Brunch Cocktails
Caleb M.

Needing a place to eat close to the highway this jumped out to us. Not having been to a location of this chain before we weren't entirely sure what to expect. Its decor and overall ambiance/vibe was a step above your typical nationwide fast causual chains (we all know the spots I am talking about). As well our server explained they are a from scratch kitchen and also take allergies extremely serious which I believe is important and allows for a lot of customizing! Their menu offers a large variety and they have an extensive cocktail/beer/wine offerings it appeared too. Due to the time and day we stopped it happened to be brunch time and despite already having breakfast I couldn't complain, any time can be brunch for me! Although if you didn't want brunch they have plenty of non-brunch options and you could order off their all day menu too.I had the short rib hash and my wife got their short rib grilled cheese. Both were solid dishes, only negative food wise my hash seemed to not have peppers and only a single egg seemed to be a little stingy considering their photos of the dish show two. Lastly onto the only major negative and reasoning for knocking it down a star. Service was lacking in a couple different ways. Our server was not very attentive which I can give a pass for overall as being short staffed is tough in these times. But the real issue was our table was seemingly forgotten about food wise, as multiple groups near us received food much quicker with more people that showed up later. A staff member noticed this and we could see them investigating it and our order seemed to be on the completed side of orders despite that being false. They did seem to address it quickly as our food arrived shortly after, although no mention of the mistake to us. Overall though I was impressed and would return to give this location and the chain another try in the future.

The Lobster Roll (Chilled) with a side of Parmesan Truffle Fries and coleslaw.

We were the lucky recipients of a gift card to this restaurant and we decided to celebrate our anniversary here with a dinner. All through July and August they are serving a hot or cold lobster roll that I had to try. It did not disappoint! Large chunks of lobster in a very light, barely-there aioli let the seafood taste shine through. The addition of fresh green onion elevated the dish imo and the side of Parmesan Truffle fries with a simple yet delicious coleslaw really made this a perfect option. Ashley D was our server and she did a great job checking in on us and getting our meals. My husband had a steak which was a bit more medium than medium rare but he still devoured every bit. The night we were there was not too crowded as we went on the early side. It was comfortable; when the weather is very warm some restaurants are unbearably cold but this was perfect. Overall a very enjoyable meal and great service. Despite other reviews, I think we will come back here rather than make the drive up to Nashua. Much closer and great food.

It's interesting that so many of the reviews (including mine from yesterday) cite the slow service, yet management apparently isn't doing anything about it. Dinner for two with the bread plate but no alcohol or dessert was more than $85. Come on Burton's, you charge premium prices, where's the premium, or at least above-average, service to go along with it?

We came for a late lunch. Slow service and 2 misses (not available) on the wine . Our server seemed ambivalent. Love the outdoor dining area. Food portions are generous and they have a GF menu (large selection ). My meal was slapped together and was not prepared as described. I won't be rushing back. Too bad they don't have a a good GF beer like Daura or Omission Take note Ivey, I shared the preferred GF beers.

Old Fashioned and Derby Street Coffee
Madeleine B.

A very underwhelming and overpriced experience and meal. Vibe: American bar and grille, bar area and tables are seat-your-self, patio seating available Service: On the slow side, we sat in the bar area and got menus right away but took a long time to get waters and everything else. They do have the checks with a QR code to be able to quickly pay from your phone. Drinks: Partner got the Old Fashioned which he liked I got the Derby street coffee which was good but missing elements that are listed on the menu (whipped cream and spiced sugar rim), when I let the waiter know he said 'sorry.' Food: Partner got the California chicken sandwich which was very tasty, fries were basic. I got the Harvest bowl which was not good at all. All the vegetables were flavorless, I think they were all steamed/boiled and had no seasoning. There wasn't enough of the dressing to compensate for the lack of flavor. Value: Definitely overpriced for what we got which was pretty basic/not very appetizing/missing ingredients listed on the menu Overall this was not a good dining experience and the food was not good enough to outweigh the slow service and high prices. Would not recommend.

