The pieces were big and you can tell they picked out the good parts of the calamari, not just adding bits and crumbs. Definite recommend! The burger was cooked to my desired request (rare) and they made it just as rare without going over to the medium-rare or medium side. The egg definitely gave the burger the cherry on top! The bacon was nicely cut and the tomatillo sauce was rich and tasty. Overall a very good burger enjoyed with pub fries which couldn't have gone wrong. The drink was made without questioned. The whole time going from table 1 to table 2, then noticing and commenting on the ants, the hostess was right there. No apology or attempt to clean anything up. Just standing there awkwardly, watching us take in the disappointment. It was clear the outside was not cleaned or even looked at in quite some time, and that would not change, so we left. We have been wanting to try Trident Grill for some time now. Stopped in on the way back from Costco. So glad we did. Got there just after noon on Sunday and sat in the bar immediately. By the time we finished our meal people were waiting out the door. Lucky us. I had the Cubano Grilled Cheese and my wife got the Pastrami sandwich. Both were delicious with the meat to bread ratio exceptional on the meat side. Fries leave something to be worked on but that is the only negative. Need to have Trident V built up near Catalina or in the Oro Valley Marketplace so we do not need to drive 45 minutes to enjoy again. read more
