Convenience store that doesn't have milk. Good place if you need a smoke or a mid sandwich though.

The location is new and modern. The service is very good. When I walked in and looked at the refrigerator that had the meats for the sandwiches it struck me that it didn't seem like the same quality meats that I had seen before. I don't know if this was a recent change, but I'm sure it's consistent across locations. We ordered three regular sandwiches, including an Italian, a steak & cheese and a super sub. We made two meals and one an individual sub. The total cost was just under $45. I was genuinely surprised by how much it cost. What equally surprised me was the amount and quality of the meats. It seems sparser than what I remember and not the same quality. The roll, dare I say it, was very subway like. It didn't seem completely done. I was disappointed. There are other alternatives that are greater value and quality.

When we called to report it, we were only refunded $6 for the burger--not even the full meal--which was disappointing, but I still chose to give the restaurant another chance. This past Thursday, I ordered a southwestern salad. While eating, I bit into something hard and crunchy--it turned out to be a pecan. I have a severe, life-threatening anaphylactic allergy to nuts, and there was no clear warning that this was in the salad. I tried everything I could at home to manage the reaction, but my breathing became so bad that my husband had to call 911. I was taken by ambulance to the ER and wasn't discharged until 1 AM. What made this even harder was that my young grandson was there when it happened. He was terrified, screaming for his Gigi as I was taken out by ambulance. No family should ever have to experience something like that over a meal. To be fair, the restaurant did credit the full cost of the salad. However, when my husband spoke with them afterward, he was told, "I don't know how we can make this right," which was concerning given the seriousness of what happened. This wasn't just a bad dining experience--it was a dangerous one. Between the initial issue, the minimal response to that, and now this serious allergic reaction, I truly hope this restaurant takes food safety, cleanliness, and allergen awareness much more seriously so no one else is put at risk.
