I have been very worried as I cannot afford a new air conditioning unit, it's like $6000 Contacted Eliseo From TruCom HVAC They came all masked up and such a great guy I am hoping to get another year out of it and that was made possible because of his service. He had to buy parts and with extra labor I thought it was going to be a lot more than they charged Possibly the best value for money I have ever paid, and he did not want to accept a tip. These guys were incredible I encourage everyone to get a service from Eliseo $85 before summer hits Look at what he did and only charged me $185 read more

I had a problem with my heater in my air-conditioning unit on the roof of my condo building. The fan was working but the air was not hot. Eli showed up on time. He had texted me to give me a ETA which I appreciated. He was totally professional from the start. He went right to work removing the correct panel to get to the area that needed to be addressed. I stayed and watched. He impressed me immediately with his knowledge. Within a short period of time he was able to eliminate areas that were not causing the problem. It turns out it was not necessary to replace any parts. Eli just fixed the thing that had gone wrong. He did it all in a very short time period. He strikes me as totally trustworthy and totally competent, as well as being a friendly guy. I would recommend him to anyone that has an airconditioning/heater problem. He is what one looks for - super competent and super trustworthy. read more

I wanted to write a review for TruCom HVAC and Eliseo because it's very rare to find very trustworthy, professional, honest, and kind people to work with. These guys have helped repair and replace my HVAC units at my personal residence and at my rental buidling in Pasadena with fair prices and excellent service. I have also referred them to neighbors and friends who have also been very happy with the company. I'll be a loyal customer for as long as they remain in business. High recommendation. read more

Eliseo was prompt, courteous and found my noisy machine was just built that way and didn't need any fancy service. He offered to do a general maintenance but also told me how to do it myself if I wanted to save some money. He's there to fix problems not to make up reasons for you to pay for things you don't need. I was very impressed and will call him for any HVAC issues in the future. read more

He came out the next day, was familiar with the building configuration and quickly repaired the issues at a very reasonable cost. I work in property management and look forward to using Eli and TruCom for more than just my personal home needs. read more

I have worked with Elesio and TruCom for years first as the President of a 94-unit HOA in West LA and now as a homeowner. Elesio and his team are honest, always available, and extremely knowledgable. Eliseo was recommended by my HOA manager to install a new HVAC system in our condo in 2016. His prices were very reasonable and he impressed me with his patience in answering questions and helping me decide on the right system for our home. The system has been working great since then. Recently, we had some remodeling done and our AC did not work when they were finished. We called Eliseo and was able to quickly spot the issue (which was our contractor's fault) and fix the system. He was at our home for an hour and would not accept any money, even though it was clearly our contractor's fault. He said he wanted to make sure we knew it was a reliable, quality system and that he'd stand behind his work. I wish every contractor were as honest and service-oriented as him. read more

I don't write reviews, but had to make an exception in this case. Eliseo and his team are outstanding professionals. Not only are excellent at installing HVAC units and servicing older ones, but they are pleasant, clean and courteous. Eliseo provides a thorough, complete estimate upfront, a complete timeline of payments (no surprises!), and arrives on time, every time. I live in an older house with a tiny crawl space, yet he completed the job on time. Highly recommend this company. read more

The AC in my condo broke down recently and it's been a hot summer. I need to get things fixed but I didn't know who to call. However, the moment I spoke to Eleesio on the phone, I felt a genuineness that is so rare and valuable. I still shopped around. But at the end, I called Eleesio again. I felt it would be best to get TruCom to do the repairs. I'm so glad I did! Eleesio is extremely kind and honest and everything was fixed in one morning. He also took the time to educate me on my AC unit, everything that went wrong, and what I need to do to maintain it. From now on, TruCom will be the ones I call to service my unit. They are reasonable, friendly and trustworthy. I'm so glad I found them! Thank you, Eleesio!! read more

It's so great to have a fast, friendly and reliable HVAC specialist so close to our condo in Pasadena. Our unit's heating system was blowing cold air on some of the coldest days in December and early January. Having called other HVAC technicians in the past we were used to being overcharged. Not with TruCom...he came over on short notice and had our heating system checked out and working properly. We're very glad we found him and will be relying on him to keep our "older" system running well for as long as possible. Plus, he's a really nice guy! read more

