I don't write a ton of reviews, but this one's worth it. I had an incredible experience at True REST Float Spa. From the second I walked in, you can tell they take pride in what they're doing. The place is spotless, the vibe is calm, and everything feels intentional. What stood out to me right away was the staff. Super welcoming, very professional, and they actually take the time to walk you through everything so you're not guessing or feeling awkward your first time. They explain the process, what to expect, and answer anything you throw at them. The float itself... honestly, you just have to experience it. It's one of those things that's hard to explain but you feel the difference right away. Mentally and physically, I walked out feeling reset. I've got to shout out Keeley. She was/is amazing. You can tell she genuinely cares about the experience you're having. Because of how everything was handled, I ended up signing up for a membership on the spot... and completed my second float 48 hours later and I'm already planning my next session. True REST Float Spa is a really cool concept. My mom was visiting from out of town and wanted to try it so we went together. We were both interested in high concentration Epsom salt, sensory deprivation, and relaxation. But unfortunately we both ended up not loving it :( It was super easy to schedule an appointment, they have a great introductory offer for first time floaters, Keely was amazing at explaining everything to us, and helping to manage our expectations and answering our questions. I love the salt lamps inside! You shower before using the pod, hear music for 15 minutes, then float in darkness (there is a light if you choose to use it) and silence for 40 minutes, then music comes back on for a five minute warning before it's time to get out. The water is skin temperature but I was actually a little bit cold during my float. I tried floating without using any support devices but decided to use the halo when I started to feel some tension in my neck. At one point I did get some salt water in my eye and it does burn pretty bad but they have a spray bottle and washcloth to rinse it out. The reason I didn't love it is really no fault of theirs. I had a hard time quieting my mind. Maybe if I didn't have so much going on, I could have quieted my mind and had a more peaceful experience. I was also a little bit cold so I kept moving around to try to submerge the cold parts of my body to warm up a little. I didn't mind the humidity in the pod and didn't have trouble breathing but my mom really didn't enjoy that part. I got a little nauseated afterwards and chose ginger and mint oxygen scents to try to help with the nausea. Keeley was so accommodating and let me change my sense a couple times. My husband and I were gifted 60-minute float sessions at True Rest Float Spa and had an amazing experience. From start to finish, the customer service was excellent and the entire space was spotless. Each float room had its own private shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plus towels and ear plugs were provided, which made everything feel so easy and comfortable. The float pod itself was incredibly relaxing--especially at seven months pregnant, it felt like pure relief. Afterward, there's a getting-ready area with so many thoughtful amenities like lotion, deodorant, leave-in conditioner, hair products, and blow dryers. Stress is common in our day-to-day and self-care is vital and rest float sessions have been my favorite find in the last couple of years. It is amazing to have a deep-tissue massage then visit for a rest float for muscle recovery. Chronic pain does seem better managed, and love having a monthly float membership. Definitely worth trying out! Shout out to Jasmine and the team for always being friendly with me trying to find the perfect song for my floats though struggling to regulate routinely. I visited this float spa and was VERY disappointed. The staff was nice, but forced me to listen to a very basic and naive introduction into the benefits and goals of floating. This location appeared clean until I was in the private room with the pod. It smelled strongly of mildew (like an old hot tub that needs its water changed). This smell only got worse as inclined in the pod and shut the lid. I used earplugs and cleaned my ears out afterwards with peroxide, but still had salt and who knows what else crackling in my ears for weeks after the float. The main reason for 1 star is the predatory contract agreement you sign when paying for membership. You will always be charged an additional month from when you want to cancel. And they give you six months to use your floats, funny because anyone cancelling a membership will likely never return again. This company is taking advantage of people looking to improve mental health and I recommend staying far away. read more

