[[HIGHLIGHT]]Unique spot to grab breakfast or lunch with the family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly staff and great for kids as there's plenty to entertain them. Prices are also very reasonable for sit-down service.

This is a cool rustic breakfast spot which offers delicious breakfast and lunch items. There was a bit of a wait but while you wait you can visit their little coffee hut which also offers maple donuts. They also have a cool gift shop with neat nic nacs and gift items, and of course their very own maple syrup. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant offers a forest cabin vibe and nice staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once seated, the waitress got our order fast and food came out in no time. The food was very delicious and I definitely will be returning.

The only thing disappointing about this restaurant is the fact that they're closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I travel 25 minutes for their maple bourbon latte, it's delicious every time, as is their food.

Food was fantastic! Portions were great and very reasonably priced. Fills up very dast but with a small army of staff it moves quickly.

The inside did look very nice. The seating inside is a bit to close for us. As we were going to leave more people came and they decided to open the outside. Service was fast and friendly. The wife and I both ordered from the breakfast menu. The portions were good and the food tasted great. I am not positive if it is true but I thought I heard the server say they switched to Lunch at 11AM. I hope not as the wife and I like to eat breakfast all day long. We were seated at the one metal table. Next time we will request a picnic table. The chairs were king of high and my feet could not touch the ground. There was a small bar at the bottom of the chair you could rest your feet on. There also was no umbrella. Overall things were great and we will return.

Generally no complaints big place is always packed on the weekends for both seating and parking outside, likely a half hour wait depending on when you go. Food is good and comes out fast. Kind of a high school cafeteria ambience feel with a section of looks like cracker barrel by the entrance.

When you go in, you can grab a menu and decide what you want before going up to the counter to order. You're given a number to put on your table and the food will come out when it's ready. If you ordered a caffeinated beverage, your name will be called so you can go up to the counter and pick it up. we ordered two pork hashes with a black tea and coffee. There is no free refills. The coffee and tea were both very smooth. The pork hash was really flavorful and well cooked. The barbecue sauce is on the sweeter side and at certain bites dominated the flavor profile. something in the dishes made us super lethargic afterwards. i don't normally daytime nap but took one when i got home.

We have tried the pop tarts, croissants, muffins and breads here. Our favorite morning pastry is the vanilla custard filled croissant. If you ask for it warmed before serving, it is simply to die for. I wish I was eating it right now! The owner and workers here are all so friendly. We have bought High Brow coffee beans from here and the light and dark roasts are both great. The coffee and offerings are obviously delicious as well. My only critique would be that I wish Salt & Light made their own oat milk or used a healthier brand option. They use the brand Oatly as their oat milk offering to customers. Oatly milk is absolutely terrible for you and can cause gut bloat due to poor ingredients, etc. But, other than that, we love it here and hope to come back soon :)

But really though, it's just nice to have another amazing breakfast place that's a bit closer to where I live for a change. Only a couple of towns over from Nashua, MPD epitomizes what the "farm to fork" experience is all about. From the farm fresh eggs, to the perfectly toasted bread, and homefries that seem tough to come by in most places these days. And wouldn't you know it - they even offer a choice between homemade hash or the canned variety. Diners like these automatically get bonus points in my book when they offer both styles of corned beef hash! If you viewed the photos before reading this review, you already know what I got. It's my all time favorite breakfast, baby! And I'll just say....they absolutely nailed everything on the plate! 10 out of 10, would highly recommend. The servers here are wicked friendly and inviting. I would expect nothing less from a diner so quaint. Yes, the dining area is rather small. Something tells me it's a good thing I came here on a Monday because I can only imagine how packed this place must get on the weekends. Should I happen by here on a Saturday or something, I'll make sure to arrive early just in case. It's one of those "seat yourself" type places. Because when you first walk in, you can literally see the entire dining area with but a glance. That's how small it is. A hole in the wall, if you will. And they most certainly live up to the reputation. There weren't many photos at the time of me first discovering their page here on Yelp. Perhaps I'll change that, should I decide to give their curbside take-away ordering a whirl and try a custom omelet or something. Whatever my next dish is, I can already tell this will become a frequent revisit for me. I'm giving Market Place Diner 5 plates of perfected farm fresh hash & eggs out of 5.

We ordered a ham & cheese omelette with home fries, wheat toast, 1 French toast with apple topping. Our order was served reasonable amount of time. Omelette was good, homefries were small pieces of overcooked potatoes, dark toasted toast. French toast was cold and sent back to stick in the microwave. Prices were the most shocking. Omelette was $15 bucks 1 French toast was $11.50, toppings extra, of course. Our breakfast meal was $29 and definitely not worth the price. Other menu items included $8 for 2 pancakes. Take cash, they charge a 4% credit card fee. We went a few years ago and had a nice priced meal, I doubt if we'll go back, too many other better priced diners to eat from with better quality for the price.