Pregnant stay at home mom with a 1 year and Eliseo has decided to completely ignore our messages and calls after we agreed to pay his $945 price yesterday to finish a job he started last year. Some back story....our AC was stuck last year and we had him come in being that he is familiar with our building and all tenants use him for all of our issues and maintenance. He seemed like a very nice guy, and knowledgeable...well he gave us one price then...once that job was finished he added more fees, which we agreed to. After he finished that, he again told us another part needed to be replaced and it was going to cost an additional almost $1000 (already after about $800 we had spent)...so we had to pass at the time. Fast forward, we are here with the same problem. He came in with a pleasant demeanor willing to help and offered to come the following afternoon to finish the job. He explained the part was going to cost $97 and then gave us a total of $945!! My husband obviously, and I think understandably, had to ask how that price jumped (labor was going to cost $800+???), at which point he said he'd pass on our service (after already investing $800+ in his work...he flipped a switch and decided to completely ghost us....very disappointing. We've tried texting, calling, begging and this guy doesn't seem to give two shits...we just wanted the job to get done because our place is so hot and we have a baby at home. Very unprofessional..as homeowners, we will be going to our HOA board with this complaint.... read more

Eliseo and his staff are highly recommended for HVAC work. I had Freon leak losing refrigerant which did not get resolved using leak sealer and the Freon was leaking via fan coil and coming through vent. Eliseo helped with the entire work removing existing leaking fan coil, purchase new one, reinstall. All work are done very professionally and the job detail is through, done with extreme care. Also Eliseo and his team leaves the place super clean after performing the work. Good communication, on-time and highly recommend. read more

I work for a property management company and have used them for all the properties that we have. Leese, the owner, is as straightforward as it can get. He will tell you what is wrong and what needs to be done. No over selling. If it's not broken, he'll tell you. no second guessing. Oh and did I say they only charge for what they do and have the best prices out there. So if you need someone to take care of your HVAC system, Leese is the guy to go to! read more

Leese is the best, he is honest and very dependable. I first came across TruCom HVAC a year ago, April 2015. I had gone with another HVAC installer and got hosed. Leese came in and corrected the poor excuse of an install made by the first contractor. Fast forward to now, I recently called him up for service and like a true professional he was there on time and provided great service. I highly recommend TruCom HVAC for all your cooling or heating needs. Thanks Leese. read more

You will never find a better, more professional or more courteous HVAC technician than Eliseo Marinero at TruCom HVAC. I live in a 2 unit condo and I had problems with both my heating/AC unit in the basement and the venting for the washer/dryer which is in my unit. I had two other companies come out to give me bids but then the president of our HOA said the building uses Eliseo at TruCom. I gave him a call and he came over the next day. Eliseo is without a doubt one of the most careful and courteous persons I have ever met. A true professional. His work is careful and he makes sure he doesn't hurt your floors, your walls, etc. He explained everything he was doing and when there were options on how things could be done he laid it all out and let me make the choice. Best of all the price of the two jobs was the lowest bid I received and I am so thankful for the work he did. I cannot tell you how highly I would rate his work. 1,000 stars! read more

Had several estimates on installing central A/C and heat in my parents house. These guys explained the pros and cons of different a/c units and differences in cost, one larger unit versus several smaller units, furnace types, etc. and answered all my questions. As I had several estimates I was able to compare info they gave me against other companies and these guys not only underpriced the others (without seeing their estimate cost) but showed up on time, were professional and most of all clean and respectful of my folk's home. Definitely PROFESSSIONAL and know what they're doing. I also happened to have a problem with the water heater that I casually mentioned, and they fixed that too for free once they finished the a/c and heater install! Overall, they had to install an entire a/c and heating system into a 70 year old house that only had a wall heater. They crawled around in the small attic, installed vents, did the electrical, installed all units, and made it look like it was all part of the original house. No weird unlevel vents coming out of nowhere or anything like that. QUALITY job, great HONEST pricing, and a pleasure to deal with. Now my folks are cool in the heat and snug in the winter. AWESOME!!!! Thanks Trucom, you guys are the best! read more

We had TruCom check our air conditioning unit. They showed us exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced and gave us what I felt was a fair price. They ordered parts and replaced everything, took photographs before and after and presented billing. They are true to their word and I would consider them experts. I recommend them and will use them again as our vendor. read more

I had a fantastic experience with this company and the owner, Eleesio Marinero! Service and product -- great quality, reliable, efficient, affordable, trustworthy and friendly! Eleesio was so helpful. He installed a heater at my rental property and condo. Based on that experience and because I know I can trust him, I also intend to use him for both AC and heating at our family home in Ventura County. I called him because he came highly recommended by our management company in Santa Monica (who uses Eleesio/TruCom all the time). I needed a new heater asap and Eleesio walked me through the process -- clearly and patiently explained my options and gave me advice on which heaters would work for my unit so I could make an informed decision. He efficiently took care of permitting, was punctual, respectful, thoughtful and did a great job with a quick turnaround time. The heater is just what we needed. I highly recommend Eleesio and TruCom for heating and air in Southern California. He knows the product market and you will get amazing personalized service! read more