Clean Spa Feel, Friendly Staff Service: Carina was super friendly and greeted me warmly. She gave the the tour and got me all set up. She gets 6 out of 5 stars. Float Room: The float room was nice and had a quality spa feel to it. I like the private room with a cool shower with cool pebble tile. 5 Stars The Tank: The tank was clean, I was a little tall for the one I was in, next time I will ask for the taller person tank she let me know they have after I was done. I had feet and head touching most of the time... 5 Stars The Float: I didn't really have a preconception of what I expected overall, I went in with an open mind and tired body. The water is super buoyant, a bit warmer may have been good for me since I run hot for a human already. I opted for total darkness and no music. In hindsight music at least probably would add to the experience, maybe light too, it sure. I shall try some of this next time. I felt relaxed and calm my first 30 minutes. Then the next 15 minutes my mind wandered a bit and I was daydreaming in the dark. The final 15 minutes I felt like I maybe was already there 60 minutes and needed to take a pee... lol... All in all I am not sure how to rate the tank after my initial experience so I will give it 3.75 stars out of 5 for now. Oxygen Bar: The oxygen bar was interesting, it sure how I feel about it yet. I liked the aroma they add to it for a little relax moment after the tank. They give you a clean nose tube, so don't worry, it's not used by someone else's nose prior. TBD Super Tea: TRY THE TEA! They have the best tea I've ever had with licorice in it While you are in the oxygen bar too! I think I need a bigger cup next time! 6 out of 5 Stars! Salt Lamps: There is definitely a theme of salt lamps going in here. Bathrooms: Clean bathrooms are a most appreciated perk... All in all I can see how someone would enjoy this after a long week to be isolated in peace and quiet. I will explore this further and amend my review to my more experienced findings... I was conflicted on my chosen rating since the service was superb but I'm not sure about the floating yet for myself. PS: They have memberships which are a better deal if you plan to go regularly. They are month too month so you are not stuck in a long term contract forfeiting your arm or leg upon cancellation. read more

I was happy to get a gift card for a float spa session. I was very disappointed to hear that I could not make an appointment unless I gave them a credit card. They explained that it was to cover any damage I might do to their float spa. I thought they had liability insurance as all businesses do. When I asked for a refund for the gift card, I was told they were nonrefundable. Not the kind of business I want to take part in it's difficult to make an appointment there are days that are blocked off for various reasons and they're just not easy to work with. Love to come here and float! Clean, good customer service, relaxing atmosphere. I enjoy it a lot. It reminds me of what I experience in Yoga Nidra. Deep relaxation. I start out with my pod light on dark blue, and then eventually turn it off. It is interesting to see that sometimes being in the complete darkness brings up some fear, but I breathe and move past it. Feels like a great release. Be sure to cover any hangnails with the provided vaseline. That salt water burns like a mf-er! I always feel amazing afterwards! Like I have been detoxed and renewed! Highly recommend! read more

I'm hooked on floating! I decided to try True Rest after I saw they were on Groupon and I will definitely be making this a monthly treat. The staff and the facility are awesome, like other reviews mention. The facility is super clean and the staff are attentive and helpful with whatever you need. I tried it out of curiosity -- like everyone else, I'm sure. I half-expected a weird sort of psychedelic experience but for me, that isn't what floating is. I'm a veteran and have random joint aches, but floating really takes all of that away - at least for a little while. If you have tinnitus like me, opting for one of their music tracks or even bringing your own is a good way to rectify that as well. Otherwise, you're really alone with your own thoughts, which can be really nice as well. For new floaters I think going in with no music is 100% the way to go. There's loads of epsom salt in the water with you, hence the buoyancy. But it's really important that you do NOT even consider touching your face! They mention it in the video, but it can and will absolutely ruin your float if you get salt in your eyes. They do provide squirt bottles with fresh water in case you forget, and it's hard to do. They also have an oxygen bar which I like, but it's nowhere near as relaxing as the float is. I've done this once and while I'm glad I tried it, I could go without the oxygen. Ok, I was a member, but recently cancelled due to other extracurricular activities and had to balance the budget...something had to go. HOWEVER, I wanted to comment on the great customer service (family owned business) and how easy everything is. My cancellation process was very fast and not a hassle. Everyone I've spoken to at two different locations has been super helpful and professional. The experience itself is very unique and worth trying at least once. I did really well on my first float but my second float was iffy--I think I was trying too hard. I have a few left to use up and they give you plenty of time to do so if you cancel. I wouldn't hesitate to sign up again if our priorities change. Definitely worth trying. Entering the state of mind where you can't tell if your awake or sleeping was really cool. read more

