I love going to true food kitchen! I always feel so healthy ordering anything off the menu because the ingredients are always . The drinks are also the best. The space is pretty large. You dont have to worry about being cramped next to another table. Always very open and airy. I went recently and had Adriel again as my server. You can tell he is a really good egg . Always so kind and thoughtful in his recommendations (don't think I've disliked anything he recommended). I once ordered a tuna bowl and they did not have any more tuna and he recommended the salmon and it was . Will continue to patron this place cause it's just that good! read more

So happy to find healthy food places around! We went around 4pm and we were surprised to see the crowd at that time. The interiors are cute and charming. We started with corn flatbread which was great! Crispy, wafer like light and flavourful. I ordered my usual salmon and I'm so happy that it was not just healthy but tasty as well. I love well cooked Salmon! Not flooded with sauces and garnishing. Mr. ordered the panang curry , we liked it but did not love it as much. I still love True Food Kitchen. For reals. The menu is seasonal so some items rotate but I've never had anything bad here. I love how local, fresh and veggie forward many of their dishes are. Some ingredients are local and organic while others aren't but still fresh and healthy! I do think their portions are too small for the price they charge. This place isn't cheap. One of the best spots if you're on a health kick, don't eat processed foods and want a genuinely healthy meal outside your home. read more

Saddest $16.95 breakfast taco I have ever had. At least dress the taco, add some more seasoning or add a bit more avocado. I could've gotten better food at a taco truck than this. I came here for dinner on a Saturday night, we had the buffalo chicken sandwich, pepperoni pizza and banana nut chocolate chip cookie w/ dairy free ice cream and all of them were delicious! This was my third time at True Food Kitchen, and I was completely shocked that I have yet to write a review! Everything I've had was delicious, including my most recent visit, where I enjoyed a recently added menu item.. True Crisp'd Tenders, with a fauxijto. The kale slaw was delicious to the last bite, and the awesome sauce (ketchup, mayo, lemon juice) was a great compliment to the crispy tenders! Stacy was very attentive and friendly, and the bar seating is very roomy.. my favorite place to sit, honestly. Quick service, and more than enough space to enjoy a meal, even if others are sitting next to you. I've tried something different every visit, and I've never been disappointed! read more

So it started out good. Server was very friendly, we got seated outside which we wanted (with our dog), but it was all down-hill after that. It took 45 minutes for the food to come and when we asked the server why it took so long (it was not crowded), she said they were down servers. We then had to watch everyone seated outside, including ourselves, traverse inside to flag someone down for the check after sitting for 20 minutes with nobody checking on us. The food was dry and over-seasoned. Also, meal for 2, not including an app with 2 drinks, came to $90. We then asked for 2 cookies to go, which we thought may be on the house considering the terrible service....but alas, they had enough servers to ensure they edited the check to charge us. read more

Came here for HH with a friend and they have a nice decent selection to choose from for food and cocktails. Upon walking in, I just loved the vibe here - very light and airy which fits the theme of the food. Also very spacious, clean and easy to find parking. They have many organic options even for the cocktails which is always nice, I definitely feel less guilty lol. We tried the Dip Duo, Chicken Street Tacos, Meatloaf Sliders, Chili Cuke Crunchers and the Rose Sangria. Everything was pretty tasty and I love the HH prices. We sat at the bar and our server was excellent, he was very attentive and we were there for couple hours catching up. Definitely would come back! read more

It was okay. The ambiance was beautiful and really open and airy. The food was..okay. I had the steak, definitely not worth it, but i might try the pizza or other options. The food was hearty, but was definitely not impressed. The fingerling potatoes were really good, and would recommend. They were honestly the star of the meal. The service was okay, I guess. The server forgot our pitcher, but other than that it was okay. Like I said, it was a bit of a let down, hopefully the next time it'll be better. read more

I stick with all my comments from my previous review: good ingredients, atmosphere, service and food, prices aren't cheap but feel like it's worth it. New observations include: 1. From ordering to getting food, there was a long wait. I was ok with this since I wasn't looking for fast food per se. 2. We made a reservation but still had to wait over 10 minutes. There seemed to be a few empty tables so not sure what the rationale is. I was also fine with this overall. Also another couple who came in were told the wait was over an hour. 3. Food can be a little spicy (for people who can't really take the heat) like the Hawaiian fried rice and ancient grains bowl so water was key. The fried rice was really unique. 4. I wish I could give this place a better review as I love the concept, but time and time again it's been really horrendous. The service is just awful. Always super slow, entrees come staggered, always missing something or getting something wrong. My final straw was the last time I went and I had almost finished my salad only to find a piece of a rubber glove in my food. The worst part is, the manager came over and said we'll take the burger off the bill. Really?!! I used to be a GM and I would have comped the whole meal for that type of negligence. That was my last straw. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. The execution of this place is just awful. Management is pretty awful since the original manager left for maternity leave and never came back. They really need to do better. read more

09/30/24... Back again! Still love this place. We started with the charred cauliflower (medjool dates, harissa tahini, dill, mint, pistachio) as an appetizer. SO good I 'googled' the recipe and am going to try it tomorrow. My wife had the Lasagna bolognese, which she loved... as did I enjoy my Thai curry bowl again, this time with their Nashville crispy chicken (air fried). (Would have liked a bit more curry in the dish, but it won't stop me from ordering again. A glass of Sauvignon blanc and great service... good to go! read more

We came here as a large group with a bunch of small kids. The restaurant was very accommodating and patient with the kids. Its got a modern kitchen feel with a nice outdoor seating area as well. For a Saturday night it was relatively empty. I started with the pineapple jalapeños margarita. It was well made and definitely a strong drink. We ordered the cauliflower app. It was dressed in a boom boom like sauce and had a nice sweetness from the dates. The kids enjoyed the sour dough pizza and the red sauce pasta. They should offer more for the kids menu like a side and drink like other restaurants do. I got the vegan burger. They were able to switch out the vegan cheese for regular one since im not a fan of vegan cheese. It was a double patty made of beet, mushroom and walnuts. It was a hearty and healthy burger but I wish the jalapeño sauce was a bit spicier. The accompanying fries were ok and I wasn't really a fan of the side sauce. The others said the guacamole was good. There wasn't much left over so id say our group enjoyed the meal. I wish they would be quicker with the service and understand that kids meals should come out before or during starters. read more

I liked the corn soup and would order it again, although I wish they would use less pepper. I loved the Korean noodle bowl, especially the sweet potato glass noodles. Glad I requested the sauce on the side; I liked it but used it very sparingly; the dish has a lot of flavor without the sauce. The mushrooms tasted like they had been marinated in that sauce, and I wish they hadn't done that. I also wish they used less oil in the dish. Sweet potato hash is a winner. Very flavorful. Be careful while eating it; I pulled a 2" thin stem out of the dish that I assume was from herbs added to season the dish (thyme, perhaps?) Every time I order from true food kitchen, I must order the edamame dumplings. So good! But I like the dish better when I request the sauce on the side and I use very little. read more
