smoothies are ok but DO NOT get any of the food. my mother got a sandwich and got terrible food poisoning. we had already heard bad things about the sandwiches but we wanted to give them a try. we learned our lesson. I'm only giving 2 stars for two reasons - drive thru wait and smoothies are too icy with little flavor. The salads and jalapeño corn were good but nothing spectacular. The smoothies taste more like an icy than a smoothie. The Blueberry Bliss has no flavor at all, with the Sunrise Sunset having a little more flavor. Again, both taste more like an icy than a smoothie. We waited 10-15 minutes before we could order in the drive thru, then waited little over 35 minutes before we got out order. Unfortunately, this will be our first and last time to try this establishment mostly that by the mixed reviews -this is the norm. To each their own, but make sure you aren't on a short timeline if you patron this establishment. We didn't complain because the staff never apologized during our wait, then had a scowl when handing us our food. They were terse and insincere when apologizing for the wait but at least they acknowledged the wait. We had such an amazing experience here! Very efficient with no waiting time. Everything was labeled and just as we ordered. The hummus wrap was amazing . The best ever. Even with all the substitutions in our order. My daughter recommended the coleslaw and I was delighted with it. I'm giving a 4 star because the smoothie was not flavorful enough. Workers were friendly. Smoothies way too icy, so it makes the flavor suck. Real reason for the poor review though; is you can't tip in cash, only with a card. I suspect the reason for this is the management/owner is trying to take a cut of their workers earned tips. And it's harder to stick their hands in the cookie jar if it's in cash. So they'd rather no one gets anything if they can't take their piece. If that's the reason for this bizarre policy, it's really messed up. It took over 20 minutes to get 2 smoothies to our table. As we were watching our smoothies being prepared, we noticed a few unsettling things. One of the employees was bringing up more ingredients from the back: strawberries. As we watched, I noticed there was mold growing on more than one of the strawberries and the bananas were browning. They had to start over on our orders, and at one point I was given the incorrect order. Another patron's order was created incorrectly, and then it was scrapped twice before she finally received it 20+ minutes later. Also, no one in the entire restaurant was wearing gloves. Costumer service is TERRIBLE here. After waiting for an online order for 20 minutes (after the time we were supposed to get it), we were treated horribly by the window worker. I'm just going to say. Yum. Yum yum. The chicken Thai wrap was Absolutly delicious. The funny thing is I ordered bananas as a side and literally got a banana. Smoothies are amazing BUT food is ALWAYS WRONG and most of the time missed the sauce so my wraps are bone dry and gross. Thank goodness for sauces at work to rescue! I've stopped going!! Complaints to management are never answered and staff in the store just shrug and look at each other like deer in headlights. Never recommending!! read more

The smoothies here are very hit or miss. It seems like every other time we visit Tropical Smoothie the smoothies are so watered down with barely any flavor. Along with the inconsistency in their smoothies, the drive thru is INCREDIBLY slow. They really should not allow drive thru customers to order food when it is not a fast food restaurant, and food preparation takes 20-30 minutes an order. My recommendation is to order online in advance - at least then you won't be waiting forever for one smoothie. read more

Amazing smoothies!!!! Drive through is always super quick. You can come up with your own ingredients for a smoothie as long as they have it. I like getting coffee, coconut, choc., and protein. I also do my own preference of fruits in smoothies. The employees are nice. In the beginning they may have had some troubles but practice makes perfect & this place is my go to! read more

Employees and Manager unfriendly and rude!! Was not greeted, was not thanked, was not asked if food was ok, was not asked if we had everything or needed anything, was not asked if order was correct. Largely ignored the entire visit. Absolutely one of the rudest establishments we have ever patroned. Noticed an error with our order ticket and neither employee or manager apologized for the error when going back to the register to correct it. Instead both were rude and the error was only corrected after being subjected to a long drawn out rant from the manager instead of just fixing the error. The manager could have cared less and it showed. It simply would have took an I'm sorry let us fix that for you and then let us know the difference we still owed on our ticket. Went back again to see if they were having an off day the first time and my smoothie (lean machine) was absolutely horrid. I was so very disappointed in the Tropical Smoothie today. I waited in the drive through over 25 minutes. Once you get in it there's no way out. I got the Baja bowl and dragon fruit smoothie. The dragon fruit smoothie was great enjoyed it. The Baja bowl on the other hand was terrible. I was supposed to get tomato salsa with it. It was left out of the bag.
