The space is…read morebeautiful, though I'm not a huge fan of how close the tables are to each other--even if I understand why they do it to maximize seating. My biggest wish is that the menu changed up a bit more. Every time I go, it feels very similar, and I often find myself struggling to find something that truly stands out or excites me. The food is good, just not particularly memorable. That said, the service is consistently good and it's still a nice place to meet up or go for a casual night out. I'd love to see some fresher or more creative menu rotations in the future because the setting definitely deserves it.

And if it has premium beef and isn't yet another smashburger (I like them, but enough already), best scenario yet. Forge & Vine Cheeseburger: The burger here was fantastic. Most importantly, the beef brought flavor-- very enjoyable. Crusting was solid, though there could have been a bit more-- and perhaps a bit more seasoning. But no issues with the flavor, and the interior was a perfect medium rare with juices aplenty. The challah-like bun-- with appropriate size, volume, and density-- also brought some flavor: a pleasant slight sweetness. Cheese got the right melt, tomatoes were very fresh, and the other ingredients all worked in harmony. Tallow Fries: Included with the cheeseburger, these had both crispness and give, with a moist, fatty lubricant to aid the texture and flavor. Salting was on point. And plenty of them. All this for $24 might seem steep, but in today's economy, where it'll run you nearly $20 for a burger and fries at Five Guys, I'm all for paying a few extra bucks for the extra quality. And the space itself is pretty impressive too, from the high ceilings to the wood to the open kitchen to the view of farmland out back. Service was good too: efficient and friendly. Planning to return to try other items and post another review.

The place was quiet, which allowed Ben to sirens time talking to us and giving is the ones and outs of his creations. Our server was Sienna, who was bright and personable, and worked side by side with Chef Ben to make our meal memorable. We started our meal with oysters. Chef gave us his recommendations and they were has delicious as he hyped them up to be. Then we tried the lobster guacamole, which the star of the shows was actually the bacon lardon that's layered in. A must try for anyone who loves this dip. I had the pineapple braised pulled pork tacos. I could barely finish two, yet alone the 3 healthy sized tacos. And my girlfriend was treated to both the crab cake and the specialty salmon cakes. She proclaimed the salmon the winner of that cake battle. For desert, which we didn't finish either, was the berry cobbler. I compared it to an oversized toaster strudel, but homemade and much more flavorful. Overall, we love it here. This is our 2nd trip and we'll be sure to come again soon! Pro Tip: sit at the Oyster Bar, watching the kitchen working is a phenomenal experience. Thank you again to Chef Ben and Sienna! And look, they also have events coming up!!

Our drinks and food were brought out right away as well as our check at the end. We ordered: 1.) Crispy Brussel Sprouts - 3 stars because ours were almost burnt which gave the brussel sprouts a too charred taste despite the sweet sauce doused on top 2.) Stir Dip Trio - 4 stars - This trio consisted of the spinach dip, buffalo rangoon dip, and street corn dip and was served with fried wonton chips. The chips were the star of the show, very crunchy, just right salty and the perfect pairing for any of the dips. The dips were pretty good. Our favorite was the spinach, then corn then buffalo in that order. To be honest, we came here mostly to try the drinks. The drinks were fantastic as we knew they would be. The food here is mostly American and to be honest, it is pretty basic. We could tell from looking at the menu and then the pictures on Yelp that the food wasn't geared towards our lunch or dinner cravings. But, if you go for drinks and appetizers, Stir is absolutely perfect. In fact, we plan to come back hopefully soon to try out their winter drink and appetizer menu!

We went for a family lunch and were met with kind service and deliciously fresh options. The cornbread with maple butter was a great starter alongside the Crab Dip that was loaded with fresh cheese and crab meat. Our steaks were all cooked well and definitely priced very fairly for a farm-to-table type of restaurant... we've paid a lot more for a lot worse! The flavors were all pretty hit or miss with the bone marrow butter packing a flavorful punch on our filets but the chicken pot pie missing a little more savoriness that were no stranger in the crab dip and butters. The steak and sunnies was a fun breakfast take on steak, eggs, and potatoes. The seasoning on the eggs and crunch on the potatoes left the best impression. And for dessert, our kid's chocolate chip cookie was a little hard, almost refrigerated? Had it tasted and felt a little fresher, we might've followed up with some milk and cookies for the rest of us. Overall the ambience and service made the experience meet exactly what we were looking for when making a reservation here for our family lunch. There were definitely some opportunities to really take it to the next level, but overall, we were very satisfied with our lunch and would definitely recommend for a nice countryside atmosphere to celebrate at.

Ambiance can be nice, given the feeling of eating in a greenhouse with the glass atrium style of the building. It's equally a great place to catch a game since there's literally a different TV mounted on every open wall or booth space anyone could find. My advice? Don't expect too much on the food front, stick to game nights in bar area, and don't bring anyone here thinking you're going to impress them, that's not what The Establishment is here to offer.
