I had an amazing time at true rest float spa. As soon as I walked in Courtney greeted me and walked me through everything that you need to be made aware of for your first time. I watch the informative video and then she took me on a tour of the facility. Going into it I was a little nervous to be honest but Courtney made the whole experience a delight. The experience of floating or something I can't quite describe. You have to just do it yourself. I thought one hour in a float tank would feel like 10 hours but actually it only felt like I was in there for about 30 minutes. Everything was clean the music was amazing, and I got to enjoy the oxygen bar afterwards. I had a great time and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. read more

Had a very relaxing afternoon at True Rest Float Spa. We were great with hot tea and spa slippers. Once we filled out our wavers, Jill (so Sweet) took us into watch a short video about what we were about to experience and helpful tips. Then, we waited in their beautiful relaxation room until our treatment. After we showered, you get into a room temp floating pod. You can listen to Spa music, you're own music or no music while floating. The float is so relaxing and tranquil. You really do forget about the stresses of everyday life. After the float, you shower again. They also have an area to dry your hair and get ready to go out. I loved the products they let you use. They had everything! We then met back up in the relaxation room where they have an oxygen bar and comfy couches. It was truly an afternoon of bliss! read more

I've been a member since April '17 and I still reap the benefits of floating at each visit. Everyone experiences various levels of stress depending on what is going on in their lives. I was first introduced to floating by a friend of mine for the purposes of meditation and relaxation. It took me at least 3 sessions to get used to slowing my mind down enough to see benefits from the treatment. Then I took a year off from doing them because, well, they are somewhat pricey. Fast forward a year, and I am in a lot of pain from working on a computer 60-80 hours a week from my lower cervical disks, down my shoulders, arms, and wrists. I know massage doesn't work that great and I noticed this location opened very close to my home so I made an appointment. I love that they will play your choice of music, and I have them change the music when my time is up so I wake up (because I normally fall asleep). This facility is very clean, well staffed and is actually affordable at 1 float a month for $60. You can earn points toward purchasing extra floats by booking again same day and referrals. Its up to you whether you leave the LED lights on or go in complete darkness. You can also close the hatch, or partially crack it open (like I do because I am claustrophobic but it will get chilly due to the drafts in the room). Music is also an option, the staff does a lot to make it a relaxing experience for you. read more

I have never given a bad review before. I am extremely disappointed. The first float was great and my husband and I loved it so much that we got a membership. We went again tonight for our second float and I was in excruciating pain due to laser hair removal a couple days prior. I only lasted 15 minutes in the pod and it was not enjoyable, relaxing or stress-free. I paid for 60 minutes so I asked if i could come back to use the 45 minutes. They said that there was nothing they could do & that I could just come again and pay the regular membership price for a another session. It would be more understandable if they were crazy busy, but we were the only ones there. I don't feel like they value their clients or their members. My husband and I both are canceling our memberships and would rather go somewhere where clients are more of a priority. read more

1st visit: I was greeted by Kyli and Jill both were very nice. I watched an information video. Kyli then proceeded to do a walk through of the site she was through and i found it very informative. I got into the pod and relaxed for an hr,, my suggestion is to try and relax, if you can just let your body go into limp mode, IMO you will probably get the best results. Once I got out of the pod, I had some water and house tea, I also decided to also try the oxygen stations, I did that for about 15-20 min and it was nice and relaxing. I was shown the membership packages, but decided to hold off on them for now, I would strongly recommend trying this if you have the any interest. read more

The float experience was OK; I'm sure it benefits some people. I feel a massage is far more relaxing and therapeutic for a similar cost. The sound quality in the POD is poor since it only comes from one direction. Consider providing an established place for clothing and belonging. The spa's decor and aroma is calming and inviting. The oxygen bar serves no medicinal purpose and is a modern day "snake oil." Scheduling doesn't not work online for members and the hours of operation have changed throughout the year due to Covid restrictions. This would be acceptable if membership fees were stopped during the shutdown. However, fees were auto-drafted throughout shutdown and the entirely limited re-opening which consisted of sparse hours of operation, "Bring Your Own Towel and Sandals," and please don't occupy the bathroom or common areas. After cancelling the membership, deadlines were established to use the floats that were charged during the shutdown. Extensive dialogue with management allocated extending the deadline till the end of the year. I called for appointments today but they shut down at 2:30 and had no accommodations. I requested to use our remaining floats on Saturday, but they refused because "the floats expire today and that's the policy." This poor level of customer service is the reason businesses fail. On a positive note, the front desk staff were always been friendly and professional. read more

