I had a problem with my heater in my air-conditioning unit on the roof of my condo building. The fan was working but the air was not hot. Eli showed up on time. He had texted me to give me a ETA which I appreciated. He was totally professional from the start. He went right to work removing the correct panel to get to the area that needed to be addressed. I stayed and watched. He impressed me immediately with his knowledge. Within a short period of time he was able to eliminate areas that were not causing the problem. His prices were very reasonable and he impressed me with his patience in answering questions and helping me decide on the right system for our home. The system has been working great since then. Recently, we had some remodeling done and our AC did not work when they were finished. We called Eliseo and was able to quickly spot the issue (which was our contractor's fault) and fix the system. He was at our home for an hour and would not accept any money, even though it was clearly our contractor's fault. Pregnant stay at home mom with a 1 year and Eliseo has decided to completely ignore our messages and calls after we agreed to pay his $945 price yesterday to finish a job he started last year. Some back story....our AC was stuck last year and we had him come in being that he is familiar with our building and all tenants use him for all of our issues and maintenance. He seemed like a very nice guy, and knowledgeable...well he gave us one price then...once that job was finished he added more fees, which we agreed to. After he finished that, he again told us another part needed to be replaced and it was going to cost an additional almost $1000 (already after about $800 we had spent)...so we had to pass at the time. Fast forward, we are here with the same problem. He came in with a pleasant demeanor willing to help and offered to come the following afternoon to finish the job. He explained the part was going to cost $97 and then gave us a total of $945!! My husband obviously, and I think understandably, had to ask how that price jumped (labor was going to cost $800+???), at which point he said he'd pass on our service (after already investing $800+ in his work...he flipped a switch and decided to completely ghost us....very disappointing. We've tried texting, calling, begging and this guy doesn't seem to give two shits...we just wanted the job to get done because our place is so hot and we have a baby at home. Very unprofessional..as homeowners, we will be going to our HOA board with this complaint.... read more

It's so great to have a fast, friendly and reliable HVAC specialist so close to our condo in Pasadena. Our unit's heating system was blowing cold air on some of the coldest days in December and early January. Having called other HVAC technicians in the past we were used to being overcharged. I had Freon leak losing refrigerant which did not get resolved using leak sealer and the Freon was leaking via fan coil and coming through vent. Had several estimates on installing central A/C and heat in my parents house. These guys explained the pros and cons of different a/c units and differences in cost, one larger unit versus several smaller units, furnace types, etc. and answered all my questions. As I had several estimates I was able to compare info they gave me against other companies and these guys not only underpriced the others (without seeing their estimate cost) but showed up on time, were professional and most of all clean and respectful of my folk's home. Definitely PROFESSSIONAL and know what they're doing. I also happened to have a problem with the water heater that I casually mentioned, and they fixed that too for free once they finished the a/c and heater install! Overall, they had to install an entire a/c and heating system into a 70 year old house that only had a wall heater. They crawled around in the small attic, installed vents, did the electrical, installed all units, and made it look like it was all part of the original house. No weird unlevel vents coming out of nowhere or anything like that. QUALITY job, great HONEST pricing, and a pleasure to deal with. Now my folks are cool in the heat and snug in the winter.
