver lake from the valley because it's the only other place I trusted. Now I have this place less than 10 minutes away! I have serious medical conditions with my spine that give me grief. So massage is not just for relaxation for me- it's for pain management. Because I refuse to take any pharmaceutical medications. This was my 3rd visit over the past 3 months. I've had 3 different therapists. I can't remember the name of the 1st therapist I had. The second time I came I had Jenny and she gave wonderful hip stretches as a part of her massage that I really enjoyed and needed. She was good! She wasn't there tonight so I was given another nice woman instead. I almost don't want to say her name because I don't want her booked and busy when I want to come back! lol LILY!!!! Now I'm not even kidding you this massage was so good, out of nowhere I was lying on my back as she was doing my calves and feet and literal tears started coming down my face. I was so shocked. I was like OMG, am I crying right now?! YES- this massage was so healing and Lily's massage skills were so amazing that I cried!!! Quietly but still I cried. That's NEVER happened to me before. I spent the entire two hours so relaxed in her care that I even dozed off for a few minutes. I thought of every friend I know who loves massages and I'm like they have to come here and ask for Lily! She is a massage master healer! Blessed hands and feet and touch! I asked for medium-hard pressure and she was absolutely perfect. I felt like Goldilocks!! I have had a ton of massages in my life- and get them quite regularly compared to many people I know. So I've got some experience with good and also not great therapists and everything in between. For me- she was the perfect fit!! And I'm just saying ..slow tears of relief dropping down one's face during a massage has to be classified as the BEST massage I've ever had! Lily thank you!! If your masseuse is good TIP them well! It's not easy work. It requires a lot of energy and skill to be good at this job. Lily please never leave Lavender Organic Spa! I need you in my life!! I've found MY person! I even asked for her business hours to make sure when I book my next appointment she will be available!

I am writing to report a serious and disturbing incident involving one of your massage therapists…read more During a massage session, the therapist engaged in a sexual act commonly referred to as a "happy ending" with my boyfriend without his prior consent or request. At no point did my boyfriend ask for, agree to, or verbally consent to any sexual services. The act was initiated by the therapist, placing him in an inappropriate and unexpected situation during what was supposed to be a professional therapeutic service. I want to be clear and transparent in acknowledging that my boyfriend is also at fault for not immediately stopping the situation or saying no once it occurred. He takes responsibility for that failure to speak up. However, this does not negate the therapist's professional and ethical responsibility to maintain strict boundaries and to never initiate sexual contact with a client under any circumstances. Massage therapy is a licensed profession that requires adherence to clear ethical standards. Initiating sexual activity--especially without explicit consent--is a serious violation of professional conduct and client trust. Such behavior raises significant concerns about client safety and the integrity of your establishment.

Great place! I've been coming here for the last few years. Great value as well…read more January 2025 update: New prices, but not by much. It's around $5 more for a 1 hour foot massage. My experience in 2025 is the same as 2023. Read below... Dec 2023 Usually I go for the one hour foot massage. $35 for the hour as of December 2023. Make sure to tip well! I usually give $10 tip. Atmosphere: There is a water fountain dripping water noise, which is very relaxing throughout the whole experience. You also have some sort of soothing Asian violin-type music playing in the background. I usually just do the community massage area. Everyone usually has their eyes closed anyway. No big deal. You take your T-shirt off, but you keep your shorts or sweats on. I recommend coming here in a t-shirt and shorts just to make it easier for them to move around your body and work on you. Also, if you were a woman coming to this facility, you can get away with wearing your bra, and taking your blouse or shirt off. If you would like a more private area, you do have to pay extra for that. It's up to you. The actual Foot Massage: I highly recommend letting them use their oils, tonics and lotions on you. But if you want to go dry, that's totally fine. Just understand that you won't get the full experience if they're not using the massage oil on you. So... 1. They basically start with you sitting down on an ottoman, and your feet are in a bucket of warm water. They do your shoulders, a little bit of your neck, and the top of your head. 2. Your feet come out of the bucket, and onto the ottoman, while you lay on a lowered massage table on your back, stomach side up. They do more of your neck from underneath, your shoulders down to your hands and fingers. 3. They cover your torso with a towel/blanket, as they work on your feet and ankles, and your toes with massage oil. It's kind of like a cucumber melon type smell. Smells really nice actually. So after they do this area, they wipe you down with towel after towel after towel. 4. Then they move on to your thighs, top inner and outer. This is usually done dry, no oil involved, and the person working on you is using mostly their forearms and elbows. 5. The last step in the process is they flip you over onto your stomach, and they work your back, and your hamstrings. No use of oil here. Lots of pillows and towel changes in between. Very hygienic, and clean. Whenever they use oil on the body part that they use oil on, they always wipe it off after they're done with lots of towels. Pressure Level: If you know the pressure level you're looking for, definitely tell the person at the front desk to tell the person doing the massage what level you like right off the bat. If you want a more soft and soothing massage, kind of similar to Swedish deep tissue let's say, definitely ask for a woman to work on you. But even then, some of the women who work there have a very strong touch, so you can always say softer or harder, and they do understand you. If you're looking for that ultimate shiatsu, deep tissue bordering on Muscle fascia release, definitely get a guy to work on you. Most of the guys who do the massages here are strong, and I mean very strong. Their hands are like Vice grips. So you'll have to ask for softer or harder during the whole process. Etiquette: Just in general, make sure your cell phone is set to complete silent or even airplane mode before you get in here. A vibrating phone every 2 or 3 minutes is very disruptive as well. So just turn it off, please. In general, this is a great place to come to for a relaxing massage. Also a great date spot! Last pointer is, definitely ask for the multiple visit card, or whatever it's called. Basically you get a free massage after 10. So you're 11th massage is free. But I would still tip the person working on you! Don't skimp out. Note* They used to end the foot massage with a hot stone treatment. But they no longer do this. As of Dec 2023, it's a different massage entirely, called "Comfort" I believe. You'll have to pay $40 for this one, and it's a whole separate process if you want the hot stone massage. Still worth it, if that's what you want.
