We started the massage and I told her I had pain on the one side of my body. I coach gymnastics part time and this catered to that issue. When I told her where I was from she started talking about politics and abortion in that area. Little did she know I work as a pro life advocate. Very unpleasant and not relaxing for me. After I told her to not talk about that I just wanted to relax she got real quiet like she knew she messed up. Overall would not go back again.

I sent a message on the website and heard back almost immediately. They had a spot open at opening time! Wahoo. I think it was the owner at the reception, and a woman provided my massage. I told them i did not want too much pressure but wanted more of a combination of light and deep pressure. After previously having had a deep tissue massage that hurt (at a different place), i wanted to make sure they knew before we started that i did not want that kind of massage. She really listened, and i had a wonderful massage that was just perfect for my needs. She asked a few times during the massage if the pressure was ok, and i appreciated being asked! She focused on the areas that I had said were bothering me - namely my neck and shoulders. But she also gave me a full body massage and some light stretching, which all felt great. I have had many many massages in my life, as it is something that I feel really helps keep my stress levels low and helps my tension in my shoulders since i have an office job at a computer all day. This was one of the best massages I have ever had, and I will be back! I don't know how much longer this will last, but they have a grand opening special going on, which was a nice perk with the reduced pricing. I will definitely be back and want to say thank you to the business for such a lovely massage! I will definitely be back!

However, this is only three stars because the last time I went, I booked with my girl and I get there and they tell me she's busy. So they will clearly just book you and not honor your therapist request. I was given another therapist, but I didn't really care for him. I'm also convinced that they don't change the sheets between clients based on what I saw the last time I was there. It's too bad because front desk staff is really nice and the therapist I had been seeing is absolutely excellent. However, my last experience left a lot to be desired.

As someone who suffers from chronic neck pain, I really need someone who can get in the muscle deep. So when I say I need a deep tissue massage, I mean I need DEEP. Most of the time, I have to direct my masseuse what to focus on and what I need in terms of pressure and most of the time they listen. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I was paired up with a female masseuse who was sweet enough in manner but didn't seem to speak much English so when I asked her to only focus on my neck or when I kept asking for deeper pressure, she was respond in agreement but then would proceed to continue doing what I asked her not to do. I specifically asked her to only focus on my upper back/neck area and not to do my whole body. She did work on my upper area but then proceeded to do the rest of my body when I asked her not to. I know they are trained to do full body massages but the purpose of getting a massage for a lot folks is to get some relief from pain or tight muscles with specific attention to problem areas. If I'm going to pay an inordinate amount of money for an hour massage, I'd rather not have it wasted on parts of my body I don't need worked on. Needless to say, I realized I can't get what I really need here, so while I appreciated the good service overall, I will continue my journey for a great masseuse elsewhere.

I requested a deep tissue massage, and she did not disappoint. She worked through multiple knots in my upper back that had likely been there for months and also addressed some lower back pain I'd been experiencing. At times, the pressure was a bit intense, but when I asked her to ease up, she adjusted immediately. After the session, I was offered a small bottle of water at the front desk. The total came to $85 (credit card) for a 60-minute massage, plus tip. Overall, a great experience--I would definitely request Miss Kitty again!