I tried TrueRest Float which visiting Arizona last week. The facility is amazing and the people are great.. I found this point to be a game changer.. I called the store twice and got the voice message system. After going through the online booking system I decided to just drive there and figure it out when I arrived A moment later Carlos called me back and asked if I had any questions. I booked my float with him easily for that evening. Maggie and Carlos were very helpful .. top marks for being genuine people. Although I know how to float , they offered advice and gave a good overview the amenities and equipment. The pods are awesome..no leaks .. the meditation music is great , and they can customize the experience to your needs. In this crazy Covid world where I usually get yelled at for not wearing a mask.. its a refreshing experience to meet staff who are generally interested in working for good companies.. Ive decided that when an employee is cranky with you as a customer, the company they work for, is to partially blame. My sister had purchased 2 float vouchers for me for my birthday through Groupon. I missed the expiration date before I had a chance to use them by 4 days. I called and asked them if they could still honor them since it's on been 4 days. I still have the Groupon that shows I hadn't redeemed the Groupons, however, they wouldn't honor it. So now $90 of my sister's money is wasted and a gift that she really wanted me to do since I suffer from chronic stress. They offered me to pay the promotional rate of $45 which is the same as the Groupon rate. Why would I want to purchase it again when my sister already paid $90 for it. I am extremely disappointed in this business and I will never try it now. I also will not recommend it to any of my clients, friends or family. There is always a way to make customers happy. There is always something that can be done. Wish I could have used the vouchers and gave a great review. How disappointing! read more

I have been floating here for about 2 years now and it has helped me in so many ways. Helped with body pain, anxiety, skin conditions, hell even the best nap of my life! All the staff is so accommodating and kind. Being able to play specific stations on Pandora for my float and bringing me a nice cup of tea to enjoy in the Oasis room. I will say though one of my favorite things about this location against others is the cleanliness of the location and attention to detail. I had my third float on 12/23/19 and I can honestly say the experience was much more rewarding than my first two floats. My first two floats provided me calm and relaxing experience but after my third float I felt more energized. I highly recommend flotation therapy! I am martial artist / business owner love what I do , but am under a lot of stress due to the in & outs of owning my own business. Typically I get about 8 hours of sleep every night but since I sleep on my stomach most day I wake up with back pain. Needless to say that I wake up not feeling rested. I was able to float for the first time and truly enjoyed it. I felt super rested after finishing my 1 hour float ( 1 hour felt like 25 minutes) . When you hear floating in the dark for 1 hour sounds a bit daunting. Seeing is understanding: You are in control of the environment. Your pod is a private room with shower. You control lights sound/music and can leave pod door ajar or completely open. This establishment is very clean and organized. I love True REST! I have been a member for 2 years. I love the whole experience. The pods are clean and sanitary. The showers are nice and hot. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. The people are always kind. Floating has helped so much with the tension in my upper back, shoulders and neck. It's also been such a good practice to quiet my mind and body, even in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. I love the membership option because the floats roll over. I have given several to friends who wanted to try it and they always rave about it as well! It was not only restorative for my joints but incredibly relaxing and mentally therapeutic. However, the reason I wanted to write a review is because I went during the pandemic and shortly after. It was so clean and the front staff were at the Chandler location were nothing short of spectacular. They were helpful, thoughtful, did whatever they could to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The owners of this Spa have found a way to hire the very best staff (and no, I don't know them).