If you're looking for upscale boutique sandwiches, curated charcuterie boards, and a cozy atmosphere with owners who truly care, this is the place to go. My family and I discovered them a couple of years ago, tucked under the West Acton Village building, and they've quickly become our favorite sandwich shop and gourmet cheese market. My son, who is in college always makes a point to get their sandwiches when he is back home. Their sandwiches are upscale, boutique creations. Our family favorite is the Ploughman's Lunch: rosemary ham, mango chutney, pickled red onion, cheddar, and lemony arugula on a Portuguese roll. It's the perfect balance of savory, tangy, and fresh. Our second go-to is the Pig and Fig, which is just as delicious. They also have gluten free bread available. In addition to the sandwiches, their cozy shop sells cheeses (if you love blue cheese you have got to try Rogue River!!), charcuterie, natural wines, craft beer, and carefully curated accompaniments like jams and chutneys. I've gifted their chic napkins and artisanal jams many times, and they always make the perfect host or hostess gift. They even carry unique finds like Bret's goat cheese and chili pepper potato chips, which I can't find anywhere else! On Fridays, they even have free wine tastings, which are such a fun way to discover new bottles. The owners Dawn and Tamara (aka Eve and Murray) are incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. You can tell they put thought into every cheese, wine, and gift item they bring into the shop!

There's fancy wine, cheese, snacks, interesting ceramic items, wooden spoons and serving plates , toys, etc. After looking around and selecting a few items (some honey, a dark chocolate espresso bar, and 2 small toys for my grandsons) ordered a couple of sandwiches on some fresh baked rolls, Watched the lady make them and then paid $60. Yes it's expensive, but I think it's worth it.

Banquet seating across one wall and high top seating in the one room dining area with a bar/drink area and coffee station. Lots of great breakfast choices. I'm so glad I went with the Western omelette. It was one of the best ones I've ever had! Perfect amount of perfectly sized ham, onion, peppers and cheese melted throughout and the wheat toast that comes with it is only one piece but it's a very large thick Bread, which was delicious. I ordered it with hashbrowns, which I was excited about, but they are not actually traditional hashbrowns ( shredded potatoes grilled), they're like McDonald's hashbrowns. They were kind enough to switch out for the home fries, which were very tasty. Build your own burrito $12 was nice addition but the hollandaise was lacking on the benny. They also had some breakfast/lunch specials, and who doesn't love biscuits and gravy!? so good! Service was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back soon! Lots of parking that's shared in the shopping center. Note: they have full liquor license and open until 2pm on Saturday

There were too many frozen foods on the menu and the dishes that should have flavor had none whatsoever. They served frozen "hash browns" which looked like the McDonald's version, frozen beignets (if they weren't frozen then it's even worse), and we believe their poached eggs were pre-poached and reheated. Corn beef hash and hollandaise sauce were truly flavorless. Standard breakfast food is the easiest to get right if you try. This is an accurate review, sorry. The service was great and the atmosphere was classic New England. But the food?... oof...

Literally everyone coming in had one or two kids with them. I never thought on a Friday evening there would be so many kids at a brewery! The beer was right up my alley. They had a tiramisu beer called coffeemisu and it was actually fantastic. Sadly I do not care to drink beer in a daycare setting. I raised my children already and never brought them to a bar or brewery until they were 21. It is bizarre to me that parents think this is normal and businesses who do not sell food allow it. There was a pizza truck outside, it was mid at best(not part of the brewery). $18 for a pie and nothing to write home about. The dead band was alright, we only stayed for 3 songs because of the atmosphere. Nobody asked me but I'm giving some "bar rescue" advice: You are not making money when children are taking up seats in your bar. Adults who want to drink were struggling to find seats and leaving while children were sitting at tables and running all around. This may be how you want to run your business but it makes no fiscal sense at all. Although I enjoy the beer I will not be back and I'm sure they won't care!
