We visited Karma in Westford with a 7:00 PM reservation. We arrived around 6:50 PM to check in, but since the rest of our party hadn't arrived yet, we weren't able to be seated, which was completely understandable. The rest of our group arrived promptly at 7:00 PM, but we still weren't seated until 7:18 PM. The food was decent overall, though a bit saltier than I prefer. We ordered the Salmon Bake Roll, Hipster Roll, Crazy Roll, Coffee-Rubbed Salmon, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Mongolian Beef. Everything was good, but nothing really stood out as memorable. One thing that surprised me was that the meat entrees didn't come with white rice. I think it should be included rather than ordered separately. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, although it can get loud enough to make conversations difficult at times. There were also moments when it felt almost too quiet. Some soft background music would help fill the silence and create a warmer, more inviting atmosphere. I still prefer the ambiance and service at the Burlington location. read more

Bad service. While the front desk is polite and welcoming, the waiter was terrible. He behaved like he did not want to be there. To compound this, a dish was served in a chipped plate (safety issue in addition to the esthetic aspect), while the Maki plate was worn out. When asked about the chipped plate, the response was "our plates need to be replaced, these are all we have" The quality of the food was very good. The quantity was very less (I have a small appetite)! The ambience is good. Oh Karma, my favorite sushi place I come here sooo often with my mom and we always leave in a better mood than when we walked in. They are consistently so good, and it's so beautiful inside. I always get the floral salmon, fusion maki with caviar, lemon basil salmon, or 6 course omakase. It's fantastic every single time. Review is based on take out. Great food. Fresh, flavorful, and the orders are always right. Every restaurant chef has a different recipe for making things, but I love the General Tsao's Chicken, the size of the Chicken Fingers (other places have gotten smaller with their sizes), and the Pork Spare Ribs. This place is amazing, everything is always such elevated quality from the avocados always being ripe to the tuna being perfect texture and freshness. We tried some new things tonight that were labeled "must have" the tuna tataki sashimi salad was amazing and I will get that next time as my entree, great ginger dressing, pretty big, definitely share if getting as an app. The crispy rice with spicy tuna and jalapeño was amazing too. This is my second time back and I was reminded why I came back. Whether it was was the amazing service, the food quality or the ambiance, it was an all around a great time. We ordered numerous of dishes and the only one I wasn't too keen on was the pineapple fried rice. It had a curry taste to it which took me by surprise. The salt and pepper spicy calamari app was probably one of the best ones I've had. It was nice and airy! Nothing like I normally would have them. The peking duck was a big hit at the table & you can substitute the pancake wrappers for actual baos with a surcharge. The phoenix sunrise sushi roll was impeccable! Had a great time at Karma a few days ago. The service was prompt and friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and the food was delicious. My only complaint would be that the menu prices were expensive. The portions are a good size but I can't justify eating an $18 plate of sautéed pea shoots. That to me is crazy since it is just pea shoots pan fried! The restaurant is beautiful though with great decor. The background music played is very lively and it seems like there is a mixed list of cocktails offered. We ordered hot sake which only came in one size. I would come back here with friends or family next time because the restaurant has a great environment for groups of people! read more

We were able to get seats at the sushi bar and loved being able to see the sushi being made. The inside of the restaurant is very cool-looking, though it was a little less lit than your typical sushi place. The menu is extensive and has options for everyone, whether or not you feel like sushi. The cocktails were good and very pretty, and all of the food had a lovely display upon serving. Karma has set a new standard for me for Chinese restaurants. After a particularly bad experience at our previous local go-to we left mid-meal (story for another time/review), went here and never looked back. Everything about the place is practically flawless: food, drinks, ambience, and service. Peking dumplings: Not at all like the bland rubbery filling that is common. Memorably flavorful, garlicky, with enough texture so it doesn't fall out of the wrapper when you cut it. The wrapper is thin and perfectly fried to a golden brown. Egg rolls: I was never a fan but after trying these I'm a convert. Same with the pork fried rice: light, not greasy, vegetables that stand out. Spicy Bomb: a cold appetizer: Tuna wraps with scallop and eel, avocado, tobiko. A beautiful presentation. My only question is where's the scallop? Diced or thinly sliced perhaps? though the flavor suggested otherwise. I suspect they might have substituted yellowtail or a white fish. No matter - it was yummy. Kung Pao Shrimp: The vegetables were cooked just al dente, the shrimps were large, plentiful, with perfect texture. Light on the sauce - just right. Very hot and spicy! Yuen Yang Spicy Beef: They do beef right here. Carefully sliced to an even thinness, tender and no disagreeable fat. I used to avoid beef at Chinese because it tends to be randomly cut large chunks of chewy meat, not pleasant. Again, Karma sets a new standard for me. Accompanied by lots of green beans, perfectly tender. Again very hot and spicy! I'm sure sure they would gladly tone down the heat if you asked but I like it that way. Drinks: very strong and delicious. Not too sweet - even the mai tais. My first was a regular and my second was a "Man's Mai Tai". We (the waitperson and I) thought it was just a stronger version but that wasn't it. It had a curious new flavor that I couldn't identify but liked it. I'd love to know the meaning behind the name. The large cocktail selection uses many uncommon ingredients like yuzu, Gochuchang chili, shiso mint... I have to try all of them! Service is impeccable! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and there when you need them. The room is beautiful and modern, with impressive chandeliers and well-designed lighting, a mix of seating choices including tables, booths, high tables, and at the bar. Cloth tablecloths and napkins! Just one small television, mercifully situated at the bar where I didn't have to see it. Music was jazzy and "chill", turned down low so I was only really aware of it walking to the restrooms - which were clean and fully stocked. I feel I have to mention the prices. Karma is not cheap. This particular meal, which included 3 drinks between the two of us and enough food left over for a smallish lunch the next day, came to $138 before tips! The high prices and portions that seem slightly smaller than most Chinese restaurants may give pause. Is it justified? Great food and a great dining experience don't come cheap I guess. But for me, it is worth it. Some other things we've tried here on another visit that we really enjoyed: Garlic Chicken in Clay Pot. And the Pu Pu Platter; it taught me to actually like chicken fingers! read more

