Update: 1/21/2015 On Monday morning, a 4-man crew came to pull out our existing wood flooring. It didn't take them very long because our kitchen area is only slightly over 100 sq ft. By the afternoon, only Michael and Keola stayed to mud the area, install the rigid backing (because we have wood foundation) and lay out the tile configuration. Then, on Tuesday, both Michael and Keola mud, set the tiles and made the necessary tile cuts to fit into the configuration. This was an all-day affair! Their foreman, Rudy, stopped by several times to check on their work, consistently asked for our input regarding the layout, baseboards and finishes and assured us that they are open to fielding any concerns that we might have. Michael demonstrated the hardness of the tile that we had selected because we were concerned about the upcoming delivery and installation of our new range and refrigerator/freezer. The tile is an Italian porcelain that has an etched texture on it. Michael took his matte knife and firmly scraped it across the surface when sparks flew and the tip of his blade melted from the friction. The tile was unmarred! In fact, the tile is so hard that when they were cutting some tiles, the blade of their portable lathe sort of bent so Rudy took some tiles back to their shop to cut with a more powerful machine. I gotta give it up to both young men who tirelessly worked on their knees and bent their backs! Yow, makes my old body ache just thinking about it! On the third and final day, Michael and Keola returned to complete setting the remaining floor tiles and the baseboards. They were so exacting and the surface is smooth enough to not catch your hosiery or socks. We admired their high quality workmanship while they set about cleaning up their tools. They even wiped/mopped down our stairwell and foyer after removing their drop cloths! We're VERY happy, er, ecstatic with the fair pricing, workmanship and value that the new flooring will give to our home.

Three years now and still very satisfied, also now having another tile job done too small for Trinity I have an appreciation for Trinity's attention to detail. This new tile job had many minor level and alignment issues not found with Trinity.

Trinity did a fantastic job for us. We had a unique vision of how we wanted our stairs, and they delivered spot-on. It wasn't an easy job...lots of cutting...but it turned out better than we could have expected. They were also very accommodating to our specifications and exceedingly professional. I HIGHLY recommend Trinity for any tile work you need.

Outstanding service from start to finish. The price was the lowest out of three bids. Mike, the estimator, answered all our questions promptly. Kudos especially to Austin for his professionalism and expertise during installation; it really felt like we were in capable hands. The design was handled in a way to complete the job while making efficient use of our supply of tiles - much more leftover than expected. Very punctual; showed up on time everyday over the three day job. Jason, the owner, also called at the end of the job to make sure everything went ok. Thank you so much for a job well done! We would definitely use Trinity Tile again for future tiling work.

    Great renovation!

Met Jason of Trinity Tile Contracting because he was called in to evaluate a tile job that was done at our house that we did not like at all.

They were helpful, knowledgable, informative, and patient with me as I struggled between a couple of options. They were able at help me look for carpeting that fit my needs, without making me feel pushed - or like I was getting the hard sell. They were able to tell me what they had in stock, and for choices that were not readily available, how quickly these could be shipped to Hawaii. And...they were nice about everything...When I had questions about the process, they responded to my e-mails in a very timely manner. Paradise did not do the carpet installation themselves, but they were able to provide me with contact information for vendors that they had vetted and found to be reliable. This was very helpful - as the vendor I chose was one of their recommendations, and he was also very good.

We had originally been leaning toward LVP after seeing so many Instagram videos saying it was the way to go, but Lance suggested the Bravewood hardwood hybrid line -- and we're so glad he did. It wasn't something we had on our radar, but the quality and look ended up being exactly what we wanted. It's beautiful in person and feels really solid underfoot. Lance helped us lock in the right materials -- even securing low-stock items in advance -- and gave clear, honest insights into the differences between flooring types and carpet fibers. He also ordered samples for us right away so we could see everything in person, which made the decision process a lot easier. He even helped coordinate with our flooring installer, which saved us time and made the whole process feel more seamless. Lance was always on top of things -- following up, sharing timelines, and making sure we felt supported every step of the way. Even little details like stair nosing preferences were handled with care. Payment and logistics were smooth, and overall, Lance made what could have been a stressful part of the renovation feel really manageable. Highly recommend Lance and Paradise Flooring -- professional, easy to work with, and genuinely wants to help you make the best choice for your home. Mahalo again, Lance!

For that job they were quick, came in one day, did the measurements, returned the next day to install and it came out beautiful. This time, November 2024, I had a renovation to an apartment I acquired that I intended to sell. I tried to be a big girl and be my own GC and reach out to the contractors that were used before. I had called VC Flooring, talked to Betty and we continued our further discussions via text. Everything went flawlessly as the first time, he came to measure, returned another day and did the install... or so I thought.... Fast forward to the apartment being done and all I needed was the appliances installed. The delivery guys from Home Depot come with my appliances. They go to put the refrigerator in and it doesn't fit. I'm not there for the install, my elderly mother is. They tell my mom that the counter is too big and needs to be cut down! She passes on the info, I end up forwarding the texts, pictures and messages to Betty. Betty informs me that she will have the installer come back out to cut the counter. The installer returns to cut the counter down but by doing so would require smaller cabinets. So technically, everything was correct on their end, it was the refrigerator was too big! Thankfully, VC Flooring did not charge me extra for all the headache and return trips. Thank you Betty and team for all your assistance with this learning process for me.
