Eggs Benedict and Homemade Cinnamon Roll French Toast
    Irisa J.

Came on a Sunday morning. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken right away. Our server was very friendly and offered some recommendations. I opted for the homemade cinnamon roll french toast. It comes with two pieces but i was already starting to feel full after the first one. My boyfriend got the eggs benedict with their signature ham. This was my first time trying eggs benedict and I'm not a fan of English muffins, but the egg and ham were very flavorful. Our food came out quick despite how busy it was.

Food was delicious. The atmosphere is so much fun Betty Boop. Bridget was amazing ! She had my best friend and your teenage girl's laughing and making us feel like we were having breakfast with family

    Bridget and her old boyfriend.

You know this is a top-notch diner because they can deliver a simple, delicious breakfast to the table in minutes! Two eggs over easy, with bacon, home fries, toast, and coffee: eggs cooked to perfection, bacon crispy but not overdone, home fries tender and not too salty, nice marbled rye toast, coffee that's robust and flavorful. A home run all the way! PLUS, they have the best waitress in New England, the lovely Bridget! She is the type of person that brings life to a kitchen, tables, and chairs and turns a place into a diner! Ask for her by name.

Had breakfast there. Food was amazing but Bridget was the best part!!! Her energy, her spirit and how welcome she made us feel. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times and make sure you ask for Bridget's section!!! You won't regret it!

This diner is a MUST! Everything about this diner is a 5-star plus-plus! We went for breakfast and let me tell you, every meal - from omelets to the Benedict's to my 2 scrambled egg plate - was wicked tasty! Our two servers, Bridget & Mary, were a HOOT omg! They kept us entertained and laughing the entire time we were there. If you're in town and hungry, the Dream Diner is a MUST!

We took Jacob for his birthday lunch! Bridget is wonderful!! Great service and food was fantastic You have to try the pastrami Benedict!!!

They had everything from smoothies to coffee, matcha to a full on food menu. Everything is house made and tastes incredible!! Their muffins stood out to me and the French toast meal was calling my name. I added a matcha on to my ginger muffin. Today was a travel day so that muffin was later eaten on the plane. I loved the French toast, they used bread from a local bakery, thick cut slices perfectly seared with a sweet either honey, agave type mixture with the powdered sugar atop. The eggs, I got scrambled but they were perfectly mixed prior to being fried. Plenty of parking out front. The staff were super helpful and kind with menu recommendations and worked in unison! Loved my experience here and will be back again the next time I'm in town.

While not every dish has been amazing, they have enough variety and something for everyone. The smashed breakfast burrito was a bit heavy and saucy for my taste, but the pickles added a nice crunch and a bit of acidity. The seared tuna salad had a great mix of ingredients although the tuna itself was a bit bland. The Israeli breakfast had a nice mix of ingredients and flavors. The drink menu is extensive and have been impressed with their coffee, juices and smoothies. Service is friendly and generally very quick although there can be a bit of a line to order when their is a big group since it can take a long time to pick if you aren't familiar with the menu. Have gone for brunch, late lunch, and a late dinner and the cafe has been busy, but there have always been plenty of tables available. Seems like a great place to get some work done or to meet up with friends.

First off, the staff are SO friendly here! The bar lady who was describing the specials to me seemed wicked eager about a few of them. I wondered if she had practiced that speech in front of a mirror every night before bed. Or perhaps she really does love those specials (even though I can't remember what they are at the moment). Next, we have the interior. Now....a brief background for the non-locals not familiar with the history of this location: In the not too distant past, this place used to be called "Donna's Place", which was subsequently shutdown for reasons unbeknownst to me. However, the general layout is similar to its predecessor; with the exception of the table rearrangements. They ostensibly retained the bar and even threw in a few add-ons to the overhead. Also, just a caveat when you first arrive: you have to use the side entrance instead of the one facing the street. Okay. We gotta talk about the coffee real quick. While the roast itself presents a nice bold flavor, I gotta tell ya....this coffee mug is HUUUUUGE!! I swear to you they bring out like, a bucket of coffee. Thing must be at least 16 ounces! I took a picture of it next to a standard size sugar container for comparison. Friggin' HUUUUUUGE! So far, my all time go-to breakfast is the build your own omelet with cheddar cheese, tomato, and onions with a side of homefries and toast. I've had this combo with and without ham, plus a side of bacon. But I was really curious about the infamous homemade hash. And so it was. I'm still the misfit who prefers canned hash over homemade. However, this one exceeded my expectations. Ordinarily, I'm forced to get used to the trend of homemade hash consisting of shoe-leathery brisket mixed with potatoes, all of which is typically bland. But not this hash. GP's hash is surprisingly well seasoned and tender! It's strange, but almost like a combination of canned and homemade. The corned beef is minced similarly like canned, only with a different texture. It's tricky to explain to folks unfamiliar with hash. All I'm saying is....definitely give this one a try. The omelets here are phenomenal! That's all there is to say, really. Sure, they could be seasoned up a bit (along with the potatoes). But this is the restaurant biz. Chefs have to play it safe when it comes to salt, after all. As many know, I'm always down for supporting my local hot spots. And this one will certainly remain a continual revisit for moi. Therefore, I'll give The Good Place 5 sensationally built omelets with all the fixins and a side of hash out of 5.
