The bed was warmed to my liking and again the actual massage was WONDERFUL!!! A few things made it not a 5 star. The fact that the massage room was very bright. You don't get that zen feeling when you walk in. When I turned over, despite having my eyes closed it was still bright. Some darkening curtains would make a world of difference. You can hear loud cars on the road (no muffler and police/fire sirens. I don't think a white noise machine would help, so if you don't fall asleep, maybe some ear buds with relaxing music. If you have a Groupon, you kind of are treated differently. I have used Groupons for about 90% of my massages yet here, despite using Groupons consistently, they just treat you in a different way....which brings me too Scheduling... all done via text, which as a new customer that is not the preference, I'd like to talk to someone...and clearly whoever I was texting was not busy, cause despite me asking for 15 mins as I had a conference call, they were engaged in the back and forth of texting. The groupon voucher had to be shared via a screen shot prior to even being allowed to confirm appointment (most massage locations just schedule and have you bring in the groupon). Despite those cons, I plan on coming back and having another massage from Ricardo.

I was specifically looking for skilled Licensed Massage Therapists, and their setup looked promising. I booked a 75-minute therapeutic session with Tatiana and it was far beyond "good." It was easily one of the best and most effective massages I've ever had! As someone who is knowledgeable about proper technique and tends to be quite critical, I was thoroughly impressed. Tatiana is simply amazing, and my only regret was not booking a full two hours! Tip for first-timers: The building is set back from Duke Street and isn't directly visible from the road, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find it. It is well worth checking out, and I will definitely be booking a 2-hour session with Tatiana on my next visit.

We started the massage and I told her I had pain on the one side of my body. I coach gymnastics part time and this catered to that issue. She focused on an area lower than that side the whole time and I kept reminding her my pain was higher. Also during my massage we were having basic conversation. When I told her where I was from she started talking about politics and abortion in that area. Little did she know I work as a pro life advocate. Very unpleasant and not relaxing for me. After I told her to not talk about that I just wanted to relax she got real quiet like she knew she messed up. Overall would not go back again.