The ambiance was really nice and felt like an upscale restaurant. Lots of vibrant decorations and people. I think the sushi was pretty good as well. I was worried going into it as Asian fusion can be a hit or miss but this restaurant seems to have a good grasp on how to handle it. The menu had things from Japanese to Chinese to Korean. Although I can't speak on the other things, the sushi I thought tasted really good. I had 2 rolls, a salmon and hamachi, that felt fresh and was constructed well. I think the seasoning did feel a bit salty due to the sauce which kinda takes away from the fish's flavor. A bit pricey but for the experience, perhaps it's worth it read more

I would've given this restaurant easily 5 stars but we were treated with an unpleasant entry on March 1, 2026. No smile. No hello. Just a very unpleasant stare with no words. My date and I felt very uncomfortable. I eventually found out that this was the manager that was treating us in this un professional manner. Another employee came and we then started talking. The manager quickly assumed we were just walkins and didn't bother to ask if we had any reservations. But he didn't bother to look at us any longer as he was just now looking at the computer. Although I have been there a few times and always enjoyed it, this time I had the Peking Duck for a special occasion and was not disappointed! It is by far the most expensive thing on the menu, but totally worth it. Perfectly cooked, which for this dish requires it to have very crispy skin and tender meat. We often get take out from here and every time the food is perfect! This is a pictureless review because we were so hungry when we got home we couldn't wait. One of the things I like about karma is their pickled ginger. For some reason it stays white and isn't pink. I have no idea why this is but, in my mind, I think it tastes less processed and more fresh. We get the same thing every time. Broccoli maki and Idaho maki. We also start with vegetable gyoza (pan fried) most of the time. On occasion we will have vegetable tempura instead of gyoza. Both appetizers are always fresh and hot-even with the time it takes to get back home. We have never seen the restaurant with open seats. It's always packed! We arrived around 7:30pm on a Wednesday evening and took the last 2 seats available, which were at the sushi bar in the back. SERVICE: Our server, Winnie, was quite attentive and friendly. Even though we were in the back she was there whenever we needed. BAR: The hot sake is large and reasonably priced at $14. The water glasses are heavy crystal, gave a classy feel, although the water had a slight chlorine taste to it. FOOD: The crispy chicken wings, 4 large for $15, were excellent, not overcooked and tasty. The pad Thai was well prepared and a generous portion. We sent the shrimp tempura appetizer back as although they were cooked fine and a good size, they were not deveined. Our server told us they only devein the shrimp when it is part of an entree. That is silly as it is impossible to clean the vein out without having to remove the tempura coating, and also, eew. Excellent flavor, but a bit heavy handed on the peanuts. Came with a side of very nice crab rangoons and 3 pieces of California maki, which were very tasty and fresh. Karma has great food at premium prices with average service, and bar service that is broken. The pan fired dumpling and sushi are the best in the area. Go to the bar, and it is a privilege to be served - you're asking, really? Yes - been there many times and it is consistent. Worse, we have received our appetizers several times before our drinks arrive seated at tables. Burlington Karma is so different including friendly, unpretentious bar tenders. The bar in Westford needs a change. We would enjoy if the level of service was consistent. Per other reviews that I have posted, the food is excellent. read more
