If you can't find parking on Person street I recommended parking on a side street and walking. Walking in the pizza shop has a cool, laid back, neighborhood vibe. To be seated you'll want to ask for an open table from the staff. Once seated we ordered a pitcher of Narragansett Pilsner and a small Caesar Salad (housemade dressing, lemon garlic breadcrumb, pecorino). The pils was excellent and wanted to order a little extra beer since it was the weekend. The Caesar was excellent and the portion was plenty of food for two people. For pizza we ordered a pizza with half sausage and half pepperoni. The pizza was huge and we definitely had to take 3/4s of it to go. The pizza itself was good and was a little heavier than I was expecting. If you are in the person street area and looking for pizza, I definitely would check out the Oakwood Pizza box.

For drinks I ordered the Long Island Iced tea (vodka, rum, tequila, gin, triple sec, sour mix, and a splash of cola) and my partner ordered the Appletini (vodka, sour apple pucker, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup). Both drinks were excellent and were nice and smooth. For our entree we split the Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti. We also ordered a side of spaghetti and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. The chicken parm was seasoned perfectly and may be one of the best I've ever tried. Overall this was a great experience and I look forward to our next trip to Anthony's La Piazza Prime. I'll have to try the Lobster Ravioli on this next trip with the vodka sauce.

The less then stellar: the place smelled like it had been washed with a dirty mop. Having worked in food service before, I know this smell and it was incredibly off putting. My friend and I shared the nachos with short rib and I think they forgot to put on the short rib because it didn't seem to be there. The nachos themselves felt cold and congealed and seemed like they'd been sitting around for a long time (and they came out super quick). We also each got a side of watermelon, which was tasty but felt a little small for the price, and stingy with the fresh mint. The ambiance was beautiful but I probably wouldn't rush back to this location based on the smell and the food.

We ended up sitting up at the bar and ordered a couple drinks to start. I ordered a pint of the Utica Club Lager which was excellent and very easy to drink. My partner ordered a glass of the Spellbound Pinot Noir which also was great and had a nice finish. For food we ordered the Bambino pizza (spicy honey marinara, mozzarella and provolone blend, fresh mozzarella, all beef meatballs, pesto, garlic oil) which was excellent. The crust was perfectly cooked, along with all of the flavors from the meatballs, garlic oil, pesto, etc. which made this pizza a hit and something we couldn't stop eating. They had a little tap on the patio. So we hopped in line. My friend went inside to see if we could get beer faster. You know divide and conquer. She won, however the line outside was still long so we stayed in line so we could get another. Sure enough by the time we reached the front of the line we were out. So we grabbed a couple more put them on the open tab from inside and walked around. We came back after walking around and decided after seeing everyone walking around with pizza boxes and Togo bags that we would eat here. We knew from being there earlier that they had outside first come seating seat yourself, but it was full so we went inside, turns out that is also first come first serve seat yourself. There was a table getting up as we walked in so we sat down and they were quick to come clean it. The waitress came and too our drink order and we saw her 1 more time after that. Even though they have a scan menu on the table for you to place your order I think they should still check on you. She came at the end to see if we needed her to close out our tab at the bar, we had already taken care of that. We could have used her during our meal. The wedge Cesar was ok, the lettuce was nice and crisp. The Cesar was good. I always get my dressing on the side sometimes when you get a salad it can be overdressed and I don't like that so I don't take chances. The Chicken schnitzel was ok not outstanding. It could use some seasoning. The salad "on top" of it was good. The dressing was really good. Now this roasted broccoli was the star of the table. It was so yumm. I only wish the dressing was on the side. It was so much of it in the top I had to rub some off. Otherwise it was so good. We would have ordered more but having to use the San to order and pay each time I didn't like that so we just ate that and moved on. Maybe we will try the pizza next time.
