Really lovely staff. They were always pleasant, helpful, kind. We ate breakfast there every morning, there was a great selection of ready to eat food and we could order things like porridge or eggs to be fresh made and brought to the table. We also ate a lunch and dinner in the bar. The room was a good size. Only complaint was not enough counter space in the bathroom, clearly not a deal breaker. The beds were comfortable. Robes and slippers provided. It's in a great location, easy to walk and access public transport. It's above a fire station but you really don't hear that at all. Very kid and family friendly. Fridge available on request, kettle in the room. Would stay again! I liked the funky decor!

You must be aware the windows to the hotel look out on to a parking lot filled with firefighting equipment. Prepare for a sleepless night with sirens, loud radio communications, and other loud noise ALL NIGHT LONG. If sleep is a priority, look elsewhere.

This hotel is located in a busy area. But it is an easy walking distance for a lot to do. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance no need to get a taxi, and the staff was very friendly when we arrived. The hallway always had a wet smell. The elevator needed to be faster. We took the stairs, and they were smaller in size. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. We were lucky that the AC was working to keep the room cool during the day. At night, it was a lot cooler, but we heard other guests had a problem with the AC, but we didn't. The decor in the room was very chic and cute, the bathroom was small, and the towels were thin and small. You can hear guests in other rooms if they speak loudly, which is a lot. I am not sure if it's because some may have the window open, but it was more on the loud side

Trinity City Hotel is right in the heart of the College area. They do not consider this a for nothing, as it lives up to those standards. The Brunswick Bar, and the Courtyard Resturant are worth staying in and even provided local entertainment! Robes, slippers and a modern room awaits you! Hurry get your reservation now!

Pros: Walkable To many tourist spots Clean, roomy rooms Vending machines with little extras like converters Toiletries smell great Tea kettle in room with tea and coffee available Water and fruit in the lobby. Cons: Not enough outlets. No outlet in the bathroom for extras You have to buy your own converter This place was in a perfect location. We arrived via Aircoach and walked about 7 minutes straight from the stop to the front door. We were a little early, but were allowed to check in early. Check In was fast and easy. The staff was friendly. The room: Big and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The AC worked well. We did have a problem turning off the beside lamps off the first night. I had to go to reception since the line was alway busy. It was a super simple solution, but they should make it more obvious. The do not have an iron in the room. We did have trouble with the outlets. They really need more. I couldn't fine one in the bathroom for my hair iron, so I had to do my hair on the floor. The restroom: Clean and big. The toiletries smelled awesome. The shampoo and conditioner are combined. The shower door does baffle me. It seems like most hotels have it and I think it makes more of a mess. You have to be careful with water coming out. I didn't have breakfast included, so I can't comment I did enjoy the special extras like infused water and fruit in the lobby. Tips: Aircoach bus to airport is a 5-10min walk towards trinity college.

One word, "Groovadelic." In the heart of Dublin area, housed in the former Dublin City Fire Fighters Housing is this colorful Hotel. Purple is the the theme along with other fashion statements such as the wallpaper, art work, lighting, seating, and into the rooms. We enjoyed a two night stay while on tour. The staff and services are good by all comparisons. We did have leaky plumbing in the rooms (ours & our daughters). The problem seemed to stem from the tub/shower drain that ran onto the floor. The girls had a street view onto Pearse and we fortunately had a view of the ACTIVE fire department & alleyway. With all that said, I slept well, in our twin beds. FYI - confirm your sleeping arrangements before check-in. Our breakfasts were standard UK & Republic buffets. With eggs, scrambled or fried, haggis, bacon, blood sausage, sausage links, grilled tomato, mushrooms, yogurt, cereals, dried fruit, pastries, and breads. Each day, here & at others, I would mix up the regular. There's also a breakfast menu, but Tours buses aren't that patient. From the Hotel, we could easily walk to Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Durry Street, Oscar Wilde Monument & Marrion Park, the Quay's along the river.

Wonderful walkable location which is very close to Trinity College and the Temple Bar area with all the fun pubs in old town Dublin. Also easy walk to St. Patrick's Cathedral. We received an upgraded room in the Tara Section of the hotel. The decor speaks charming boutique hotel, absolutely gorgeous. The decoration was themed in very dark colors, so the room also seemed dark - especially the bathroom. Tough to see in there. The room was large and very comfortable but was missing a refrigerator. Typically 'Suites' include a mini fridge and not having one means trips to the bar for ice buckets to keep water & wine chilled. I guess perhaps I'm spoiled. So overall, very pretty but missing a little function.

