Ordering is a dilemma, especially if you want several sandwiches made your way instead of Mike's Way. You can give all the istructions up front, in which case some of them will be forgotten or miscommunicated. Or you can supervise each step, which can be an extreme exercise in multitasking. What has changed this year: There seem to be more employees, but they're less customer-focused. The woman who took my order on the last few visits appears demoralized and becomes visibly frustrated, if not hostile, if I don't place my order in *exactly* the way she prefers. On my last visit, she directly ordered the sandwich-maker to disregard my instructions. I hope she finds a job where she can be happy and were she doesn't drive off customers. Prices have increased and discounts have become less generous. Private equity seeks short-term profit over customer satisfaction or loyalty. There have been changes to the menu and decor which haven't impacted me. The menu numbers for the items they still carry seem to all be the same.