I have wanted to try sensory deprivation for a few years now. At first it was for fun, but over time my interest was because of stress, anxiety, and depression. After some research, I found True Rest in Chandler. What an experience. First impressions go a long way, and I was contacted very quickly after I expressed interest in using their spa. Courtney reached out and set me up with an appointment, and was super helpful with questions I had and information I would need. I was nervous about being in an isolated tank with just my thoughts, but I am open to many things and wanted to give it a try. This place is amazing. I was greeted right away and given a tour, which is a super chilled out a relaxed environment. Any doubts or nerves I had were totally ok to have, I was assured, and if I needed to get out at any time I could. I didn't! Saw an ad for this place on groupon once, and ignored it. I am regretting that now! After looking into it for a long time I decided to treat my wife and myself to a float. We called Wednesday and they got us in Saturday as we wanted. Showed up and the staff was great. We arrived and I believe it was Casey and a young girl (she had a bad car wreck and told us about it which really helped me see what floating can do, but I can't remember her name so sorry!!) I wish I could give it 10 stars. From the welcome, to the waiver, to the tour, to the check out it was amazing. I was expecting to spend 90 bucks today, she helped me sign up for a membership so it was 60, which allowed me to take my wife out to lunch too! They really care about YOU, it's a business but they really do care about you not just the dollar. I have been part of Massage Envy and other massage places and its about turning them in and out not about the person. Love this place because they care, and want to get to know you. The young woman who helped us was amazing, so passionate and laid back. My wife and I were nervous so didn't say much but her excitement for floating rubbed off. The float was amazing. I have ADHD so it was difficult for me, however for the first time in a while my back isn't hurting. I had surgery 4 years ago and its been acting up. With chiro care and this I am hoping to starve off another surgery and after just one float I was able to walk further than before and shop with my wife with out being in constant pain. We have another float scheduled for next weekend and I can not wait. I highly recommend True Rest, I can't speak for all the locations but this one rocks! read more

I was fortunate to win a free float in a holiday giveaway they were offering on Instagram. I went today to use it. It was my second time ever doing a float. The first time was a few years ago and honestly I did not like it BUT I am SO glad I went back because my 2nd float was AMAZING! So I encourage you to go again if you have only gone once and didn't like it. Maybe it helped the 2nd time because I knew what to expect. But seriously give it another chance. As I was driving over today, a receptionist left me a message that I was nearly 15 minutes late. I called right back only to find out that I was supposed to be there 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment. How, might you ask, would I have known this critical piece of information? "We sent you an email and we called you." I found your email in my spam and there is absolutely no mention of a 30-minute prior to appointment arrival time. The only time on my email is my exact appointment time. I also reviewed my call log as I was sitting in your parking lot being chastised by the "manager" Hayley. You did not call me. I heard a lot of "I hear you" today and absolutely zero solutions. Your receptionist and manager lack empathy and are providing terrible customer service to new clients who could be referring your business to a slew of Gilbert residents. My favorite part of the call was when you told me I "could come in anyway, but I would have time deducted from my float." Thanks for not charging me the cancellation fee Hayley; you really over-delivered. I LOVE this place, the people who work here, AND the relaxing float. Jill and John are amazing people, and very helpful. Everyone on the staff I've met so far, which is only Kyli and Crystal, are so very sweet and caring. I came in to TRUE REST about 13 days after quitting opiates, which I took for 10 1/2 years for major back issues. Of course, my pain is worse now, but my brain is getting better everyday. When I came to TRUE REST, I was still in terrible withdrawals, including insomnia (2 hours per night for over 2 weeks), restless leg syndrome, neuropathy in my feet, and complete anxiety. I could feel ALL my blood coursing through my veins. I did a float on Thursday, and I couldn't believe when I slept 8 straight hours that night. On Friday, I was more relaxed than I'd been in weeks. I went again Sunday and Wednesday. Today is Friday, and I'm now 3 weeks post opiates, and I'm feeling more and more like a new person everyday. I have nearly no more withdrawals.... I believe TRUE REST has helped my body detox tremendously. I'll be going back weekly for now. I'm so pleased to say they helped me get over that horrible hump!!! Thank you Jill and John!!!! I've floated twice in the past, but it's been over a year since the last time. I guess was still on someone's mailing list and they contacted me for a free birthday float. Free?? No one gives away anything for free anymore, what's the catch? No catch! I couldn't believe it. So I signed up! So, my first few floats were okay, but I couldn't totally relax. Too much going on in my head I guess? This time I asked them to keep the music on so at least I had some "White noise" and guess what? Third time is a charm! This was by far the most relaxed I have ever been! I don't know if I fell asleep or was just in a deep state of meditation, but it was amazing! It's not a marketing scheme when they tell you that you need to try it a few times before you decide if it's right for you or not. Im a true testament that you really do need to give it another chance! They have membership fees that make it affordable and they often have Groupons as well. So, no excuse- try it out! I am absolutely in love with this True REST Chandler! The owner is so kind and warm. The staff is so sweet; checking on how my float was and how I've been feeling, and offering tea or water after my float. The atmosphere is amazing. The spa itself is clean and beautiful, with a peaceful oasis room to relax after your done. I originally came to check out what floating was all about, but my most recent visits were because I hurt my back and wasn't sure if I would be able to go back to work with the pain. I floated for seven days almost consecutively (one day in between day 4&5) and by the seventh float my pain was almost completely gone! I'd say 98% healed, and I thought this injury would have me out for at least a month. I would highly recommend this place to family, friends, and clients. read more

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS and beyond soothing. I've only floated 3 times but I've noticed after each float I feel 100x more MYSELF and who I truly am. I originally came to add additional healing to the chiropractic and physical therapy I was going through but I got so much more out of it.