For the price, my hotel room smelled awful and it was super noisy from the HVAC outside. I would take the noise of Temple Bar over that. I wasn't really impressed with the decor. Everything was plain and bland. It lacked charm. It was ok but I will look for another option on my next Dublin trip.

We arrived from an overnight flight at roughly 9:30 a.m. and they were still prepping rooms but they stored our luggage and recommended a location to grab something to eat which was very good. Upon returning about 45 minutes later our room was ready and we found the room to be meticulous with a very comfy king bed, mini fridge, tv, and ample size bathroom. I saw a few other reviews that stated the bathroom doors would not stay open but I learned that is by design and we just asked for an extra towel that we used to prop the door open when needed. It serves to point out that the entire hotel is under a complete remodel so many of the rooms and features of the hotel are shinny new. They do offer breakfast in the morning and for the evening they do have a restaurant and bar. Just walk out the front door if you want a livelier crowd and more restaurant options The location of the hotel is prime as it offers proximity the River Liffey, plenty of shops, pubs, and attractions. We walked to the Jameson (25 min walk) and Guinness (30 min walk) factories as it also gave us the ability to take in things along the walk. You are close to Trinity College and both St Patrick's and Christ Church Cathedrals. lastly, I cannot say enough about the staff, Anne at the front desk was a warm and inviting pleasure and very professional, Marvin the concierge and bellman was super helpful and pleasantly informative, the house staff was attentive and always looking to make sure we were comfortable. The Brooks comes with my highest recommendation.

If you come prepared, they have a concierge and a genealogist on site to help you find your ancestors from Ireland. Many famous people and politicians have stayed in these walls as well. That said, this was a truly special time of year when they're getting ready for Christmas! They took such care and were meticulous with their decorations. It was delightful to come home to each evening. Experience: 1. They will tidy your room everyday 2. Turn down service begins around 6 pm (they will get your slipper, robe, bed, water and chocolate ready for nighttime) 3. Their small guest room includes a king size bed that is superbly fluffy. 4. The deluxe guest room has a deep tub for soaking Staff: The entire front desk staff is very helpful, welcoming and efficient. Marta was especially helpful and kind throughout my stay! As for the porters were just right with their assistance. I did always feel bad that I had not gotten any Euro on my trip, but I will mention Karl was fantastic! Always helpful and nice to talk with. Michele in the health center was informative and helped me find all of the rooms for their current gym as it's under renovation. Facilities: They have a 5 star spa on site that includes one of the best relaxation rooms I have experienced in the world. It's the view and seating that make it amazing. They give you a blanket, fruit, spa water -- all while looking over st. Stephen's park... bliss! (I went on a rainy day which added to the ambiance) The facial with Elemis product was my favorite. PRO TIP! if you're from the states and liked Elemis, there is now an Elemis outlet store at Kildare Village, which is a short train ride away. I made it there in 35 minutes. DINING: Again, 5 star experience and the restaurant is always packed. Chef makes superb food and I thoroughly enjoyed the room service of fish and chips. TONS of fish, perfectly battered and fried. If I could give the shelbourne a 10 out of 5 I would.

It is in a convenient location nearby many tourist attractions, such as Temple Bar, Dublin's castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, etc. it was also a short walking distance to our car rental pick up at St Stephen's Green shopping centre. We booked this hotel for the first day of our trip. We arrived in the morning so our room wasn't ready for check in yet, but we were able to drop off our luggage in the lobby. This made it easy for us as we could continue exploring according to our plan (we took a 30 minute train ride over to Howth right after dropping our bags). Coming back to the hotel around 5pm, our room was ready and we were able to nap a bit before dinner. The superior room we booked was located in a renovated section of the hotel and had access to a shared outdoor patio right across from our hotel room. We didn't have time to use the patio but it was spacious and it seemed no one was using it whenever we passed by. Our hotel room was very clean, large (great for us as we had plenty of luggage) and we had two complementary water bottles in the room. We had breakfast the next morning and it was buffet style. There is a section if you want fresh made omelettes. Lots of variety I think but I stuck with the classic Irish breakfast items. So delicious and fresh! Check out process - we had a bit of a hiccup as I had given my credit card for authorization for breakfast charges when I checked in. The staff was asking for my credit card again which confused me as I had already paid. Despite the confusion, the service at Radisson was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel for fellow tourists!
